    Half missing steak from porterhouse

I placed a pickup order on 7/19 around 3:50 PM. When I got home, I found my Porterhouse steak (~$40) was cut and roughly half the meat was missing from the order. I called the restaurant to resolve this, and the manager on duty insisted he personally watched the steak being prepared and that it was never cut and nothing was missing. When I said I'd bring it back to show him, he became argumentative, repeatedly said his staff did nothing wrong, and refused to make it right. When I asked for his name, he gave me "Brian." I have reason to believe this wasn't accurate. I've been a returning customer, and this order was for my birthday. I'm disappointed both by the missing food and by how dismissively I was treated when trying to resolve it. I'd appreciate a resolution and would like this manager's conduct reviewed.

Haven't been here in quite a while but so glad we did. They specialize in Steaks & they do it well ! We shared a 22 oz Porterhouse, perfectly done medium as we requested. We each had a nice salad ,my husband had a loaded baked potato ( bacon, cheese, sour cream & topped with green onions - sooo yummy ! ) I ordered French fries which were some of the best fries I've had. Nicely seasoned, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside . We had margaritas which were okay but for $6, we ordered seconds . They give you a warm loaf of bread with whipped butter - no charge. One of the few establishments that do not charge for bread Service was very attentive and the food came out fast. The restaurant was almost fully occupied but it wasn't loud. Great food and excellent value! We plan to go back & try the ribs !

Great place for a casual family steak dinner. The steak is always good so are most of the food we ordered. Good value. Standard American steakhouse interior, sometimes the booths are not very clean. The service can be inconsistent but never bad. This time the glitch was with the bartender, he didn't understand when the waiter put in the manhattan cocktail need to be made with a specific bourbon. And came down with 2 drinks & seemed a little irritated. Not a cohesive work relationship revealed right there. Looked certain employees might need some reminders or retraining . Overall. We are satisfied with longhorn, and will return.

I've been here a couple of times and had a great experience both times. I was influenced to come in and try all of their Parmesan crusted dishes and across my two trips I tried all of them. I have to say the Parmesan crusted chicken is my favorite. The service was great both times, my waiters were personable and gave great recommendations. The ambience of the restaurant was nice it gives family vibes.

Longhorn is a good steakhouse if you want something on a pinch. The quality of steaks has drastically dwindled down so I tend to not choose this as my first choice. This establishment was perfect after a day of shopping in the area and needed something to eat. Pros: Convenience, No Waiting(this day), Very Clean, Friendly Hostess, Great Bartender Cons: wings weren't cooked correctly had to send them back, Kitchen was slow (wasn't crowded so not sure why it took 25 minutes to get a salad) , bread was ok (I live Texas bread) My steak(NY Strip) was cooked perfectly-wasn't dry(although I asked for the mushrooms that never showed up) I was still able to eat it. Cooked medium well as requested, sweet potato wasn't cooked all the way. The Ribeye was horrible. They overcooked it- no seasoning at all was in there and I couldn't understand that as I'm almost sure they were done on the same grill as the NY Strip. The plus side of this night was our waiter noticed the Ribeye wasn't touched and asked if we wanted something different. I appreciated that. We were offered a dessert but by that time I was full from my good food and ready to go home. Did I mention the wait time was a problem? Maybe today was just a bad day for them, will attempt to go back and see if things are different and update the review.

First time at Longhorn Steakhouse! Got the 12oz ribeye and the cheeseburger with bacon. Ribeye was really tender and seasoned well. The loaded baked potato was filled a decent amount. We asked for the cheeseburger medium well but it came out more well done. Jeff, our waiter, came by and took it back really quickly. He recommended we order the new one medium which came out much more to our liking. I would've preferred the broccoli to be a bit softer but it was still good. Shemmy, the manager-in-training came by to check in with us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. He even helped clear the table. We had tiny flies around the table while we were eating and it was also very cold in our section making the dining experience a bit unpleasant.

