Chopped pork sandwich was more like a slider. Tiny portion of pork and coleslaw. My wife and son liked their rib dinners.

It was a awfully long wait. They took ages to seat us. We were starving because the food was taking so long.

There are also chicken tenders (3) as an option. The sides are fries, cooked greens, baked beans, mac and cheese and salads (chef, side and fruit). Cornbread...if i could buy extra pieces I would. The mac and cheese is good. We enjoy the beans and greens on a good day but the seasoning has been inconsistent. Outdoor dining, food served cafeteria style. A solid choice.

This was not my first place I wanted to eat, but my child wanted to get the limited Halloween item,…read moreso we ended up here instead. She got the candy apple pulled pork, which she really enjoyed. It was good, it did have a fun candy apple taste, so she was happy. As for myself, I got the brisket, which was a tiny potion and very fatty. I also had the mac and cheese, which was super cold and very mediocre. The corn bread was fine. The prices were super high for a tiny amount of food. The chicken tenders where actually the best thing here, so crunchy and a nice flavor, which I had chosen that instead. The other star of the show was the honey mustard, which was just from a huge vat, some name brand, not sure, but apparently did not need refrigeration? Still, the brisket was very tasty with it. Would I be back, probably not for myself, but my child would return. I would like to try other places.

The place radiates friendliness and you truly feel like a regular when you walk in, warmly greeted right away and taken care of the entire duration of your meal. My family had returned after a long day of theme park food and I needed something lite - and their seasonal salad was just what I needed. It was a very generous portion with some of my the sweetest strawberries I've ever had with candied walnuts, feta cheese, and a delicious vinaigrette to go along with it. Skip the theme park dining when you can - or at the very least, supplement it with this delicious cuisine and friendly service.

Our first night in Sandusky landed us in this small tavern right across Lake Erie…read more Very casual vibe and everyone was very accommodating but seemed overwhelmed. For an appetizer, we ordered the wedge salad and the Buffalo Chicken dip. I got the perch dinner for my main course. The kid got a chicken sandwich and my wife got the brisket Mac n cheese. They said that the kitchen was backed up. Honestly, it was totally not an issue. We were just relaxing, watching the game and chilling after a 7 hour drive from NJ. What was an issue was...... appetizers came out exactly the and time as the main courses. WHY????????? It couldn't have taken that long to throw blue cheese, bacon and tomatoes on a chunk of lettuce and pump out the Buffalo Chicken dip and then worry about the main courses later. Now we have to decide, do we want to eat the entrees or even touch the appetizers. That alone always ruins everything. Food was very good. Like I said, people were very nice but you just can't bring everything out at once. Defeats the point of "starting" with something.

This is a super cool public market hall in downtown Sandusky with maybe 15ish (just a guess) local businesses like a bakery, bowling alley, axe throwing game space, ice cream shop and boutiques. This is a cool place to spend an hour or two just browsing and supporting local while grabbing some dessert. The building has some type of history to it which I was unable to readily find online (boo, that is so odd). But the history is paid homage in the design of this space, with old timey photos of Sandusky and Cedar Point blown up on the walls and little stories to accompany them. The design is actually brilliant. It's a cool mixture of old school heritage meets modern rustic vibes. It makes you want to stop and look. The businesses in this building are open during the pandemic, just make sure to check with each business directly before visiting as most of the hours are likely changed. I stopped by here extremely quickly (I do not go out much during the pandemic) to pick up some pre-paid birthday treats from Bake Erie. It has a spacious, accessible parking lot and is just a joy to browse. Check it out for yourself, than continue exploring the surrounding area of local businesses... and Lake Erie :)
