On my birthday, my daughter, her grandmother, and I walked into Fallen Angel yesterday to get piercing! Angelina has been here before, and she loved their choices on jewelery. It's also a lot closer than the other shop I was used to going to. Fallen Angel is a tattoo shop and the set up inside is gorgeous. I liked how the tattoo stations were set up facing the windows and the clients getting tattoos had movies playing for a nice distraction. There didn't seem like much room, but maybe it was (since I'm not the expert, lol). Everyone looked comfortable! We met Shannon! She walked out with gorgeous long purple & blue hair and a big smile. I instantly loved her personality! After introductions, she went to go sanitize the room so we could all get pierced. One by one and we watched each other all get pierced, Shannon took her time with each of us. We all did something different. My daughter got a floating halo, her grandmother got a flat, I think?? I got the conch. Right before Shannon pierced us, she offered to count down if we wanted. I needed a count down, lol! How funny is my daughter that as I decided on the conch, she whispers the word "ouch" to me before I was pierced, lol! Yeah it hurt, but it also felt great! Shannon was quick with it and handled my ear worth care. Shannon also explain to each of us the process of keeping it clean daily, a few times a day with saline. We all took it like Champs! I've gotten a ton of different piercings here (lip, cartilage, industrial, rook, conch, nose, eyebrow, etc.) over the years and I have never once had a bad experience. They have a lot of affordable jewelry and also a good selection of 14k gold jewelry as well that's not too expensive. I've taken so many of my friends here because it's the best piercing shop in Sac. Boss Tom was able to take that idea and create a beautiful image of an onion with an infinity sign hidden. At this point I have about 50+ hours of tattoos with Boss Tom. I've been to this tattoo shop before. I like to be artist that did a lot of my work on my arm. This time I have the owner, Tom Cooney work on my Chihuahua tattoos on my ankle. The problem with this tattoo or these tattoos or that they did not match anything that I had asked him to do and he refused to show me ahead of time what is designs were to go over them. This time they are in the wrong orientation, they did not match the direction I wanted, and he pressured me into getting them because I have been waiting two months and flew out from Las Vegas to get them done. By him specifically. One dog is missing an ear. They do not resemble my dogs and they are not "cute" in anyway When I told him I was unhappy with the design and how it came out he said I attached his work. His work is now on me and I'm not happy with it in any way shape or form. Take a look for yourself with the pictures here to decide if that's the kind of work do you want on you. My opinion is that an artist should do his best work for every customer. If it's gonna be half hearted or half assed. It should not go on a human being I got the half assed work. I got my belly button pierced by Shannon and my friend got her ears pierced. Everything went flawlessly. Super sterile (clean) environment. Lots of art on the walls to distract you if you're nervous. Shannon is all smiles and super quick. I had major scar tissue from having a piercing that ripped out 11 years ago and she was able to piece through it painlessly for me. I kept waiting for it to hurt and it never did. My friend said the same thing about her ears. I highly recommend seeing Shannon for your piercings. She's so good at what she does. I've had a few other piercings and usually I at least feel some kinda sting or pinch and I felt nothing with Shannon. Seriously amazing read more

