Wow...I really, really wanted to give them a positive review. I heard they changed ownership and I wanted to like this place again but man are they bad. Walked in a seemingly slow Tuesday afternoon. Ordered two pies and then I proceeded to wait for 75+ minutes. No heads up that it was gonna take a while, nothing to indicate that I was gonna waste over an hour of my time. The real funny part didn't happen until almost 35 minutes AFTER I placed my order that they realized they ran out of chicken for one of my pies. "Hey we're out of chicken is that ok?" That's what my heads up was. No can we make you something else? How can we make this ok for you? It's customer service it not that hard. The cherry on top my kid donated a dollar to their prize machines and they couldn't give two sh**s about it. This place is really a shadow of it's former self.....sad read more

So, I'm a frequent patron. Recently i noticed the crust had changed. That's what made the pizza so great. Sauce and toppings still great. Service excellent. I understand that there are new owners. Ladies, please go back to the original recipe for the crust. I'm disappointed that it changed. I asked other customers there at my last visit, and they felt the same. read more

Falcones Pizza & Wings are sooo good! We enjoy eating this pizza but recently they've started charging a 3% surcharge if you pay using a credit card. Luckly I had cash on hand but beware. I say if they are worried about credit card cost they should factor that into the price of the product. Instead of punishing those that don't have cash on hand. read more

I forgot about this old gem in Pico Rivera. Ordered a all-meat pizza which included chorizo as part of it. That chorizo definitely ante' up the whole pie. Also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Now, the sauce was the kicker!! It was bold and almost tasted like "bbq" sauce....Super rich and flavorful! It reminded me of a bbq joint in Pomona years ago. I'm not sure if that's there "default" Marinara sauce, but if it is please don't change the recipe! This is a family owned establishment that has been around forever with a fusion twist to their Italian food. read more

This was my go to pizza parlor & i must say im so disappointed. I jump around from Rios Pizza to Falcones but i wont be coming here for a while. Their dough has changed and the pizza tastes cheap. What a disappointment! This used to be one of my all time favorite places to eat but they got our order wrong. We waited for almost 45 minutes for a medium pizza. I went to the counter and inquired about our order only to realize it sat on their oven in a box for 20-25 minutes. How could they not see or at least check and see if we received our order. The extra heating in the box made our pizza taste like an overcooked frozen pizza! What happened? This place was so good. We also ordered a pizza to go. We asked that they cook it after we received our first pizza. Nope, was cooked at the same time and sat on the oven too. They made another for us to go. What a shame! An apology for the bad service would have saved a loyal customer. But, they messed that up too. There is always Two Sals or pizza 21. Not gonna pay 50 bucks for an overcooked, frozen pizza quality meal again. read more

This use to be my go to pizza parlor... we use to be here at least once a week when the old owners were still there... and I usually wouldn't leave a review at all but tonight's service and food was horrible... walking into the place they had a DJ I don't mind loud music what so ever but the music was soooooooo loud you couldn't even hear anything. Now if you are going to blare the music at full notch at least play something worth listening to... the owner was screaming so loud you would have thought they were having an argument... that just where it starts... the tables were filthy the seats were all sticky... Gross... and the pizza was not the quality it use to be... the sauce was plain, the dough was as cheap as a 5 dollar pizza and the cheese had no life at all..I was getter off going to the local 5 dollar pizza spots buying my own beer and calling it a day.. I hate to say it but we will definitely not be back!!! read more

We called to check status on our delivery they said it was on its way one hour and half almost two hours to deliver a pizza?!!! Really!! I grew up in Pico and I had been going to Falcone's for as long as I can remember. In particular, the dough was made on site and was fantastic. Even when I moved out of PR I would go out out of my way (and pay a premium) to get this pizza. A few years back I went in and learned that the original owner was selling the business. I'll be honest, I was worried. The new owner made a few changes but was obviously trying to keep up the traditions (and he kept the prices as well) so I continued to go. After some time it was sold again. Unfortunately, this time the new owner made major changes to the building and the pizza. What I got did not even compare to the classic Falcone's pizza that I went out of my way to get. I tried it twice and was disappointed both times. That is not to say that it is bad but it is nothing special. Certainly not worth going out of my way for (especially after hearing about the biker gang shooting in the parking lot a few months back). I will give it another try and update this if anything has changed. read more

