I called to book an appointment for myself and my significant other--pretty straightforward, right? He asked for our names and my phone number, which I gave him. Then he asked for my partner's phone number, and I said we use the same one. Apparently, that was where everything fell apart. He immediately got an attitude and refused to use the same number. I'm sorry... what? Since when is sharing a phone number a dealbreaker? Are landlines illegal now? Needless to say, I never even made it to booking the appointment. Business lost before I could even walk in the door... impressive. It's especially disappointing since I've worked with Bill and his wife through Wildlife before and had a great experience. Unfortunately, this time I couldn't even get past the phone call because of... a phone number. Sad! read more

I have been following Myke Figueroa's work at Wild Bill's for many years. Most of my tattoos have been done at Wild Bill's because I have seen and had quality work done here. My last two visits, Myke spent time doing a masterpiece I had envisioned. I was excited to allow Myke to do the vision I had in honor of my late father. Wild Bill's is located upstairs on Vernon Street. When you walk in, there is a waiting area with beautiful plants everywhere... I need a clipping, Bill!!! Maybe a few!!! After signing a waiver and showing your i.d., Myke brought me back, and he started designing my tattoo. After he got the artwork done, he got the ink and tattoo gun ready at his sterile station, gloved up, and started in. It felt great! I spent hours with him on my first session, and he was absolutely fun to talk to. I was comfortable with my feet up on a stool and very relaxed. Bill was there, and he was also fun to talk to! Everyone working there had a really great vibe! For my second session, Myke finished my tattoo! I feel like he went easy on me. He knew the spots where it would be sensitive, so he did periodically ask how I was doing. He wiped it down and wrapped it with clear adhesive bandages. He gave me the rundown directions on "how to take care of your tattoo while it's healing." He also gave me a card with directions for tattoo care in case I forgot. There was never a dull moment at Wild Bill's! I love seeing Bill's vacation pictures and still would love to know YOUR SECRET VACATION SPOT (but dammit, that's why it's a secret!)! This shop is amazing and fun to hang out in... might as well get tatted (or pierced!). It was full of jokes and laughter almost the entire time. Only thing that got me weirded out was when you (the owner) made me feel weird for wanting to be in the room... I think most regular guys would be weird about being kicked out the room where someone they love was in an compromise situation with another male.. my girlfriend also wanted breast implants, and the doctor had no problem with me being in the room while he did his examination. I would highlight more so that the fact that your irresponsible employee was an hour and a half late and after waiting that long, I was not going to make my girlfriend not get her piercings done because of my personal feeling.( I know you were a little out of it, but you may remember me saying babe let's go.) but after looking at her face like most men would with a bit of disappointment I felt forced into accepting a situation. I was not comfortable with that is why I walked out and made a comment on your social media, which you fail to recognize or address.. you can play off your state this and that but you've been around long enough to know there is exception to everything because when I was 15 years old as well getting my lip pierced in your establishment, my sister was standing right next to me, I will not diminish your experience nor diminish my previous experiences with your establishment, which have been good. We're discussing a specific situation where I had a female in a compromise position that you played off like a choice pervert, a pervert, looking for a situation where you can admire my girlfriend's tattoos and body modifications like the creep you are as you stated in your reply, my girlfriend is tatted from head to toe, and I'm sure you had a joy admiring all of that while I was in the other room'! First time here since are usual piercing place didn't allow septum and naval piercing for my 15 year old until 16. A bit intimidating walking in as you walk up a squeaky, old fashioned but carpeted flight of stairs. We came up to counter, not really greeted with a welcoming welcome but I was assisted immediately so its ok. My daughter's pierce artist was very professional, sweet and communicated. She was perky and very informative. She was training but didnt interfere with work. There is a vench in front of doorway so I could watch my daughter. NO photos or videos allowed at all.
