Walked in and they try to sit us in the bar... we are not 21. Then the manager gets angry because we are under age and tells us we can't sit there. I try to order some chicken strips... they are out. so i tried to order fried pickles... out too. but then my friends get pickles with their meals ‍ so switched just got some mac and cheese. i get this mac and cheese and it is absolutely disgusting. also this whole time, its been my birthday. TURNS OUT they don't do anything for birthdays either DO NOT RECOMMEND. #worstbirthdayever!

Famous Dave's was great! My family and I were in town visiting and a relative suggested that we try Famous Dave's. We ordered the Signature Sampler Platter as our appetizer and it didn't disappoint. My favorite part of the platter were the ribs. They were cooked so perfectly that the meat was falling off of the bone. The different sauces made it exciting to eat since we were dipping everything on the platter into all the different sauces, trying to pick our favorite! I ordered the ribeye steak with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak had a great smoky taste to it, however, I didn't care so much for the fried onions that were under the steak. I wound up just pushing them off to the side. The broccoli was a little bland and could have used more seasoning, but had a nice freshness to them. I didn't care for the potatoes too much because there was way too much butter in them. The others in my party ordered a burger and sandwich and said that they were both delicious and wouldn't critique anything about them. My children LOVED their food, especially the corn! One of my children, who can be quite a picky eater, said that the corn was the best he had ever eaten. Overall, the food was great and the service was fantastic! I'm sorry to say that I do not remember our waitress' name, however, she was outstanding with making sure that we were enjoying our dining experience.

Country-Roasted chicken, Texas Beef Brisket, St. Louis-Style Spareribs, Sweet Corn, Creamy Coleslaw, Wilbur Beans, cornbread muffin.

We got take out that's why the food is on our plate. The food was amazing! Allllll had amazing flavor. The brisket was sooo tender and juicy, the ribs had amazing flavor and also very tender, the chicken was so flavorful and juicy as well! The sides were amazing, I like my slaw a little on the sweeter side but this was still good. The service was outstanding I really appreciate the man in carry out who helped us. Very polite and friendly. Atmosphere was great the short time we were in there picking up our food. I definitely recommend!!

The bar section is somewhat trendy, but with a green backlight that is more or less distracting and unnecessary.towards the entry there is gambling for some reason (slot machines and a table for what looks to be black Jack or poker). On the other side of the gas fireplace there is a dining room. I've never tried their food, but their cocktails are delightful. They offer a variety of classic and signature cocktails as well as beer and wine. You can see the bar is full stocked with all sorts of whiskeys and other spirits The service was mid. Our server was pleasant, but our drink order took at least 15-20min. I know some of these cocktails take a while as they are artisanal, but I watched her pour a beer for our table and set it to the side while she worked on cocktails for 10min letting the beer warm up. Also, the cocktail menu listed all the prices, and someone in our party ordered an older fashion for $10, and when the check came he was charged a double ($22). We reported the mistake and were told that the menu hasn't been updated with prices, which is completely ridiculous. If this were the case they should have told us when we ordered Some tips: This place is an ideal happy hour spot to unwind with friends of coworkers. It wouldn't be a terrible date night spot as well. The blueberry margarita is actually phenomenal. I with there was a little more alcohol to balance the sweet, but it's still tasty Cheers!!

Service was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Maybe the best part was the three painted and decorated cow sculptures out front. They reminded of several years back when decorated pigs were sprinkled throughout downtown Seattle. We came here for a late lunch, but noticed that they had a Sunday buffet for $18.95 that goes until 2pm. You can't beat that price for a buffet. So our table ordered cheeseburgers, biscuits and gravy, the all-you-can-eat salad bar, walleye salmon and the hamburger steak dinner. A note about the walleye salmon. This fish is actually a perch and exists in local water bodies around here. Everything was very good with the possible exception of the gravy on the biscuits. My nephew noted that something tasted weird in the gravy. I suspected it was nutmeg that my nephew was tasting. I sampled the gravy, and sure enough, it had been strongly spiced with nutmeg. Also, the walleye salmon (perch) had a bit of a fishy flavor, though the sandwich it came in was fine otherwise. I though the fish portion looked a bit svelte. The hamburger steak dinner, which included the onions & mushroom add-on was excellent. The brown gravy was delicious. We'd definitely come back.

I knew we were in trouble when my boyfriend and I arrived before the rest of our party and the restaurant was packed. There was a section closed off and I crossed my fingers that it had been reserved for us, but alas... upon arrival, the host of our party told us that Dakota Farms doesn't take reservations and that we were just going to have to fill in tables as they became available. I knew from reading the reviews on yelp that this was going to be a sh!tshow, but re-entered the restaurant with at least 20 other people, who began rearranging tables so we could sit as together as possible. The waitresses kept yelling at us for blocking the path from the kitchen to the dining room, but when you're dealing with so many people, but no one from the staff actually wants to help... we should have taken our business elsewhere, but, ya know... it's hard to sit back and watch a situation get out of hand when you're not anywhere near in charge... We all get seated, orders taken, and then proceed to wait an hour and a half for our food. Yes, like I said, there were a lot of us, but the menu is one side of a legal size piece of paper. It's not like they're the Cheesecake Factory.. and most of the food was breakfast. Seriously, any mom can bust out egg breakfasts with fried meat and toast for a crew in no time. I ordered a chicken club sandwich and they must have dropped my chicken patty in the oil as soon as I ordered it because it was like the sole of an old boot, but with less flavor. Due to my disability, I have to cut up my sandwiches to get them into my mouth, and I had to ask my boyfriend to cut my sandwich because all my sawing effort could not make my butter knife cut through that chicken. He could barely accomplish that task. Then there was absolutely no condiments on the sandwich, which was supposed to have mayo, so it was as dry as the desert. I couldn't eat it. The boyfriend had the French dip, with chips. Don't know why he orders chips. He never eats them. The sandwich was okay. Nothing to write home about... yet here I am writing about it to warn you that the only reason it's edible is because of the bowl of jus. Our newfound neice had a breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, hash browns, meat and toast. Shes 15 and ate it all, with ketchup and jelly and a glass of mountain dew and a cup of coffee that was half sugar. Our newfound auntie had some decent french toast. I cant tell you what everyone else had, cuz we were still scattered across the dining room. Though some people did yell from table to table. However, i think it was my trip to the bathroom that sums up the whole experience. The busted state of the toilet says it all. The owner of this establishment clearly doesn't care about the quality of anything. They know that most of the customers are out of towners and that they'll never be back again so there's no reason to try to win anyone over. Avoid this place unless you feel like you need to be punished for your transgressions. Would not recommend
