I came to eat at pasta party a few days ago after telling myself to visit for a long time now. I…read morestill remember the old deli that was there prior to this restaurant and I've seen numerous social media ads and posts about the place so I wanted to check it out. I think I was a little hesitant because in my head I was thinking how good could possibly really be? In my head spaghetti/pasta is something I can make it home and almost thought it a waste of money to go out of my way to go out specifically to eat this dish. I ordered the Arrabiata pasta with the sausage. I'll admit I was a little thrown off by added cost of each tolling and also added cost of the Arrabiata sauce and I also did wait until a fair amount before the food was ready for takeout. But the pasta really blew me away. I'm still thinking about how good it tasted. I would definitely come back and I actually wanna bring my dad who loves spicy pasta like this. It was really that good. I can't think of another place that has this level of pasta let alone this price. The only negative I would say in regards to one of the workers. The cashier was manned by wonderful woman who did every and all tasks from taking the orders to putting food items in the oven to answering the phone I'm probably much more than that. I don't know. In contrast there was an Asian man with a black shirt who was also working. He looked lost and completely helpless. There was a moment where this woman was so busy and there was a ringing that I assume was from either a phone call or a delivery order. This man did not offer to help more nor did he help from what I saw. He was utterly helpless and unhelpful. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the encouragement "Hey help your team out!" The woman on the other hand was doing so many things simultaneously and yet was really kind at the same time. Anyways, I'm giving my review of a five star because I wanna see this place succeed and I'll definitely come back .

It's basically $2-$3 off select dishes. We ended up ordering the chicken parm and the 12in short rib sandwich. Total was about $47 for both. Pretty pricey. The chicken parm barely had any pasta. We thought there'll be more pasta under the chicken, but sadly no. Short rib sandwich was dry and lacked flavor. We dipped it in the chicken parm sauce which made it better.

We shared the Dave Beard Sandwich - DELICIOUS! It came with a side of Cole slaw and a slice of honey dew. The sandwich was packed with turkey, ham, turkey bacon, sliced avocado, sliced raw jalapeños on a DELICIOUS toasted garlic bread. It also came with a side of mayo and mustard. The service is great (friendly, checked in on us, so genuine). This was our first visit. We definitely recommend, will return and please support amazing restaurants like Rutabegorz - Fullerton!

The vibes are artsy, chill, and very laid back, and while we have our regular spots there are no bad seats. Staff are always friendly here, and even though it's seat yourself and menus are on the table for you to take your time with, they're always checking in and willing to answer questions. Elizabeth has been our server on multiple occasions and is always attentive and quick to help or communicate, and always says hi even if she isn't the one working with us directly. Dinner rush is usually a bit earlier in the evening as they do see a lot of older clientele, but it typically varies based on weekday vs weekend and if there's a local event happening in downtown Fullerton. The patio is large with plentiful seating, a warm fireplace, dogs are allowed, and if there's live music happening at the museum down the street you can usually hear it. Our favorites are the nachos, killer chili, Leeky soup, and any of their salads. Price is a good value, especially considering the portion size, we can usually get at least two meals out of an entree. We love trying the new dollar dip flavor every month. Cookies are made in-house and very good, an easy and affordable treat to grab on the way out. We've brought vegan and vegetarian friends here and they can always find something to eat. Highly recommend as a place to come to when you want to sit and hang out for a bit to relax and have a good meal, whether alone or with a group.

My son and I both ordered seafood pastas. He and I both ordered the clams with linguine. He got the parma rosa sauce will I got the traditional wine sauce. The meal also came with a soup or salad. Since it was a hot day, we both picked salad. One of our favorite parts of the meal was the bread. Not sure if it was on purposes but the bread basket came with both thin slices and thick slices. And don't forget the garlic infused butter. So yumm! As for parking, the restaurant is in a small strip center and only a few stores were open when we arrived so there was plenty of parking.

The bread was not heavy as typical bread seemed as if it was the flour but lighter than normal. We ordered brushetta. The topping was a fair amount but the balsamic was a bit too sweet for me. We ordered chicken piccata came with angel hair pasta and good amount of capers with a lemon wedge. The pasta and chicken complimented each other well. The sauce seemed a light lemon flavor the fresh squeezed elevated the flavor. Great dish to order. It also came with soup or salad I chose minestrone but not to my liking way too much tomato taste for My taste buds. We also had a pizza it was mozzarella and basil, tomatoes (Margarite) good pizza the crust was hand tossed. Nice place to enjoy a meal not too loud but it was Monday.

24 straight hours at Disneyland, how can you go wrong?…read more The last time something like this happened was 25 years ago when Disneyland turned 25 and they stayed open for 25 straight hours. Special food options, special entertainment and of course stuff to buy! I got there midway through the afternoon, I had friends who lined up at 10pm the night before since they were giving special edition Mickey ears to the first 2000 people through the gate. They had 3000 people there before the gates even opened at 6am. When I arrived in the afternoon it was busy, but not overly busy. Later in the day it was a different story...they actually hit capacity a few times and closed on more than one occasion. From 930pm to 1am they wouldn't let anyone in at all. The lines got worse as the night wore on, at 4am the line for Space Mountain was 140 minutes long. BUT...if you were there, you didn't really care about riding any rides, you just wanted to be a part of history. I really hope Disneyland does something like this again...I would be one of the first people through the gates. :0)

After all, what better way to spend your extra day that only comes every four years at Disneyland? The problem was, everyone in their Mom was about to go balls-to-the-wall on this day as well. I know a few of my friends who stayed the entire 24 hours from 6AM on February 29th to 6AM on March 1st, and for them spending that long at Disneyland was probably worth it. However, the throngs of people I encountered when I attempted to walk through the happiest place on Earth was pretty difficult to endure. I went at night to do it for the story, and maybe stay a little bit their usual hours, but by by the time 11:30 rolled around, it was definitely not worth it. Literally, navigating down Main Street meant being sandwiched between strangers, nearly losing my friends and feeling like cattle. We only got to ride IJ with a wait of about 40 minutes, and that in itself was kind of a miracle because they had shut down the ride (unknown to us), and when they opened it up again, we nearly breezed through the maze. Next, we tried to check out Thunder Mountain Railroad but we found a 2 hour wait...say what? That was when my tiredness had gotten the best of me and I decided to get some ice cream and call it a day. When we left Dland was at capacity...that's like 75,000 people! No wonder the waiting times became sky high. While it was nice to be a part of Disney history, it definitely wasn't "as good as it gets", I'm not a fan, and it wasn't even just "A-OK". Sorry Walt but I've had better than becoming claustrophobic on Main Street.
