The service was friendly and quick. I wish this wasn't a cash only place. I got the cheeseburger with onions, sauce, and added bacon. The bacon added a great crispiness to the sandwich. The sauce was a bit overwhelming due to the amount. If I could have swapped my cheese out for pepper jack or swiss, this would have been a great burger, but it was good. The cheese fries were disgraceful. The cheese was barely melted and you could still see the 2 slices of what im assuming was kraft cheese slapped on the fries. I threw them into my microwave for a minute and the cheese still didnt melt. I don't recommend these fries. The price is high and even if they were $1 I wouldn't recommend. The fries themselves were also soggy and could use some salt. The berry milkshake was amazing and you could tell it was real berries. I would come here again for a burger and shake but i would skip the fries for sure. read more

We drove by and loved the old building, so we stopped on a whim with the kiddos. Burgers were super flavorful and a decent size. My favorite was their milkshakes. I had the fresh banana and my husband had a chocolate malt, both were sooo good. The banana was one of the best I've had. Will be returning! read more

Ok now, who doesn't love a Lil hole in the wall joint! I have always wanted to try this place and today was the day! The BLT was amazing, chili cheese dog was delicious, fried zucchini and mushrooms were also yummy! Customer Service was great and she was so helpful with answering our questions. Lou's is a gem! This little drive in spot is adorable. The service is fast but their menu is filled with all sorts of hidden treats and finds. Our family is a huge fan of their desserts. Their strawberry shake has chunks of strawberry in it and when you get the extra large it's incredibly filling. They have all the standard diner foods with some outdoor seating available. The ice in the drink is crushed ice. It made the drink refreshing and was delicious. The total was $19.07. A bit expensive but worth it. read more

Old school burger joint. We had a little scare that this north highland gem might disappear, but we survived. The burgers are big, and they use that special sauce similar to Big Mac. Potato buns, thick patties and shlettuce. It's not a fancy burger, and doesn't taste like one, but tastes more like what burgers tasted like back in the 90s. It's nostalgic, and it's perfect. The chili fries are so fire. It's meat chili and it's just damn good. I also love their old school milkshake. I think the owners and workers are the sweetest people in the world. I am so glad we have this amazing burger place in our community and we should all go support this mom and pop joint!!! read more

I don't mind if there's high school people working but what I do mine, it's when they're touching their face- rubbing their hair ,no gloves, eating the food while they're making it. He was UNBELIEVABLE .!!!! The food was bland and dry. I really want to like this place people talk about it. Lou's burgers are overrated. I didn't think their burgers were that great. The prices are very high. My boyfriend and I went there this past Sunday we got a hamburger and a milkshake. It was $20 too high for just a small milkshake and a regular hamburger. my boyfriend asked if they can cut it in half. The lady at the window was very rude to him. She said next time asked to have it cut never will I ever go there again and I would not recommend that place to anybody. read more

Service was great food wasn't that good my grandmother got a fish sandwich was dry and just not good and my grandpa got a chillie dog he said the hotdog was good but the chillie wasn't good it comes with beans which we thought it was chillie with no beans but that's just nitpicking the fries are bad not regular trash but the zucchini fires are great but service was excellent food wasn't very good and it's very pricey mybe we didn't get their signature food dish but what we got was very bad don't get those if you do go and get the zucchini fries. read more

Great value for what you're getting! The double cheeseburger taste like a larger and better version of a Big Mac from McDonald's and at a better price. The fried Mac and cheese was decent and I liked how it came out really hot. It definitely wasn't gourmet food but it is fast food at its finest. Saw this spot and decided to stop. Great burgers! I got mine with lettuce, onions and pickles. Unlike other spots (not enough pickles) there's pickles in every bite! The sauce (their original!) was tasty and just the right amount! Their fries are crinkle cut and cooked perfectly! Iced tea was freshly brewed! The food came out quickly! Tried this place for the first time recently...with all the great things I've heard, and living pretty close by I figured why not? First- if I could leave a separate rating for the guy who took my order I'd give him 5 stars...he was a younger guy working the order window and cooking food and he was the sweetest thing. Super polite and friendly, even complimented me and made me laugh. Now for the food...it was ok. I felt like they didn't really season the meat at all so it was kinda bland. And there was a lot of sauce on my burger...almost too much sauce. The bun was getting soggy before I finished the burger. I got a side of fried zucchini and a chocolate peanut butter milkshake- both of those were wonderful. I would definitely go back, because this place has potential. I think I'd just tell them to do a few things different when making my burger. read more

Great burgers and shakes. Burgers have a delicious sauce. The shakes come in a multitude of flavors and are thick as a milkshake should be.

The cashier was pretty rude. I thought it was just me but I was eating lunch there with a co worker and when we left I asked him if i was delusional or was she a little rude and he said she was really rude. The price was kind've steep for a local burger joint even for the sodas it was like almost $5. The chile cheese fries were pretty goof. Lou's is an old school drive up hamburger stand. There is seating outside and inside but there is no actual drive thru. All customers order at the window and then your name is called when your order is ready. I decided to go to Lou's today for lunch. I parked my car and ordered a cheeseburger at the window. The woman that waited on me was really friendly. If you pay with cash you will pay at the same window you order from but if you use debit you will be walked to a different window to have your card run. The wait for my food was quick and the burger was reasonably priced - $7.11 with tax. Lou puts a dressing/"special sauce" on their burgers and it was SO good! Oh! & their burgers are HUGE. I ended up getting full from just the cheeseburger and a soda. I'm trying to avoid fast food restaurants when I'm craving a burger, tacos, et cetera so I will definitely start going to Lou's more often. read more
