    Cobb Salad
    Emily S.

Came here for my Birthday lunch. Lovely setting and attentive staff. I had the Cobb Salad which was huge. They have a lovely Veranda to have an outside lunch on. It was a little cool that day, and they have heaters. First time having Beignets. Interesting that they are listed on the Menu under : Appetizers. There were 4, so the 3 of us shared. It a great dessert. It is right off Mission in Fallbrook. The grounds are so pretty, and I felt like I was in the Mid West.

I came across Grand Tradition Estates while exploring on yelp for other botanical gardens in the area. Wow! I was blown away. It is truly stunning -- everything is so well-taken care of and green! Fountains and multiple waterfalls. A romantic gazebo overlooking the lake. Lizards and birds were happily foraging and basking in the sun. A dream for any nature/plant lovers and those who love peaceful, waterfront views. No wonder they host weddings here. Definitely a hidden gem in Fallbrook. I recommend comfortable shoes and a hat, though there is plenty of shade and benches to sit, throughout. Give yourself -at least- one full hour to spend here, but you could easily spend 2-3, especially if you have reservations and make a stop for lunch at their restaurant inside the mansion. Pictures do not do it justice. There is a lot to explore. You'll have to see this magical place for yourself. You can read more about their COVID/visiting policies on their website. Masks/face required to get in. Everyone including staff was wearing theirs indoors and in shared public areas. Most people who removed them in the gardens, while greatly distanced outside, put them back on when within 15ft or so, if quickly passing by others. I felt safe being here and everything (including the beautifully designed bathrooms!) was so clean. It is very spacious and was not at all crowded when I went during the week, mid afternoon.

Was our first time here and we had a wonderful experience. We had a reservation and seated within a few minutes of arrival. Service was friendly and attentive. The view was amazing. Food was good and reasonably priced. After brunch we walked around the gardens and sat by the lake. We will definitely be back!

This magical garden, grounds and gorgeous event venue/restaurant is the epitome of a hidden gem! The boyfriend and I were randomly driving around looking at gardens and garden stores in North - East County, and this one popped up on Yelp. We remembered that out local Fallbrook friends had mentioned going there once so we decided to check it out. It's glorious! Lush and green, multiple waterfalls, a pond, a large fountain - really stunning. Check out the property map here: http://www.grandtradition.com/property-map/ The host weddings, private events and their own signature series, like concerts in the summer, Easter brunch with the Easter Bunny of course, and Breakfasts with Santa. The Beverly mansion has a white porch that wraps around and gorgeous decor throughout. You can get inside with reservations at the Veranda restaurant for brunch - and if you call ahead, they'll even create a romantic picnic basket for you that you can take out into the grounds and enjoy you lunch al fresco! I can't wait to go out there and eat soon! What a find!

We got married here three years ago and every year we come back and enjoy the wonderful gardens and great food. The manager Don and staff are wonderful. They always make us feel good. The food is always and consistently well prepared and presented. If you are considering getting married here you will be very happy. Thanks again Don, we appreciate you. Ray and Christina

Beautiful garden, my friend got married here and it was stunning. The horse carriage is a nice touch also. Looking from Google map, the beautiful lake has a shape of a heart. The event was planned well, loved every single details and thoughts that went into. Bravo.

Had lunch there on the Veranda - it was perfect weather to enjoy a meal outside. The view is so pretty and it the food is very good. I love that they garnish the meals with edible flowers - I never knew mums and certain daisies were edible. Our waitress was sweet and very accommodating + knowledgeable. I had the Rueben and the homemade chips. It was delicious. I wish they did have hot deli mustard to go with it though. Their homemade lemonade is also very tasty - I normally don't like lemonade - its either too sweet or too tart - but theirs is just right. We had all the desserts and passed our plates around the table to sample them! Afterward, my Aunt surprised us by not only picking up the tab but also she paid for us to tour the gardens. Its very pretty and we took lots of pictures. :) Who knew this place existed in Fallbrook? I would return for sure!!! :)

These people have the worst business savvy. What a disappointment. This place smelled so bad. I'm glad I'll never have a wedding here.

