    Only $23!

One of my friends recommended this spot, and I really didn't know what to expect--but she hyped it up, it wasn't far, and I figured why not? I'm so glad I gave it a shot. For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!

Many selection of cake, bakery and drinks. They have wash hand station !! Owner was kind and friendly. Small table to sit place is clean.

Chinese bakery with vegan options. Haven't try the vegan options, maybe next time. Bread, cake, egg tarts, and drinks/tea. Typical Chinese bakery offers. Taste and texture is pretty average. There are not a lot of choices in the area so this will do. Because Chinese pastries usually use lard or shorting in the dough, vegan options are better healthier choices

I am a huge bakery fanatic. I've tried most bakeries in Atlanta and nothing has impressed me like Family Baking. I came right when they opened at 8:30am, so the pastries were still warm. I got the Japanese cream bun, coconut pandan bun, taro mochi bun, black tea, and matcha latte. The rest stars of the show were the Japanese cream bun and coconut pandan bun. I audibly said "wow" when I took a bite of each. Perfect amount of sweetness and super soft! The owners were so kind and I can tell they put a lot of love into their pastries. My husband's iced black tea hit the spot and you can tell that they use strong tea. My new favorite bakery spot!

Asian bakery with vegan options. We came here as we needed egg free cakes. Before placing our order, we bought some cake samples that are in the fridge. We tried the mango and the black forest. We enjoyed the mango over the black forest. The chocolate base was a bit chalky for us. They apparently also have green tea with red bean cake and tiramisu as vegan cake options. Staff is super friendly and helpful with my questions.

I found this place through Yelp (duh) and needed a sheet cake for my friend's wedding banquet. I called and the owners were SO NICE. They spent so long on the phone with me listening to my requests. I wanted to try the cake before we ordered the big one so I went as soon as I landed in Atlanta and picked up the cake. We tried it on the spot and got a thumbs up from me and the groom. I normally don't like cake, especially Chinese fruit cakes, but this one was incredible. The sponge cake was light and fluffy and the cream frosting was also light and fluffy. Nothing was overly sweet and the pudding layer in the middle added something very special to it. And of course, when I see baked goods, I couldn't help myself and bought a bunch of everything. The egg tarts are SO GOOD. But my favorite is definitely the mini Swiss rolls. THEY HAVE A CHARCOAL FLAVOR????? Everything I have gotten from here was absolutely delicious. I even forgot to pick up the cake on the night of the banquet (Saturday) and they were calling me to tell me to go pick up it. I had people coming up to me all night telling me how good the cake was. (There was a 4 layer wedding cake on Sunday and people told me they preferred the cake from Family Baking - that's how good it is)

Was not expecting much from this cute little bakery based on the area but boy was I wrong! Coming from an area where Asian baked goods are normally $4 or more for one small bakery item, it was really nice seeing almost every single packaged bread priced at $2.50 INCLUDING the vegan breads. I was so happy seeing they make lactose free goods since it's so hard finding Asian breads without milk. Everything I got there I ate within a few days span and it stayed fresh/soft. I've had it happen where I leave cream breads/super soft breads out and they either get super wet/squishy or hard and these didn't do that. If there was one in my area I would be going everyday. The shop was quiet and empty when we went in so the cashier was sitting on his phone but when we were ready to check out he was really nice. Highly recommend giving this place a shot if you're intrigued with Asian baked goods but haven't tried any, or in the area looking for a sweet treat with a good price.

Storefronts. Entrance is through Rolls Village.

Note: Family Baking and Rolls Village are related businesses. Family Baking is where the bakery kitchen operations of this business are located, and is for employees only. Rolls Village is where customers are allowed to shop for baked goods. We came to Family Baking/Rolls Village business on a Friday afternoon. This is an Asian bakery, where everything looks fresh and neatly packaged. Prices are very reasonable too. I was looking for something that was cream filled, so I asked the employee who was at the register for suggestions. The was very friendly and came from behind the counter to point out which ones had cream in them. I ended up selecting what looked like two small oblong bread loaves that were cut down the center where cream was squeezed into the cut. They were big buns. I chose two because I really couldn't decide whether or not I wanted vanilla butter cream or chocolate butter cream, and ended up getting one of each. Since this is an Asian bakery, I knew that the cream wouldn't be very sweet, and I was right. One more thing - the tops of these big buns looked like they had finely shredded coconut on it. The coconut was more for texture and less for flavor. Since I'm not that much into sweet things, these were perfect for me. The bread part of my dessert had just a slight hint of sweetness. The cream was also slightly sweetened, and it provided some smooth moisture to offset the dryness of the bun. The coconut added a small amount of crunch. R got a lemon custard bun. It looked very good. R said that it was just a basic bun with a slight lemon flavor and not much custard, as he had expected. Parking was easy to find when we went, and parking spaces in the long lot (parking is free) are directly in front of the store. There is very limited seating (one table with chairs) inside. The store is well lit and clean. There are a couple of refrigerators that have cold drinks and cakes in them. Customers wanting something to drink have a choice of coffee, espresso, teas (either hot or cold), milk teas, and other drinks. Good prices and friendly service. We will be back.

The space is open, airy, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the seating layout. There's actually room to breathe. You're not crammed next to other tables or accidentally overhearing your neighbor's entire life story. Some cafes feel packed like sardines, but Kin does it right. They even have a cozy living-room style seating area that adds to the relaxed vibe. There's also outdoor seating, which would be perfect on a beautiful day. The latte I ordered was divine- smooth, balanced, and perfectly crafted. As someone who loves good latte art, Kin's baristas absolutely deliver. We were served the most beautiful swan latte art, which made the experience even better. Totally brewtiful! Everyone in our group loved their drinks. One friend mentioned their strawberry matcha is amazing, so that's definitely on my list for my next visit. Another thing I loved: they showcase work from local artists that's displayed and available for purchase. Love, love, love when cafés support local creatives. They also offer a few pastry options that could pair nicely with your drink. Will have to try that next time My only wish? That they stayed open later because I could easily see myself hanging out here all the time. If you appreciate great coffee, good and chill vibes, and cafes that really know their craft, definitely check out Kin Coffee. They even roast their own beans, which makes it a true coffee lover's spot.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. Street parking Pork and chive dumplings - So the dumplings were really really good. I got them pan fried and they came out tender and yet crispy. The flavor was crazy, and the dumpling sauce was exceptionally good to me as well. I would 100% order these again. Chicken noodle soup - The soup was just okay. I had to do a little doctoring and I tried to get it where I needed to but it was decent but it was a little bit on the bland side. I ended up putting more of the wonton sauce in there to give it a little Tang and a little kick, as well as putting some chili oil in it as well. After that, it started working out pretty well. But on his own, it was decent but it wasn't good out of the box. Pork wonton with chili sauce - So this is kind of like my guilty pleasure. I love chili wontons. With this order you got a lot of them, and the sauce was on the plate and drizzle throughout the dumplings as well. Well so you got flavor at every turn. These were great! Szechuan spicy chicken - Pork soup dumplings - The soup dumplings were pretty good. To me. They weren't better than the chili wontons but they were still good and had a nice bit of flavor to them. The broth in them was tasty, but that kind of overtook meat inside. The broth was so flavorful that you didn't really, really know if you were eating chicken or pork or whatever. But nonetheless, it was still good and you got a nice bitter than for the order. I enjoyed the establishment. Their wontons are really nice sized and they are packed with flavor. I would not go back for the soup or the ramen bowl that they have but I would definitely go back to order five more orders of everything else lol.
