We have used the services of Falconer Funeral Home twice in the last 5 years. They were all things one would hope for especially when a death is unexpected. They helped manage everything from picking up the deceased to their cremation and ordering death certificates. The prices are very reasonable. My Dad's unexpected and unplanned passing left us heartbroken. I believe we were led to Falconer Team. Alexis since day 1 gave our family love, grace, care and made us feel seen, valued and heard. She took care of Dad as if he was her own. We felt and seen that. Carmen finished and was there with us for the big day. After losing my Mom, this funeral home was incredibly helpful with the difficulties in dealing with her unexpected arrangements. Christian was super helpful, and so was his assistant. My only heavy disappointment was that they never returned the jewelry my Mom had on before cremation. I asked several times and they told me there was no jewelry on her, which isn't true because she always wore two necklaces, and several rings. This never made sense to me, because they were the first to retrieve her after her passing. I'm saddened by this, and wish the results were different regarding this matter. read more

Carmen was so communicative through the entire process, explained everything, so well, was available any time to answer questions, and made me feel as comfortable as possible in such a terrible time. I placed a call to Falconer Funeral Home while my daughter was in ICU and spoke with Chris. He was very patient and sympathetic as I explained my situation. 10 days later when I had to call for his services he remembered me even though he only heard sobs on the other end of the phone. From the moment I met with Chris, through the funeral and even afterwards I felt Chris truly cared about me, my daughter and my family. He was very patient as me a very picky and over the top mom made plans for the "perfect" funeral for her 21 yr old daughter. If there were more stars to use for rating I would have used them. Mr. Timothy and his staff did such a great job with such a difficult situation. He was so very kind, patient and understanding. He and his staff did exactly as he said he would. He was totally upfront with every detail. We knew exactly the cost of each item and service before we signed any documents. He was not pushy with anything. He went out of his way to meet our needs. Our 90 year old loved one looked so very natural and beautiful. We have dealt with another well known funeral home who did a great job but for much more money. We have nothing but high praise for Falconer Funeral Home and the caring staff. It has taken this long for me to be able to write this review. My family went with Falconer after our lived one was tragically killed in Albuquerque, NM. The customer service was great and they even went so far as to allow the family to carry over a small balance. We were told that the balance had to do with the fact that since our family member was a large man, he could not fit in the casket that had been selected and would need a much bigger one. Well, though the charge was assessed, we didn't get the bigger casket. Instead, our family member was literally stuffed into one that was so small that his body could not be elevated in it. He laid flat throughout the viewings and the funeral. There was no thought put into his appearance at all. Had a family member not arrived a few hours earlier, he would have been presented totally ungroomed. She went in and was allowed to take care of his hair, face and nails. The family member applied his makeup and lip balm so that he wouldn't be ashy. We had provided the proper attire which was a black suit and gold tie. They cut the suit up the back, which I already knew might happen, but no one took the time out to properly fit the suit to his body afterwards. He was just disheveled. The family member, who was doing the grooming was not allowed to clean him up afterwards and remove the hair from the cardboard casket that we were overcharged for nor was she allowed extra time to work on his clothes because time was up and he had to be taken out for viewing. She asked about elevating his body, if they could at least use pillows and was told it could not be done. I am not exaggerating when I say his body lay flat down in the casket the entire time with hair from his shave and haircut all over the white casket bedding. But that's not where the story ends. Our loved one had, what appeared to be, teardrops. We all knew that wasn't normal although the attendant in charge tried to tell us that seeing bodily fluids at a funeral was normal. There were fluids that were the color of blood seeping from his body onto the casket bedding from behind his head or neck. My family had to clean this up not to mention straighten his clothes. We were traumatized at his death and more traumatized at his funeral. Bodies are supposed to be hard at a funeral. Our loved one's body wasn't. His body had been back in AZ for days and apparently nothing had been done to it by the Falconer staff since he had left NM. To us, it felt like someone finally decided to tend to him on the morning of the funeral. We had even tried to come in the day before to take care of his grooming and make sure he was presented to our satisfaction, but were told that it was not possible due to scheduling conflicts. This happened in September 2020. I have purposely not mentioned our loved one's name because it was not necessary. Plus, once the staff reads this post, they will know who it is. My family can't put that disastrous day out of our minds. read more

My sister picked this home before she passed. She had no immediate family except for us three (3) sisters. She had no expectation of where to spread her ashes and since the three of us lived in different parts of the country we requested her ashes be split in 3's, this was an extra $300 of which we gladly paid for since each one of us wanted to a memorial with our separate families. Well the funeral home did not follow our wishes and sent all her remains to the sister that lived by her locally. After several weeks and not receiving her remains I called to find out that they were not separated by the home and went to the sister locally. They contacted my sister who no longer had the ashes but gave them to her daughter who lived 500 miles away from all of us. The funeral home has tried to correct their error but required cooperation of the daughter who has yet to send them back to get seperated. I know the problem with the daughter is not their fault however if they had done their job which we pd them for I would have my sisters ashes, but two months have passed and Im still waiting. Very dissapointed!!! I would like to add that since the error was made by the funeral home, they have done what you would expect, try to clean it up as soon as possible and kept me updated on progress, and said it would gladly refund the monies paid for the service, which I am sure was meant as a gesture with no sincerity, since no refund was made. It has been almost two months and finally I have been informed that I should soon be expecting my sisters ashes.. read more

After attending a service here this week I was filled with comfort and relief. The director led the service and although he had never met the deceased in life, the message he left us with was one of wonder and full of faith. I unfortunately had to visit Falconer Funeral Home today with my mother to plan services for my step-father. I can't say enough about how welcoming, helpful, and compassionate Chris (the owner) was at this difficult time. At no point did it feel as though Chris was trying to sell us on anything. He listened, made suggestions when needed, and did everything possible to guide us in making the decisions that were right for our family, even when we discussed moving the funeral to CA and choosing a different funeral home. He was so patient, and his calm, caring demeanor really put my mother at ease. I cannot thank Falconer enough for how they've cared for our family throughout this process. read more

This place isn't worth a bucket of spit. They treated my family horribly with the death of my brother. The funeral director, presumably the owner, was rude and genuinely was more concerned with making money than letting my mother deal with her grief. I will NEVER go to this place again. There are lesser expensive places to go with people who actually care. read more

A long distance nightmare. Since I had to handle everything by phone 2000 miles away for my brother. My phone calls were not returned and he was not even buried in the 2 weeks they had his body and placed everything and everyone ahead. This still causes me pain to think about. Never consider this funeral home unless you can supervise them all you will get is their answering service. read more
