Prior to officiating my decision in partnering with FCL, I browsed a variety of other limousine businesses. Comparing factors such as price rates, varying experiences with Twin Peaks, and vehicle appearance. I was super adamant about incorporating Twin Peaks into my itinerary. So when inquiring, I made sure to select a business that had previous experience with the location to ensure safety for my guests and I. This was my first time booking a service for a friend of mine's birthday and I loved the entire experience!! Even prior to the special day, the team had always provided outstanding service in answering any questions I had. Efren was our driver for the night and he truly delivered the BESTTT experience. As this is my first time booking an experience like this, I was nervous at first. But of course, fortunately as a result, my guests and I felt nothing but safe and happy during our adventure with Efren. I am so lucky and grateful to have had him as our driver for the day! This is officially truly my favorite memory of 2024. In terms of the vehicle, I chose the stretch limousine 14. We were provided refreshments such as sodas, waters, as well as apple cider! The bluetooth feature was super easy to connect and the audio throughout the entire vehicle was top tier. In addition, the vehicle looked great. The vehicle state was clean and sanitary. Alongside pickup and drop-off, a glimpse of our itinerary included Fogo de Chao in San Jose. Twin Peaks, & Classic Bowling in Daly City. From 3pm to 11pm. My mom's funeral was on 12-30-2023 as sad as the day was Famous City Limousine made the day brighter. They were on time actually earlier than expected, and the driver was very polite. When searching for transportation for the groom and groomsmen for our wedding day, I felt absolutely overwhelmed as I've never booked a limo before. I used this service yesterday for my sisters quince and honestly was not what I had expected. Friendly service and was very helpful in helping me choose a limo. Our driver was super friendly and kind, also on time. However, after paying quite a large amount of money for a limo, you'd expect for us to be allowed to play our music. The Bluetooth setting wasn't working and we couldn't even play our music. I asked the driver if he had an extra usb cord and he said he didn't. yet he had one in the front. Ok? the radio wasn't working either. The limo itself was beautiful but the audio really ruined the experience. 5 stars to the staff and how the limo looked in the inside, but 2 stars of how the limo actually turned out. read more

I used Famous City Limo about 20 times from August 2006 to March 2007. One of my cats has cancer and I relied on their service to take us to and from her oncology appointments (chemo treatments, radiation, etc) in the East Bay. Famous City is owned by a very nice woman named Josie, who always answered the phone very promptly when I called and always had a sedan for me no matter what. One time she didn't have a driver available, so she drove me herself. If she didn't have a sedan available, she'd send a limo for the same price (and it's quite fun to show up at the vet in a limo! A few times I ordered the limo on purpose.) If she didn't have anything available, she'd contract out to a freelance limo service and every driver was courteous, friendly, helpful and showed up very early, and they always knew where they were going and how to get there. The main driver there is named Paul. I'd be at the vet for maybe a couple of hours and when I came out at some random time he'd usually be doing something like polishing the hubcaps. His driving isn't the smoothest, and he's been known to miss an exit on occasion...but he's very nice and like I said, they've always showed up early. All the drivers were great about either sitting there for an unknown period of time (could be half an hour, could be five hours) OR driving me to run errands, give me a tour of the area (um, not much to see in San Leandro, though) or take me into San Francisco for a few hours. I feel their pricing is very fair, you can probably find someone cheaper but they are just really good and fair...I never felt like they were trying to sneak on some extra time/money on my bill. They did overcharge me one time, but I didn't even notice until they corrected it themselves. That's the kind of service I want from a limo/sedan company. I also used them to take my mom from her hotel in San Francisco to the San Jose airport at some ungodly hour of the morning. Once again they were early, and when my mom finally got back from her trip she was all like "say hi to Paul for me!" Sadly, I'm not sure when I can do that because my bf now takes me to my cat's appointments...well, not sadly because I get to spend time with him and -sorry Paul- he's more fun to hang out with. read more

Famous city limousine is your family transportation need for all of your event throughout the year. I called up Rose 1 month to book my limousines for Christmas and she was amazing. On Wednesday December 25th Arvin my regular driver pick me up 15 minutes early pick up my family and help us put our Christmas present and food inside the limo. He also made sure that everything was ok with us throughout the entire ride. Arvin put fresh juice water and apple cider for the kids to enjoy during the ride. Arvin got to my family destination on time and open the door for my family VIP all the way until our service is over and took my family home safe and sound. read more

I needed a limo service to tour my in laws and family around San Francisco. It was a last minute thing and I was afraid I would not get any reservations on such quick notice. I spoke with Rose who was kind, courteous and very accommodating. We were scheduled to be picked up the next day. They came promptly on time. The chauffeur was with his assistant who promptly opened the door for us and assisted us in installing the 2 car seats for my kids. Facial masks and hand sanitizers were present in the limo with complimentary champagne (A touch of class!) the limo was very clean and properly sanitized prior to our entry. Very convenient and a feeling of comfort and luxury. Our first stop was in pier 39. The assistant was immediate to open the doors for my in laws and assisted my kids out. We stayed approximately an hour in pier 39. We called them to pick us up and at the location we were dropped off within 10 minutes. Our next stop was in twin peaks, the chauffeur and her assistant was very accommodating and assisted us in taking pictures. We stayed for quite a while when we decided to return back to our hotel. Pricing was very fair and hopefully i did justice to the chauffeur and her assistant with a generous tip. Whenever I am in san francisco or within the bay. Not only was Famous City Limousines cheaper than the 5 other limo companies I called by $400, but they were on time, provided free champagne in each limo, nice and even went over our time for us by 15 minutes without charging us. My only complaint was that when we weren't ready to leave in the beginning they gave us a bit of a hard time. To me it shouldn't have mattered because we were paying for the time either way, even if we didn't go anywhere. Also one limo of the two had champagne, water and hard liquor while the other only had champagne which when you have 15 people causes chaos as everyone scrambles to get into the limo with the extra booze. I took 10 family members on an overnight Indian casino trip for my mother's 80th birthday. Talked to Josie, the owner, who quoted me $1,200 for the trip. When we discussed final details of the trip, the pick up times etc., I informed her that we had two, legally licensed service dogs for the disabled, with us. Josie told me that although she did not want to "discriminate", she didn't want any dogs in her limo. I told her both dogs were 5 lb "lap dogs", that were official service dogs, but she refused saying that they might pee in her limo. I offered a $1,000 cash security deposit and assured her the service dogs were highly trained and completely housebroken. She later ignored my calls, messages, and emails. When I finally was able to contact her, she said "ok ok,, but the price will be $1,600"!! It is actually illegal to refuse or charge extra for a licensed service dog. So, if your handicapped and require the assistance of a service dog, expect to be ripped off by Josie!! read more

I've been using Herman/driver for over 8+ years now. Famous City Limo has competitive rates and always arrives on time. I'm an Executive Assistant for a C-Level executive, and have used their services throughout the many companies I have worked for in San Francisco.