This place has had it's ups and it's downs. I was a fan a few years back as this was the only Pizza we would order. Than something happened, and it fell off a bit. I know the place has changed owners around that time so I'm chalking it up to that. Than it changed owners once again and i waited a bit to try it again. After trying it again i can honestly say they are good again! Not as good as they used to be back in the days, but as good if not better than RIO's Pizza, their competition next door. The wings are good too, just be sure and ask for them to be extra Crispy and you'll enjoy them even more. The prices are kinda high, but it is good Pizza. I'm sad to say I must side with Patrick A's review and that the quality just isn't what it used to be. In fact, I have to say that it's heartbreaking! Falcone's was my "happy place" growing up in PR. The cheese, the amazing crust, it all just came together in a pretty amazing way. I would beg my grandmother to go there. That being said, it seems the new owners have taken a coupe of shortcuts. Not many mind you, the spirit of a Falcone's Special is still there. It looks EXACTLY the same, but the sausage doesn't taste as spicey, the cheese not as creamy and the crust.... The crust is hat confuses me. The flavor is the same, which is a good thing, but the texture and consistency is off. This alone is probably driving the tone of my entire review. My only guess is that when they removed part of the kitchen prep area to add a larger dining room area they must have thrown out something. I do recall a MASSIVE industrial sized mixer behind glass where they would prepare the pizza dough. Could this one thing change it? Or perhaps the oven? Who knows. Either way, I will still buy a pie when I visit my family again and hope I just visited on an off night. read more

I used to love this place as a kid and when it was family owned. The daughter of the og owners kid was in my godmothers day care. This last time I ate there the pizza was so so, very doughy. I think rios is way better, not so much dough. Anyway my pov of family food places. Once the og family leaves they take the love, the energy, and the flavor with them. Worst customer service! The girls that work there look like they don't even want to be there, we asked them questions and they ignored us. The cashier didn't know how to work the cash register so I had to wait until someone else came to do it. It took us over an hour to get our pizza and they gave us the wrong order of wings. And to top it all of the ambience was horrible!! If you want a nice dining experience don't dine in!! Way too loud! I got the Philly cheesesteak pizza. It sounds good, doesn't it? I was expecting a new and exciting taste, but it was actually quite bland. Unfortunately, it wasn't just that my hopes to get a pizza that tasted like a sandwich were dashed... The pizza's very essence was bland. Had a terrible experience here today. They were short staffed and the poor girl who usually works in the back had to help out at the register and had no idea what the codes were. The entire place was hot! They had a non working fan inside and the ac wasn't on in the patio until we requested it! It's summer it should be on always! Our pitcher of coke was watered down. Come to find out they were having problems with the pump. I pass many other pizza places on my way here from Rosemead this may not be my first choice anymore. I applaud the staff that were present they tried their best however management should be visible and have solutions for these problems especially on a weekend when volumes are up. read more

The pizza is really good here, although I have enjoyed better pizzas but their wings are really good and I'm not a wing person. Came here after a long baseball tournament with my boys and liked the fact that you can come and enjoy a good meal with the kids. The staff is friendly and your order comes out fast the only negative thing was the salad because they really drenched it in dressing that I really didn't enjoy it much, other than that good food and great selection of beers. They are really generous with the toppings on their pizzas and my boy's loved the fact that their pizza had a lot of pepperoni. read more

My husband has been going to Falcones for more than 35 years. Moved farther away but still came back once or twice a year because it was awesome. After several months of healthy eating he couldn't take it anymore and loaded up my 16 year old son for a treat. What a let down! Last time he went, he thought it was "slipping" a little but thought maybe they were just having an off day. This is definitely not the old Falcones pizza... -Sauce doesn't have the little spicy kick it used to have. -Dough was doughy. -Toppings were sparse Not worth the drive anymore...
