Each meal included, rice, pita, veggies and a grilled pepper. Gyro is offered as minced with beef (kofta kebab). Stopped by on an insanely hot day and had such a nice lunch by myself out of whim. Couldn't decide but wanted something smaller so I ordered a lentil soup and a side of chicken... the gentleman behind the counter was nice enough to let me use their sink and shortly brought me my snack and I was almost shocked. The lentils had great flavor, different from most lentil soups I've had at Mediterranean or "middle eastern" restaurants and an absolute tang that made me want them again. I'm one of those people that find cumin in small doses tolerable enough but the second it overpowers the other ingredients I get this sensation i'm tasting BO or someone needs a bidet immediately. Not the case here even though I absolutely would never dare use that much cumin ever but Falafelji went there. That grilled chicken was memorable! The Baba Ghanouj was smoky, and honestly the best I've ever had. I've never eaten warm grape leaves before but they were good. The Pita was very good and had a little kick to it.
