    Classic Burger

The inside of this spot is super cool with tons of aviation artifacts and planes. It seemed like a great spot to relax with a beer. Service was good and the manager even changed sports to kids TV to occupy our wild kids. The nachos ($16) are awesome! They were the classic kind but loaded with guacamole, sour cream, and queso. They were also a HUGE portion and amazing. If you like nachos, order these! I tried the classic burger ($17) and while good flavor, it was super soggy and fell apart. The fries were also too seasoned. I'd stick to the appetizers and a beer if you head here.

Bar food choices and friendly staff. Quite pricey. It was at least $10 to add protein to salad, which came to ~$23-25 for some greens topped with chicken. I did like that the kids menu included entree, fries, applesauce, and soft drink. Overall, good for hand-helds, nachos, and drinks. But prices are steep for average/mediocre quality.

Falcon nest is located at Omni Amelia Island Plantation. As far as I know anyone can eat here even if you are not staying at Amelia Island. My husband and I went here when we stayed at Omni and it very convenient since they have a shuttle from the hotel to Falcon nests. This restaurant has pretty cool theme which is aviation, they have different pictures, planes on the ceiling and many more! They have plenty of seat but since it was Friday night that we went there we waited maybe for 15 minutes. Service was great here, very quick! we ordered the nachos which by the way was ginormous for our appetizer. I ordered the hotdog and my husband ordered their burger. We both liked our dinner and for desserts we ordered the banana pudding and the cookies and cream for to go. We enjoyed going here and we're hoping to go visit soon!

As far as hotel restaurants go, Falcon's Nest is pretty good. Very unique aviation themed restaurant with themed menu item names and decor. There's salads, burgers, sandwiches and BBQ. We started with loaded nachos to start and it certainly was loaded. Nice dollop of guac on top. I tried the beef brisket and the fat to lean ratio was perfect. The flavor and the nice char along the edges was great. Unfortunately the meat came lukewarm. If it was piping hot, it would've been perfect. The cornbread was flaky and sweet. The tater tots was great.

Decent food with a high price tag, but great atmosphere! I loved the location of the restaurant because it felt like a summer camp! Plus the decor is an aviation nerd's dream! We were seated quickly and our server was sweet. We ordered the Nachos appetizer with Pulled Pork ($16 plus a whopping $14 for the meat) and they were tasty (and big) but not $30 tasty. The queso and toppings were just on top and not on each layer of the chips, which was annoying considering how big the plate was. The Wings ($16 for 10) were good but nothing super special. And their ranch was not my cup of tea at all - it tasted homemade which I'm all for but it didn't really taste like ranch at all. Overall, I'm not sure I would come back unless I wanted some big portions of bar food with an expensive bill. The area is sweet though!

Everything was delicious! Our server, Joey was very helpful and accommodating. I was able to get onion rings instead of fries with my hotdog and they great! I was also curious about the housemate pickles, and he brought us out a plateful and they were pretty good. It was just a right amount of everything on our stuff and everything was well-made. My husband's burger was not a frozen preformed patty, it was a fresh made burger; you could tell just by looking at it as well as the taste. He even really liked the fries. Even though I couldn't finish my onion rings or hotdog, I ordered the brookie because I really wanted to try it. Somehow, between the two of us, we finished it. The decor and theme was all about airplanes as well as everything on the menu was in theme.

Whenever I review a restaurant, I base it on the taste of the food and the quality of the service as the main two points. In this case, the staff was super great we ate at this restaurant twice, but mostly because it was the only reasonable option on the island. The first night we both got a burger and it was probably the greasiest burger I've ever had from a restaurant. It was worse than... Honestly, I can't remember ever having a burger that was kind of nasty. I mean it's a hamburger. It's pretty hard to mess up. Because there were no real options, we went there the second night and ordered a margarita that tasted like straight sweet-and-sour. It was super nasty. We didn't drink it at all after the first sip. On the second night, my partner got a Caesar salad and I had a club sandwich, again dishes that are kind of difficult to create poorly. But they did it and , the bookcases the food was below average

Falcons nest is good. Clean, awesome decor, good service. Huge portion sizes and short waiting times. Great bar in the center of restaurant with tv all around. Burgers are huge!!! Prices are fare!

We came here around 9PM and they stop serving food at 10pm and close at 12AM. If you're staying at the Omni then this is one of the choices where the tram shuttle will take you. First things noticed is great friendly staff. The food took a bit of time to come out I'd say like 30 mins. We had: - Turkey sandwich & fries: this sandwich as you can see in the photo is huge as heck. It's like 3 sandwiches in one? It's very filling I had to take the rest of the 2 decks of the sandwich back to our villa. Fries are good the taste like they have some type of garlic pepper seasoning and crispy - Burger & fries: I heard this was nothing to write home about lol - Fish sandwich & fries: it was mentioned this was good but from the looks of it it's a tiny sandwich I wouldn't recommend this to someone very hungry Would I come back? I don't think so but it's a great place it seems like for drinking and watching games

Afterburner (fish sandwich) and check out that good looking side salad.

