This is the light above our table.

Let me start out that the server was what made the place. Food not so great. I had the. Chicken fried steak. Gravy was like water. Mash potatoes were good. If you look up at the light its full of bugs. Kinda gross.

    Delicious pork chop dinner

Delicious! Absolutely delicious, had pork chop dinner tonight as you can see from the photo that is for $19.99 + plus you get a dinner salad, a roll and a small scoop of ice cream! Unbelievable. The service was very good. Nati was our server did a great job, it was a diner that you remember going to with your grandparents family-owned diner fee. The ambience showed that completely brought back some great memories.

Has a very classic cafe feel. Can't go wrong with breakfast here. The service was fast and friendly.

    Mushroom and Swiss omelet

Stopped here in between meetings, the cafe looks like an old school diner. Seating was quick, I was able to choose where I sat and service was impeccable, they were all very friendly. I ordered the mushroom omelette with crispy hash-browns. The only thing I could've done without was the Swiss cheese. I thought it would be mixed into the omelette instead of slices on top and it didn't melt as nicely.

Lunch counter. There are also booths and outdoor seating.

Service was great, waitress was attentive and checked in several times. Place is clean and well kept. Seems like a locals spot. I had the veggie breakfast burrito and it was very good. Everyone else had eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, and we all enjoyed the food. Servings were ample.

BLT (A) with onions rings and a burger with avocado and fries. SOOOO GOOD!
    Agatha G.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we rolled up but the food was excellent! The BLT (A) had plenty of super crispy bacon and was toasted just right. The onions rings were PERFECT! The burger was very tasty and the fries were so good too! Will definitely go back if we're ever in the area.

Stopped in here for lunch when just getting into town and had a good meal. It's your basic, no frills diner. I had a two egg breakfast with a ham steak, which was really good. Normally, it's pretty hard to mess up breakfast, but the ham steak was really good - nice grilled flavor. My wife just had a grilled cheese. Obviously, not gourmet dining, but again, it's a cafe. We were both happy with our orders. We stopped in at 2:30, so it wasn't busy at all. Regardless, our server was very attentive and very friendly. Great place to stop for a good meal.

The patio overlooks the water and greenery, which makes brunch or lunch feel extra calm. The menu has something for everyone, from brunch favorites to fresh California-style dishes like fish tacos, paninis, burgers, and such. I had the smokehouse burger and like to get it medium. I got it with the house salad with balsamic vinaigrette and it was delicious. My fiancé had the prime rib sandwich dip and sweet potato fries that were also tasty. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Tucked away like a hidden gem, this place has the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to slow down, enjoy life, and order one more cup of coffee just because. The coffee was absolutely fantastic, the vibes were perfect, and the hospitality was something you don't find every day anymore. This most recent visit we had their vegan avocado cookies but I didn't love it. I'm not sure if it was too sweet or too salty. It just tasted a bit off. My kids both had a couple bites and didn't want anymore, which is odd for them to not eat sweets. We also had a tropical sunrise smoothie, which I tried and it was good. One of my daughter's liked hers and the other was picky and said it tasted different. Hubby and I ordered lattes with oat milk. Unfortunately, the Mexican mocha powder mix contains dairy since they use the LA Abuelita Brand of mix (owned by Nestle and not the true OG Mexican chocolate, check out Ibarra instead). So we ended up with vanilla and hazelnut lattes instead with oat milk. We took our goodies to go and service was friendly and quick. In the past, I recall more vegan pastries so I'm a bit disappointed that the only option was a cookie. Anyway, I would likely return if I'm meeting up with friends or in the area for a drink, but wishing they had more vegan friendly options. Plenty of seating inside. The door was a little funky to open/close. Bathrooms inside. Street parking or free parking in the lot across the street from the gem society. I read another review about the ube waffle and I have to agree with them. I was expecting more ube flavor. It was decorated pretty with the flowers but the flavor just wasn't there. Out of everything I ordered the blue velvet pancakes were my favorite. They were soft and fluffy. The cinnamon roll pancake was for my husband. I did like that they like you order pancakes à la carte so you don't have to do full orders of everything and get to try everything. Crème brûlée French toast was ok too. To be fair I'm not sure if it's because we had to take it to go. With that said when taking to go, the pancakes were still good. Waffle not so much but to me it also lacked that one flavor. My husband ordered a margarita and our waitress recommended peach and she was right. Peach margarita tasted yummy as I took a sip to try it. We came around 2pm and there was plenty of seating inside available. We were able to find parking in the shopping center easily.
