I'm always treated very nicely here. Great staff! The classic cheeseburger is delicious as is the patty melt. Fries and waffle fries are great, but the onion rings are the best! They're very crispy, delicious and not greasy. I'd skip the basic salad as it's made of burger topping shredded lettuce and such. It seems skimpy for the $5 price-tag. The Friday fish fry is always out of fish when I go in. I wish I could try it. But for a reliably perfect bar burger with impressive quality and quantity beef, this is the place. I was looking for a nice, chill place to hang out at with a friend and found this bar here on Yelp. While I quickly noticed we were the only black people there, that didn't bother me (as that happens occasionally). However, after sitting down and placing our drink orders, I casually looked around at all of the Redwings gear and pictures on the wall. This place has one of my favorite bar burgers, like the bar and the pool table there as well.

I heard this place had a great burger and I'm on a quest to try all the burger places around Dearborn, so I checked out Fall Sports recently. First off, the ambience is a total turn off. Green lighting in a dark bar with no comfy seating, but lots of TVs and noise. It's not exactly an appetizing combination. But service was perfectly friendly. Fortunately we stopped by on a Monday when the burgers are discounted. Even so, a cheeseburger was $7 with no sides. That's a bit steep, even for a 7 oz burger. It was a decent burger, but I have no idea how they won the Channel 4 awards in 2016 and 2017, especially with great places like Miller's, Brome, and Taystee's in the same town. The burger itself needs seasoning and 7oz is a bit larger than I like. We also tried the bacon cheese fries, which were literally fries baked with shredded cheese and bacon on top, with a side of ranch dressing. They were ok, but I would have preferred if the fries were crisper and a cheese sauce vs shredded cheese. As is, they were more like fry nachos. So, glad I tried it but it's not my kind of place. read more

All I've heard about lately is that they have the best burger, according to the WDIV Best of Detroit. Well, we gave it a try today... I'm thinking that Trump assigned the Russian-Bots to vote on this establishment, as places such as Taystee's, Ford's Garage, or even Miller's, is better!! I ordered the Pepper Jack "The Ripper" Burger with Waffle Fries and a coke. By the time you add it all up, it was about $15, which to me, is ridiculously high for lunch, so hoped it would be fantastic!! The burger, although toting pepper jack cheese and jalapenos brought no heat, and for "Medium", was dry as a piece of petrified wood... Worse yet, it had no taste (was it even seasoned?!?!?). The waffle fries had a fishy taste, and being a Friday, probably was fried in same oil as the fish. The coke was ok, typical bar watered down coke... I was not impressed at all... Some places will match your mood 5% of the time - for me, that 5% is when I feel like doing full hair and makeup, thinking about my clothes for more than a few minutes, and walking into a place that feels like everyone is faking something. Then, there are places that match your mood/vibe more like 95% of the time. You can go in whether you're dressed to the nines, just worked out, after work, or anything else. You can get delicious food that isn't pretentious and has been made by the same folks who are shopping for the ingredients. And guess what...95% of the time, I don't want grocery store lighting that will force me to worry more about hair makeup and wardrobe. So the mellow lighting at Falls is SO welcomed. Falls is all of these things. And after moving away from home many years ago, when I'm back in town, a trip to Falls reminds me that there are still places in the country that are as genuine as the people who run them and everyone in the place. I have been eating here for at least 8 years, and they certainly do have some of the best burgers (and corned beef) in town. But Fall's is much more than a burger bar. It is a great local sports bar. So if you want more than a burger Fall's is great. Secondly, I simply have to respond to coach Phil Black's inaccurate and disparaging post regarding the framed photo of the famous clown, Emmet Kelly who created that clown figure "Weary Willie," based on the hobos of the Great Depression in the 1930's which had absolutely nothing to do with black faces, or black people. However, with his painted-on beard and other clown make-up I can certainly see how this photo may be mistaken for a black face, particularly in a dimly lit bar, but it most certainly IS NOT. Yes, even Amazon sells Emmet Kelly paintings. Moreover, I know the owners personally, and they would never do anything whatsoever to offend anyone, regardless of race, color, creed, etc. On the contrary, they always go out of their way to assure a pleasant experience for all of their customers. read more