Love these people! My friends and I have been going to this place since October of 2021 for piercings :) We all got our septums, and my friends have gotten snake bites, a labret, and nose bridge so far. Shannon is always really careful and precise and has a really cheerful attitude that makes it fun! They do quick and careful work that makes the piercing process a breeze. We'll probably continue coming back here for piercings and hopefully soon for tattoos too! The artists have their art all over the walls here, and they seem to be skilled in lots of different styles, from cartoony to realism, and abstract art too. Really colorful and expressive. I walk in to get my nose pierced and ended up leaving without a nose . What's sad is that they didn't even offer to buy me a new nose . What they did offer was a replacement nose (any animal of my choice ) but I didn't want it unless it was a real human nose . You see, what had happened was, Darryl messed up while piercing my nose and the whole nose fell off . I read other reviews about Darryl and how horrible he is but I didn't really pay attention because the decision to get a piercing was a pretty impulsive one . I had my nose pierced when I was 18. Did my strict mother approve ? No. Did I care ? Hell no. Did I end up taking it out ? Yes. Am I on my own now? Yes . Nowadays mama can't tell me nothin! so I decided to get my nose pierced again. I met Darryl at pho viet ( really good food and no, they did not pay me to mention them in this review ) Anyways, Darryl is a super cool guy! He mentioned he does piercings across the street and so I made an impulsive decision to go in and get it done . Darryl was professional and kept me calm by talking about mma and the deftones. Everyone here gives off such great vibes, I love coming here! I haven't gotten any tattoos, but Carrie has done all of my piercings and she's amazing! I never come with a backup plan, I always say "Carrie will tell me what's going to look good on me" and she delivers every time!!! She's funny, kind, and always makes sure you're feeling okay after before she lets you drive home! I've never had an adverse reaction to any of my previous piercings, but the last 2 (at the same time) I started to feel light headed, queasy, and sweaty. This was my very first time ever coming here I called today to make appointment I decided to get my tongue pierced first thing I noticed that this was a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very warm feeling the lady I spoke with was very nice and Shannon the lady who pierced me was very nice and made me feel very comfortable and explained Everything she was going to do before she did it she made me very comfortable as I was nervous to get my tongue pierced this is the 3rd time having my tongue pierced I told the girl the first guy pierced my tongue held it down with a paper towel and it was not even centered correctly she could not believe that the guy did that this was Definitely done correctly she started off with using a pen to make sure it was perfect on spot and than she used a clamp and told me to take a breath and let it out slowly it did not hurt that bad at all and before I knew it my bar bell was put in and I was all done she did advice me to use biotin for the next few weeks after every time I eat And so I made sure to pick some up after my appointment I highly recommend fallen Angel to anyone looking to get a tattoo or a body piercing the staff is very friendly and very helpful and make you feel very comfortable I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and more great experiences to come thank you Shannon very much for making my experience so great and comfortable I appreciate it thank you i appreciate you thank you again and I will see you very soon read more

I showed him a shoulder cap I had done in 1999 in Belfast Ireland that I wanted to get done for a long time. I explained what I had in mind and gave creative license to Boss Tom. 2x 5 hour sessions later and a magestic piece of art was on my left arm. At this point I have about 40 hours of tattoos with Boss Tom. He is fast and accurate and is a pleasure to work with. I was refused service due to the fact that I have a service animal by Barbara at the front two days ago. A tattoo parlor is not considered a sterile environment like an operating room, therefore people with service animals should be allowed to have them present. This place does not follow federal laws. Tattoo shops probably are really clean. So are dentists' offices and doctors' offices and many other places where service dogs are allowed. Being really clean does not make a place an operating room and does not mean service dogs are not allowed. Under the ADA, State and local governments, businesses, and nonprofit organizations that serve the public generally must allow service animals to accompany people with disabilities in all areas of the facility where the public is normally allowed to go. For example, in a hospital it would be inappropriate to exclude a service animal from areas such as patient rooms, clinics, cafeterias, or examination rooms. However, it may be appropriate to exclude a service animal from operating rooms or burn units where the animal's presence may compromise a sterile environment. A tattoo parlor is not a sterile environment like an operating room, you don't need to wear special clothes, only the equipment is sterile. I hope this place educates themselves so they don't break federal law again by discriminating against other customers with disabilities. My review is FOr Carrie, the female piercer. In the past she has pierced multiple parts of my body: lip, nose, tongue, belly button and ears. Every time I have come in she was professional and friendly and had answers to all of my questions. Today I went in and got my helix and my rook done (she taught me those names) and I had the most amazing experience. Not only did she make sure that I absolutely loved where they were all going, she went through a couple different sizes of studs before we decided which ones were perfect.. And she even gave me studs for the rest of my ear to match at no charge! In the middle of piercing my helix I began to feel a little lightheaded and she noticed immediately. She grabbed me water and a cold towel to put on my neck and gave me a lollipop (a bit unconventional, I know) and she waited until I was positively well enough to continue. She was so sweet, and so very good at what she does. I will never go to another piercing parlor again... Carrie is the best! If I could give 6 Stars, I would. She deserves them. read more

Got my septum piercing and my nostril piercing with Carrie and she's super nice and really good at what she does. I recommend her to other friends and they love her as well! I need to give a major shout out to the piercer here, Carrie. I first met Carrie about 4 years ago when I was having issues with a triple helix piercing I had gotten from anther piercer. I'd had them for 2 years and still weren't healing. I went in for help and I was desperate. Carrie gave me great advice and really helped me out. I've gotten several other piercings while so I can say with confidence and experience that she does an incredible job. She is very specific on what piercings are good for your anatomy.