A Georgia native may be tempted to refer to this place as Dirty Birds, but its government name is The Falcon's Nest. Regardless of which side of the border you're from, it's worth a visit. We went on a Saturday for lunch, and we had a good experience with Danielle (I think) as our flight attendant (server). My co-pilot had the B12 Bomber Burger, and I had the Afterburner (fish sandwich). Both were prepared well, but she really enjoyed her burger. We didn't have a cold beer with our meal, which was not due to a lack of options - so many tempting options. I also really like all the airplane decor, which is probably thanks to my fondness for Maverich and Goose. Don't worry Falcon's Nest, we haven't lost that loving feeling.

Great burger place. We all had burgers, and the old-timers were a classic. Everyone enjoyed their food. Nice atmosphere, and the server was pleasant and very nice.

The decor really hasn't changed; it's still one of the nicest rooms on the island. We showed up with three bottles of wine from deep in our cellar, and they handled them well. I offered to cork the 2015 Chablis, as I was a little unsure about the cork stability, and they were fine with that. (By the by, the wine was fine; absolutely wonderful, in fact). Our party of 7 ordered across the menu; the burrata starter (with an extra order of focaccia, as suggested by the server), the meatballs, the suppli, and 1/2 dozen of the east coast oysters. The oysters were great; small, shallow cup, briny and fresh. The suppli were small, but cut into bite size portions, we shared them around, and the taste was all there. The meatballs were slightly smaller than we thought they'd be, but they were meaty, juicy, and came in a ragu that perfectly complemented them. The burrata was the star of the show; fresh, milky, and accompanied with diced tomatoes, onions and strawberries. We were in luck with out entrees; they had their burger on the menu. The burger is made from scraps of their Waygu steak. It was served on a toasted brioche bun with melted cheese, house burger sauce, and house made pickles. The fries were delivered extra crispy, as I requested. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Truly spectacular. The pastas really shone; the lobster ravioli were wonderful (though the portion was a little smaller than we thought is should be) with thin hand stuffed pasta and plentiful lobster filling; the pasta carbonara was wonderful (and prepared with guanciale, as it should be), and the English pea and mint agnolotti was a vegetarian's dream. The smoked chicken lasagna was a huge portion served in a cast iron coquette; I seem to recall it from the old menu, and it was as good as always. We were all stuffed after our feast, but we still had room to share some of the mini cannolis. They were made à la minute; no mushy pastry shell here. First class dessert Service was good, pricing was reasonable, and the atmosphere was lovely; highly recommended for modern Italian on Amelia Island.

Cassidy took incredible care of us, Chef Alan was so thoughtful, and every single thing we ordered made us pause mid-bite. But what made the night unforgettable was the hospitality. They went so above and beyond -- the kind of genuine kindness and thoughtfulness that makes you want to stay all night and immediately start planning your next visit. We left feeling so taken care of and texting every single person we know that they need to go ASAP before we even walked out the door. parmigiano reggiano funnel cake (A MUST!!!!!) carbonara english pea agnolotti pork chop milanese (star of the show!!!) tiramisu, s'mores cookie, pecan tart (the s'mores cookie altered the trajectory of my life) RUN, DON'T WALK!!!!!!!!

When we sat down with our kids, expecting the same--especially since the shuttle driver told us breakfast was being served--we were told no and that it wasn't available. The inconsistency made no sense. We arrived at the same time, yet were treated completely differently. Not to mention, the wait staff made no effort to help. Instead of coming to our table to speak with us, they stayed behind the bar and called out for me to go talk to the manager. It felt dismissive and honestly pretty disrespectful. Our server was very hard to hear and didn't communicate clearly, which made things frustrating from the start. Basic service was lacking--we had to ask multiple times for water and a chocolate milk, and it still didn't come until we followed up again. That shouldn't happen. On top of that, my daughter specifically asked for a plain burger, and it came out with cheese. It just felt like no one was paying attention. What made it worse was that the manager was clearly within earshot of the entire interaction and didn't step in to clarify anything or offer a solution. Overall, the experience was mediocre at best, but this situation left a really bad impression. For a golf course restaurant, the level of service was unacceptable. Consistency and basic hospitality should be the bare minimum.

Very casual, warehouse vibe with heated outside patio, that overlooks....you guessed it; a marsh. Menu is mostly typical roadhouse/pub offerings, but at a bit of an upscale price. Service was good, and food came quickly. The battered mushrooms were deffinately premade from frozen, and not overly generous with the serving size. The handhelds (burgers and sandwiches) were large, but came with no sides. Sides were available, for an upcharge. For 2 drinks, 2 fries, and one order of mushrooms (one of them being poutine), and 3 sandwiches, the bill (with tip) was $140. Pricey, in my opinion, and nothing special, but fine.