Gotta be honest. Let s start with the burger. It seems mealy. As if all the fat has been pulled out of the burger and replaced with way too much cheese. I ordered medium rare and it showed up well done. There also seems to be issues between the waite staff and the kitchen crew. A lot of bickering. Also, for whatever reason, there was only one bartender/waitress working at 5:30 on a Friday night. She was doing the best she could while being slammed with food and drink orders. Generally, this is the fault of management not wanting to pay 2 people to work. They might want to re think that move. I've tried to give this place a chance several times pre Covid and during Covid. Fall's is one of the best watering holes around the Dearborn area. Good food, large variety of beer with good specials, lots of TVs for all different sports events, and a nice, friendly crowd. Their burgers are really good, especially with the slightly melted Velveeta. It's definitely not a 1 napkin burger. My only complaint about Fall's is that the kitchen often closes early, pending on the demand for food. At 9pm on a Friday, the grill has been turned off, so we were only able to get things like fries, chicken fingers, mini tacos, etc. We ordered the chicken fingers with a side of ranch. A lot of chicken fingers turn out super dry, these are actually great. If you want to go to a place to watch a sports event but not a place where you can't carry on a conversation, Fall's is the way to go. read more

*OPENLY ALLOWS MINORS AFTER 9PM* Cheap watering hole that my best friends all frequent, and the burger is pretty good (not WDIV channel 4 worthy, but at least palatable). Until Saturday night, 3/3/2018 that is--after how we were treated, we will NEVER be back. A group of 10 of us celebrating a 30th birthday walked in at 1am to find 20-30 juniors and seniors in high school, not even trying to hide the fact that they're underage, all wearing varsity jackets and EFHS wrestling team hoodies. Apparently one of their team members had just won the state championship that day. I mean, congratulations, but having them in the bar past 1am, with the owner freely walking around and totally okay with this? Already off to a questionable start. The adults with the team(easily identifiable by the fact that most of them were still wearing their EFHS gear as well) were all obviously drunk, two of them falling all over themselves and knocked into me, spilling half my beer all over my outfit. We decided the safest bet was to get out of the crowd and go stand over by the pool table, which was our next mistake. The birthday girl and I had our friend take a picture for us, and three of the HS students knocked into him while he was lining up the shot. He said something to the effect of "say excuse me," or "hey watch it" and that was that. Not three minutes later, an extremely intoxicated father of one of the wrestlers gripped our friend up and started yelling "DO YOU PICK FIGHTS WITH HIGH SCHOOL KIDS" and dragged him outside along with two of the other coaches/dads. My s/o and I were sober so we decided to go outside and see if in our sobriety, we could help smooth things out. This was our next mistake. We ended up getting our friend out of the clutches of these middle aged men ganging up on him, and he headed for home, but this encounter was far from over. While the dust was settling, this same drunk dad, who wasn't done with his rampage yet, and set his sights on my s/o, who is a middle eastern man with a beard, and so far had said NOTHING beyond "hey, calm down" and things to that effect--essentially a bystander. The drunk dad started screaming "Hey, was that your boy? Do you like fighting with kids too?" and proceeded to lunge at him. I attempted to block his charge, but he forcibly hurled me out of the way so hard that I bounced off the back of a mustang in the lot and landed on the ground. It took this man's friends right up until he almost had my s/o in his hands to restrain him. Then, instead of throwing this drunk idiot out of the bar, the owner's friends proceeded to tell my SOBER s/o that he had to go, while allowing the man who has now attacked three people unprovoked, to go back in the bar, where they hid him in the kitchen/walk-in (I saw this when I went back in to get my purse before we left) once they realized the cops were called. His friends proceeded to call me a "lying b-tch" and yell "bullsh-t," while I was recounting the story to the police. So to sum up, Fall's is a place that: -lets teenagers who've just won state championships hang out in a bar until well after 1am, drinking with their coaches (I didn't see any kids obviously drinking, but with that packed of a bar and all the adults chaperoning them being belligerently drunk, who's to say it didn't happen?). -has an owner who stands idly by whilst his drunk friend/acquaintance throws around obviously injured men and tosses females into cars while the aforementioned kids watch, then throws the people who were just assaulted out, while hiding said assailant within their establishment. This is hands down the trashiest experience I've witnessed in a bar, and whatever trouble coming this establishment's way about it will be well-deserved. read more

