Atmosphere: Falafel Inc is a small shop right off of M Street near Georgetown's campus. They limit how many people can be in the shop at once so the line can get a little long at times. Also note, that there is no seating inside! Service: Though the wait to order can sometimes be a while, we have always received our food fresh and quickly. There is also a self-serve sauce station, so you can get your sauces while you wait for your food.  Food: We have ordered their sandwich and bowl. We prefer the sandwich, but both are great options. We feel that the sandwich is more balanced and saucy while the bowl felt like a "healthier" option with more veggies. No matter the vehicle of your falafel, you will have a delicious meal. The falafel is crispy and seasoned well. It is also not dry and pairs really well with their assortment of sauces. Our favorite sauces are the Invisible and Red sauces since they have a little zing that goes perfectly with the falafel! Overall: Falafel Inc is not only our favorite falafel place, but one of our favorite places to eat period. What can I say? I love this place. You can't get a better deal in the city for a meal that's filling, cheap, and also healthy. I've ordered the falafel bowl and falafel sandwich so many times. The sauces it comes with are all delicious, my favorites are the mazbout and the garlic sauce. I love the cabbage, tabbouleh, and Pali salads that come in the falafel bowl. This was a great lunch spot! It's located right on the wharf with covered tables set up in the courtyard outside. We took our food a few steps further to a bench on the wharf to get a view of the water as we ate. It was amazing! I ordered the vegan shawarma sandwich and my husband ordered the falafel sandwich. Both were loaded portions and very filling. I would say the falafel was the tastier option of the two, but both were really good. There are a multitude of tasty sauce options that you can sample that caters to all palettes from spicy to savory in case you wanted to add some more flavor to the already flavorful dish. I think the prices will shock anyone who walks in - $4 for a falafel bowl and $3 for a pita sandwich. I got a falafel bowl with hummus (for $1 extra) and then a side of fries. I spent in total under $9 so it was very reasonable. The fries had a lot of different seasoning in it, almost a bit too salty/much going on, but they were still tasty. I think the salad bowl is where there needs to be work. The spinach did not have much going on with it, and the pickles that comes with it has a lot of sour juice with it and kind of ruined the taste of the rest of the salad. It was very bland overall even though I tried eating it with a lot of the different sauces on the table. Hopefully they will work on making the veggies they put into the bowl more flavorful. The falafels were good though just a bit small. I think that the mission of this place is very inspiring, helping refugees while offering cheap food. An old coworker told me about Falafel Inc about two years ago and I'm so glad I finally was able to stop by and try it! A few friends and I were in Georgetown and we all ordered the sandwich--and yes, it is really $3!! My boyfriend and I ordered it with hummus which brought the price to $4, but I honestly think it could've done without the hummus. With all the amazing sauces loaded on top, the hummus was outshined by everything else. The real star of the show was the falafel. The falafel was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and all the veggies and toppings inside of the wrap complimented each other and the falafel perfectly. They had about 6 or so sauces to pick from, but my personal favorite was the Habibi (or perhaps the other reddish/pink sauce) and the garlic sauce. I would honestly bathe in the garlic sauce if I could. With $3 sandwiches and $4 bowls, it's crazy to believe that this shop can exist here in Georgetown, but I have no seen it with my own eyes. One of my consistent go-to spots whenever I am in DC or Virginia! Falafel inc has amazing fresh falafel, an unbeatable price point, and a worthy cause. They offer either a $3 sandwich or a $4 bowl. The sandwich is packed with falafel, lettuce, cabbage pali salad. tabouli, tahini, and red sauce on a warm baked pita. I usually opt for the bowl, which is a decent size and filled generously with falafel, red cabbage, tabouli, tomato, cucumber, pickles, zaatar chips, tahini, spinach, and a yummy sauce. The ingredients are super fresh and locally sourced! Both items are so filling and so cheap! They have a sauce counter where you can add many different sauces- my favs are the habibi, garlic, and white sauce. If you like spicy, I recommend the red sauce or the green invisible sauce (jalapeño based). Aside from the dank falafel and great prices, my favorite part about Falafel Inc is that they are partnered with the WFP (world food program), through which they donate every $10 in sales to feed a UN refugee. Who doesn't love eating good food and feeding refugees at the same time? I recently heard that they added a plant based shawarma to the menu as well. I haven't tried it, but sounds interesting! tl;dr version from quite a picky (particular?) person: Definitely check it out at least once if you can. Don't miss the sauces!!! Y'all I was so skeptical. Skeptical in part because I haven't exactly been wow'ed by DC food (even the higher rated place) but also because the falafel part of my heart belongs to East Side Pockets (another falafel selling place, among others, in Providence, RI). But I'm so happy to say that my skepticism has been lifted! The value is truly unbeatable - I'm just echoing the other reviewer's comments now - $3 falafel sandwich? $4 falafel bowl? YES PLEASE!!! I was satisfied (tbh full!!) on one $3 falafel sandwich, in 2021. The Za'tar fries are good, I guess for me it's more okay if missed. I can definitely taste the seasoning, so it definitely has its own unique flavor! BTW, the whole menu is either the sandwich or the bowl, but they have sides and fries and some drinks. You order at the counter and it comes out in like a minute. They're truly efficient and great. Staff are pleasant and courteous as well!! I do want to mention the sauces because those definitely elevated the sandwich for me. The green sauce (invisible) is wonderful - refreshing, light, slightly tangy; the red sauce is similar to their orange sauce but more spicy - I forget the name now but it's one of their more popular sauces! Definitely get these on the side before you leave (the Georgetown site has them on the side and to go containers so it's nice and convenient). I actually like these sauces so much I sent my friend and sister a few hours later to check it out and pleaded with her to bring back more green and red sauce. :D Of note, I think I tend on the don't eat very much side, but even if someone was ravenous, it's still a great deal!!!
