We had an additional 25% off clearance coupon and she wasn't able to figure it out even though there was a sign and I gave her my email with the code. On my account I had another available coupon offer of 20% off of $50 purchase. My purchase was $110. However the lady decided to use the 25% off clearance item instead of the other discount which would've saved me more money. had a really pleasant experience. The only worker there was great she was super attentive, walking around asking if anyone needed help or was looking for something specific. She even let customers know there was a 20% off online only deal that day and encouraged us to use the app if we wanted to take advantage of it. There were quite a few good clearance items, and although the main display shoes were a little pricey, that's to be expected for name brands. I really appreciate that they honor a 10% military discount, every bit of savings helps! Online they ask for name, branch, date of end service if you're a veteran and email took 20 seconds to confirm and the discount displayed. As for in store just show your VA ID and you're on your way to saving a little. We ended up grabbing two pairs for the kiddos: Classic Converse low tops and all-black Pumas. Unfortunately, the Pumas ran a bit small (I forgot how narrow they can be), so we'll be back tomorrow to exchange for a slightly bigger size. I noticed online there's mention of a $7+ restocking fee-hopefully that doesn't apply since this was just a sizing issue. Overall, the visit was great! I went in there to buy my daughter athletic shoes when I went to check out at the counter, one clerk, who is standing more than 12 feet away from the counter, is shouting to the one that is at the register. She is loudly complaining about another customer while we are getting checked out. She did not even stop so that the cashier could speak to and continued to do so as our transaction was completed. It was like we weren't even there. The first rule of customer service is the customer is always right, but also you don't complain about other customers in front of the current one. You don't have personal conversations in front of customers. The customer comes first and your personal issues should be kept separate. They obviously don't need our business and I will not be returning ever again. Not to mention their stock sucks, if I wasn't in a crunch, I wouldn't have gone there at all. and in case corporate is reading this I went on April 22 at 3:39 PM. This location does not represent Famous Footwear well. I`ve been here a couple of times in the past and the experience has been fine, but today I literally left the store after being in line for what felt like ages and I ordered my shoes online. No instant gratification, but I saved my sanity. First of all(I know, I know..when someone says this, they may or may not be following with something ridiculous), they were super lackadaisical about opening on time. There were a few people waiting outside in the heat and the woman opening the door seemed to be uninterested in letting us in. No greeting, no friendliness. Okay, I get it: it is hot, it is early(I guess? They open at 10 a.m.) and there is still a global pandemic and maybe you don`t like working at Famous Footwear, but I try really hard to be friendly and it is a bit of a bummer when you enter a store and the employees act like you are bothering them. Sorry that I am trying to patron your store and keep it going, ma'am! Anyway *clap clap*. After browsing a bit, I found two pairs of shoes I intended on purchasing. To be fair, another employee eventually did acknowledge my existence and ask me if I was finding everything okay, but again, seemed irritated to ask and I heard her just sort of halfheartedly walk around and ask everyone the same thing on a loop. I noticed the store was getting pretty full with people without masks and who were not trying to social distance at all(that is another rant for another platform, though), so I was ready to get out of there ASAP. I headed towards the checkout and noticed there were about 8-10 people in line. No big deal. One lady was working one register and there were two other employees just sort of standing around. The woman behind me in line asked one of the employees if there was only one register right now, to which she replied "Yes", and walked away promptly. I told myself I would give it 10-15 minutes more and see how the line was moving, but to be honest, y'all: I was hot in the mask, I was over people almost running me over in the store, and I had less patience than usual.After noticing the super slow pace that everything was moving, I decided to jump ship. I typically come here with my daughter to look for shoes. We usually buy either nike or under armour. This store has a large selection of both brands. Upon walking into the store, the one girl that was in the store greeted us very friendly. She helped take my daughter shoe size and recommend certain brands to us based on her shoe size. There is a restroom at this location as well. The store was clean and all of the shoes seemed properly taken care of. We never opened up a box with a missing shoe or wrong shoe size.. my only two complaints is that they didnt carry all sizes of shoes in the store and the price is somewhat high compared to other shoe stores online. read more

Man where is the ZERO selection at? I went to famous footwear to find my wife some Nikes and to exchange some flip-flops for a bigger size that were bought for me as a gift. When I got in the store the guy at the counter assisted me to the area they told me he didn't carry the sandal so I advised him I was just going to do an exchange I wanted to look at some Nikes so I started to look as I was looking a Hispanic woman walked close to me and I took my headset off and said hi and she asked me if I needed any help. I replied no thank you I appreciate it I know what I'm looking for so then I carried on then I happen to feel someone staring at me so as I picked my head up there she was eyeballing me and I politely looked at her and said don't do that I'm not here to steal I don't steal is no need to follow me around she stated that's not what I'm doing I'm just seeing if you need help and I said you've already asked me that less than five minutes ago and I walked off to a totally different area and then I noticed she was still walking near me so I went to the front and asked the guy at the counter a question about the clearance rack and the buy one get one and he told me all of the BOGO was in the back corner. So I proceeded to