From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how intentionally the space is designed. It was a rainy November day and the gardens felt lush and intimate without being crowded, and every corner offers beautiful, natural backdrops that photograph effortlessly. Even though it was raining the greenery and gray sky created the softest light that felt romantic and dreamy. What really stood out to me was how smoothly the day flowed. The layout of the venue makes transitions--from getting ready, to ceremony, to cocktail hour and reception--feel seamless, which is a huge gift for both couples and vendors. The team at Ethereal Gardens was wonderful to work with. They were organized, calm, and clearly experienced, which made it easy for me to focus on capturing genuine moments rather than navigating logistics (This is HUGE for a photographer). Not all venues experiences are created equal and this team stood out. They were ready with umbrellas and fresh drinks for the Bride and Groom at every moment. As someone who photographs weddings regularly, I can confidently say this is a venue that supports both the couple's experience AND the creative process. I am honored to get to photograph another wedding here in May and HIGHLY recommend Ethereal Gardens to couples looking for a naturally beautiful, well-run venue in North County San Diego.

The food deserves a special mention.. from cocktail hour to dinner to late-night bites, everything was delicious and widely raved about. The dining experience to choose our menu was such a fun highlight and something we highly recommend. Bar service, valet, and overall guest experience were seamless and elevated. We selected our DJ from the venue's preferred list and Greg with SD Party Time DJs was phenomenal -- he live spun our wedding and somehow blended Taylor Swift with heavy metal flawlessly. The dance floor was packed all night. While there were a few things we wish we'd known ahead of time (design option clarity, food not being boxed at the end of the night, and end-of-night teardown logistics), none of these detracted from how magical the day was, but would have been nice to know before hand.. With a bit of advance planning, these are all easily managed. Overall, Ethereal Gardens felt like a true luxury wedding experience. We're so grateful for our day and would absolutely recommend this venue to future couples. Posted some personal images but the Professional Photos from Sierra Dawn Photo. It is so nice to be able to be outside and see birds away from a store environment. This place is on 45 acres and it's kept up so beautifully. I was especially impressed when I met the owner and found out he is recovering from a health issue. The gentleman had trouble walking, but I guess he is on the mend and doing well. They have over 500 birds on premises and are so knowledgeable. I did a little research on the owner, Jerry, and he is THE expert of the breeding and caring of Toucans in captivity. While we were there he had 2 phones calls from other facilities asking for his advice on this situation or that. He with a couple of partners are the ones who developed the pellets that are now fed to these amazing creatures by zoos and other exotic owners. Super impressed with his knowledge and the knowledge of his assistant Marcella. Since Jerry is having difficulty walking, Marcella took us to the nursery. When I asked detailed questions of some of the babies, she pulled out a journal where EVERY bit of information on every bird is kept, from hatching until they are sold. I was floored. Also impressive is how friendly the babies were. They are hand raised and each one is socialized. I am definitely going to purchase a bird from here, I just love the way they start their life. The problem is deciding which one, do I choose an Aracaris or a Toucan..

It helps to personalize all that is taught in classrooms across California. Mission San Luis Rey is one of the prettiest missions that I've visited so far. The parking lot is large, and it also has an overflow to accommodate larger crowds during special events. There is a large, white church that is in the center of the parking lot. Due to its size and proximity, it immediately grabs your attention. Many people begin exploring at the church, but there's much more to see. If you walk to the far left side of the property, you'll see the actual entrance. There is small gift shop as well as a counter where you'll pay your entry fee to explore the museum. One thing that I liked about Mission San Luis Rey is that replicas of various artifacts looked pretty authentic. Also, the backstory for each item was described in detail. The mission was incredibly clean, demonstrating how much pride people take in the presentation of the property. There is a small cemetery adjacent to the church. You can walk around and pay your respects to people who had either a physical or emotional impact on the mission and the community. The grounds are well-maintained and it remains inviting to people who want to explore around. The church is large and inviting. You can purchase candles and place them near the entrance as well as the room off to the side or another room closer to the front of the church. The displays are beautiful and well-lit to draw your attention to details. People maintain a low tone in the church to allow guests to pray, have a moment to themselves, or to make a connection with a higher power. Before you leave, make sure that you stop by the small coffee shop. It's located near the bathrooms near the south side of the property. There is a little gated patio area where you can hang out with friends, family, or even your dog! Mission San Luis Rey is a great place to visit. People are very friendly and quite helpful. When we went to the mission, the weather was perfect and we had a clear view of the area. It was a great experience and I will definitely come back for another visit. I don't know which mission we will visit next, but so far, this is my favorite.
