I have been wanting to get another tattoo for quite some time something with meaning and I have been eyeing a cross tattoo. I came here today to find out how much they would charge for my forearm of the tattoo that I desired one of the gentlemen working Flanders was able to get me in today at 5:30 PM. This is tattoo number five for me. I was nervous about getting the tattoo because they do hurt a little bit. This was a very quick smooth process he did a great job made me feel at ease. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. My cousin has had some of her tattoo work done at this location as well my first time here Very great establishment very friendly staff. All the people working here were super friendly and made me feel comfortable or even joking around making me laugh so it made the tattoo process go that much smoother without thinking about what was being done. The whole process took about an hour. I was really happy with how it turned out and I got a great deal tonight too this is the greatest establishment with great people. Twenty years ago, I made a promise that if the Philadelphia Eagles ever won the Super Bowl , I would get an Eagles tattoo. I have been a loyal fan of the team for 35 plus years, and honestly thought I would never see the day. Guess what, the Eagles did it this year, and my friends and family held me accountable. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly prepared to call a tattoo shop, make an appointment , and actually go through with it. A friend of mine showed me some of Kevin's work on Instagram, and recommended that I check things out for myself. I called Kevin the next day, and ask if I can come in to talk to him about what I envisioned. I was really nervous when I walked in. Wait- is that a needle? Kevin had a calm confidence about him that I found comforting. Any fears that I had walking in quickly vanished after talking to Kevin. As a result, I booked my appontment for Valentine's Day, and was actually starting to look forward to it. I showed up for my appointment eager to show my friends and family that I was a die hard Eagles fan , and that I could endure any pain for the love of my team. And then this happened...... Once the needle hit my skin, I knew I was in for a long evening! Holy S**t! I read online that a tattoo on the calf was supposed to be relatively painless. What? People actually like getting tattoos? Who in the hell thought this was a good idea? I am not ashamed to admit it, I was flopping around like a fish out of water. Poor Kevin! He had to wrestle my right leg while trying to maintain a steady hand to work on my left leg. I swear I almost kicked him in the face a few times. Truth be told, I may have shed a tear or two , and am pretty sure I cussed him out the entire time. Sorry about that Kevin! So originally I was planning on getting a tattoo at some parlor in Nevada city, due to inclement weather, Their power went out and that didn't end up happening. I also felt as if that shop charged out of the @$$ anyways. Kevin is absolutely amazing. He has done three of my five tattoos, and one he did a partial cover. I have been going to him for 7 years and I would not let anyone else give me a tattoo. Not to say the others at the shop aren't awesome but Kevin is my tat guy. His line work is amazing and how he can put everything you want together in such a beautiful way...its just...crazy! My two brothers and I came in to get sibling tattoos today. We all have multiple tattoos, but only one of us had been to this shop or been tattooed by Chris before. The boys had their tattoos done by Flanders and Chris did my tattoo. I was a little nervous; I love his work but he was a new artist for me and I'm a creature of habit. I didn't want him to think I was wimpy or anything. He was SO NICE, went out of his way to make sure I was positioned comfortably on the table, did amazing colors and line work, and it was as painless as getting a tattoo can be. The shop was super clean, the bathroom was clean and smelled fresh, both Chris and Flanders were extremely nice and funny. I feel super comfortable going back there for more work, without the brothers, even tho I'm fairly shy and introverted. My uncle came with us too and Flanders did a fantastic job on his tattoo. I made an appointment with Jacob. He was really nice. Easy to talk to. I gave him my design and he took time to draw it and put his station together. When he was ready he made sure I was comfortable and even gave me a bottle of water. He took his time and did a great job on my tattoo. I was so happy! It looks fantastic! Kevin is the owner/artist and I'll have to say that when I do get my first one, I'll be coming to see him! He's been at this location for 3 1/2 years and so far, has been very successful just by word of mouth and referrals.