I haven't been to Longhorn in a while, but we had a gift card so my husband and I decided to go again and see what's up! We went on a Saturday night and didn't make a reservation but we were seated immediately. Our server Megan was super sweet and helpful and recommended a few things for us to try. She kept our drinks refreshed and our bellies full! We loved the complimentary bread and butter. I ordered the tomato glazed shrimp with a side Caesar salad, rice pilaf, and a cup of the baked potato soup. Everything was absolutely incredible! I hadn't been to Longhorn in a long time, but I didn't remember the food being that outstanding. Maybe whatever I ordered the time before this wasn't as good, but this order was so delicious that we're already planning to come back with friends. I also got a peach iced tea, which was so refreshing! My husband ordered the hamburger with a side of veggies. He said it was good and he'd order it again, but that he'll probably get my shrimp dish next time.

1.12.24 I haven't been here in a few years and I didn't remember how good their steaks are. I ordered a medium-rare ribeye with a caesar salad and mashed potatoes. The ribeye seasoning was perfection. Normally I need to have sauce with my steaks, but it was so flavorful it wasn't needed. I asked for it cooked medium rare, but it was a little too rare for me. Next time I will ask for it to be cooked medium. Caesar salad and mashed potatoes were good, but the portion for potatoes were on the smaller side. I also love the complimentary honey wheat bread. I should have asked for another loaf to go. Lol. For dessert, my hubby and I split the Molten Lava Cake. He thought it was fairly substantial. It was very rich and decadent. It could have used more vanilla ice cream or added whipped cream. There was a sign at our table saying that checkout could be done via mobile pay by scanning the QR code. However, it did not work and our server said it could be due to wi-fi connectivity. He was busy and hustling at the bar so that's why we tried to take care of it. They offer a lunch menu M-S and have a take -out area by the bar. I definitely need to come back more often for their steaks. Yum!

Oddly enough, it was pretty quiet, but they do have the games on for anyone looking for a low-key spot to watch. We were seated within 5 minutes, which I appreciated. Our server, Patrick, was... okay. Not terrible, but definitely felt new to serving. We didn't get the rundown of the daily specials (yet overheard them being given to the booth behind us), and a few small service details slipped through--but I'm giving him grace based on his newness. One thing I noticed from Yelp reviews is that bread is usually served automatically. We had to request it, especially after seeing tables seated after us get theirs first. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. We ordered several appetizers, and honestly, they were filling enough to be a full meal: * Ribs - Flavorful, tender, and genuinely falling off the bone. The portion sizes were a bit inconsistent--some pieces were cut shorter than others--but the texture was on point. I'd definitely return for these. * Brussels Sprouts - Patrick didn't mention they were shareable, which would've been helpful. I did like the flavor, but in hindsight I'm glad we pivoted to... * Crab Dip - This one missed for me. The flavor leaned more tuna-ish than crab-forward. Not my preference, but you may feel differently. * Shrimp in Spicy Butter - Definitely spicy, but somehow still flavorless. More like spicy water than a seasoned butter sauce. The one bonus? They were served piping hot--exactly how I like my food. * French Fries - Hand-cut and tasty. A solid win. Unfortunately, everything except the shrimp came out lukewarm, which took away from dishes that could've been great. Temperature matters! On the drink side, though? Hits all around. The fresh-pressed beet juice was fantastic, and the sweet tea was also on point. We skipped dessert only because we were full, but I'm already planning to come back specifically to try it--along with the ribs and fries again. Overall, I'm hoping this was just an off day. Elliott's Kitchen has potential, and I'd like to see it shine on the next visit

But the taste is what really matters and Grilled Sesame Salmon didn't disappoint. Wow!! I thought British food was supposed to be flavorless. The Salmon was both sweet and spicy with the teriyaki bang-bang glaze. The jasmine rice cakes added the perfect amount of crunch and the vegetables were as fresh as they appeared. The pub side of the restaurant feels British with ornate wooden features and sounds of laughter from all around. The bartender are knowledgeable and engaging. Most importantly they made me a proper Makers Mark Manhattan filled to the absolute top of glass to top off an outstanding dinner.

I'm breaking my own rules, because I feel the 3.9 rating is pretty accurate, with one 5 star + exception. This was a business lunch and a convenient location so there we were. The duck fries as an appetizer were good but needed to be seasoned with a little more salt. I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! It was the kind of perfection we all agreed we would have eaten 5, maybe 6 of these unnaturally awesome sandwiches until we passed out! 3.5 Star service, 4 Star ambience, and some 10 Star bites! We continue to return because we genuinely like the food, but good food alone can only carry a restaurant so far. The service issues need to be taken seriously and improved.