I have lived near Fall's for 7 years and never really set foot inside until the past week. The drink specials are really impressive and the food (although mostly "bar food") was delicious and cheap. My table ordered an assortment of tacos, hot wings, and burgers and everyone was quite pleased. Service was overworked and the crowd is a bit "clique-ish" as another reviewer mentioned, but go with your own friends and it's a delight. read more

I'll buck the trend here and say the Fall's was decent. I will say that I went for lunch on a Wednesay which can be the reason I didn't have such a lousy experience. There are daily specials and they were $1 Sliders or 5 for $4, $1.50 Coneys, and $2.25 Chili Cheese Fries. I think those prices are pretty solid. I will admit my food wasn't the best in the world but I couldn't complain for the price I was paying. I thought the waitress was very attractive and I'm told she usually isn't dressed so warm if you catch my drift. Service was a bit slow because the waitress was all alone. They got slammed with two groups of 10+ that came in for lunch who appeared to be regulars. Plenty of TVs were in my view so it made the wait more tolerable. It was my first time but the waitress assumed we were regulars and just came right up to take our order without offering any menus. The guys I was with both got the classic which looked like a good order. I nice sized burger, not overcooked, served with fries for $4.95 I think. It's a dive with daily food specials and average food. I did notice they had solid beer specials on Miller Lite going on and High Life specials all the time. read more

Falls is a small neighborhood sports bar located in Dearborn, Michigan. It's located at a tricky intersection and sort of hidden behind a strip mall from the view of drivers on Outer Drive. If you can find it though, you will probably like it. The lighting is very dim, which I told my friends last night makes everyone look good. Sports were broadcast on flat screen tvs throughout the bar. And the bar was already in the St. Patty's Day spirit sporting shamrocks and Guiness decor along the walls and bar. The bar also has two dart boards and billiards, for those interested. Beer was fairly priced. I believe a Bud Light bottle was $2.50. I'd recommend a fruity shot called sexy time that I had for the very first time last night. The restroom was surprisingly very clean, and not just by bar restroom standards. read more

Love this local hangout. Great bar food, burgers, wraps, wings, onion rings. Service is super fast at the bar, and still good at tables. On the odd night when it's slammed and they only have one person serving it can bog down, but they still make it reasonable. Good price on draft beers. read more

Definitely have to pay attention to what they charge you. They never itemize the bill, just write a total on the back. We were here last night and each had a burger and fries, plus a nachos appetizer and a tall draft beer each. Total was $48! Food should have came to about $30, so we were charged $18 for the two draft beers. Nothing that we can do about it now, but it still pisses me off. read more

Ok so this place gets a little extra credit for being two blocks from my house. Every time I've been here the drinks are always good and the bartenders are very polite. However if your going to put "best burger in town" on your sign, your burgers should be on point. First time I ever tried a burger ordered in medium and got a very dry well done patty. I never eat well done beef so it was extra bad, but I'm always to afraid to send food back and hadn't eaten all day so I made do. The fries were great and when I pointed out how over cooked it was the bartender bought me a drink and was very apologetic so kudos for that. Me and a friend stopped in here after meeting him at a local high school for a game of tennis, and this place surpassed every expectation that I had going in. I had a burger, fries and a couple of beers. The burger was outstanding, large, juicy and tasted very good, and the fries were very crispy just I like them.