the back clearance rack. The guy from the front counter came to the back to let me know about the Bogo and that anything that had the sticker on it and he advised me it's throughout the store not just the back corner so I appreciate him for coming to let me know that error. So I headed to the front to look at the Nikes for my wife and sure enough I turn around and I see the person peaking so I walked out the aisle and I laughed as I walked past her and I said this is sad and I took my stuff and walked another way and was about to continue shopping and then I realize I know my worth I know who I am I don't give money to companies who allow people to be like this it's 2021 seriously? So once I was done explaining she had no empathy or sympathy she wrote the store number down on a paper and I decided to just go look for a shoe and do a return and another young lady skinny with long hair was very helpful and she ordered me some shoes online to come to my house. So then the manager lady did the transaction and I paid the difference and she gave me the receipt with the customer service information on it to call and she made a funny remark saying I'm gonna call and yell at them now and I told her that's unnecessary they don't need to be yelled at but that is uncalled for and sad. So when I got the phone number from her and I got to the car I called just to find out that the customer service is closed due to Covid and I just feel like if you're a manager Cove it has been going on for a while almost a year you should know that the customer service is closed but like I said there was no sympathy no empathy There was nothing and it's unfortunate my wife wants about four pair of the shoes the women's Nike court vision because this company only sells her size since her feet are small and I've been contemplating for days now going to purchase them for her because I do not feel the need to provide my money to a company that allows this such nonsense for what? I placed an order online to pick up in the morning. The store is supposed to open at 10 am. I understand that sometimes you might be busy completing tasks prior to opening and the time might fly by, however, at 10:05 am the store was still not opened and I was now standing outside waiting with a baby and a child. The associate offered no apology for having us wait which leads me to believe this store rarely opens its doors on time. I asked the associate if my order was ready and they mentioned they are given two hours to fill orders. What this says to me is this certain associate does not feel the need to be prepared prior to opening their doors. I then decided to cancel the order and shop for myself. I Called the centennial hills location for help locating a specific shoe and later went in and was met by 2 young ladies that acted as if my simple questions and request for help were a huge burden. They acted "put out" and bothered by me. RUDE!! Only redeeming factor in the store was the young man at the register I could tell seemed new only due to the fact that his attitude was much more welcoming as we entered the store he was friendly. Wow, the customer service here is terrible. Starting with the floor supervisor (older short lady with glasses). Initially asked for socks or nylons to try on shoes and she says in a rude way that they're on the top of the stations (which aren't obvious btw). Then I'm waiting in line, the next one up and the cashier is helping out a family bc they're taking quite some time trying to decide on crocs buttons, so I'm looking around and the floor supervisor keeps pacing around not doing anything, mind you there's also another employee on the floor but they don't seem to be doing anything but pacing around? The supervisor comes up front a few times too and literally just walking not even interacting with people... just doing nothing, probably could've wrong me up after noticing me waiting for a bit but whatever. Anyway, after about 10-15 mins waiting in line, finally my turn, the young guy rings up my shoes, and one shows for about $13 more than what the "half off price should've been" based off of the price shown in the bay. Keep in mind the tag shows the price, says black and white shoe and the shoe I got was the floor one sitting right above this tag with all of the same stock of the shoe that I got below it so why wouldn't I think it was the right shoe. So I bring him over and of course the rude supervisor is saying "you know the different colors are different prices" obviously I know that lady but this shoe and tag showed it on sale. Well, we get there and they said it's a diff code and that the stickers weren't printed out for the the shoe I got and that the tag is in the wrong place on their bay. So basically their shoes, sample shoe on bay and the wrong tag were all in the incorrect place. Very misleading. Then we get back to the register and the lady is just loud and rude telling the cashier they need to remove all the tags because they won't print. Sounds like an operations issue. 0/10 customer service, specifically for the supervisor- please get a friendly and professional person- just such an unnecessary attitude and communication style. I love the deals that this company offers such as BOGO1/2 off but I dont go to this location often because they never really have my size. I normally have to shop at the kid section which is fine since kids shoes are a little bit cheaper. Customer service is good for the most part. They greet you when you walk in and they have workers walking around to make sure that customers are getting the help they need. The only time I've had issues with customer service was when I dealt with Sylvia, I believe she's the store manager. I wanted to buy these boots and she was just giving me a hard time about it asking if i tried it on. I did try it on and she goes "are you sure?". Also, she was telling customers that they had to be a member of the rewards program in order to get the 15% off coupon which doesn't make sense since it was posted on the website for everyone to see. This is THE WORST company EVER, not store specific. Went in on June 5, 2020 to purchase 4 pairs of shoes for a trip. I spent over $200. They did not have 1 pair in my size but said they will order it and send it to my house within 5-7 days. Well they never showed up, so I drove 45 minutes across town to pick up the same pair....now I have spent almost $300 in shoes. I received an email from FedEx saying the shipment was damaged and they aren't delivering it. So I called the store only to be told I have to deal directly with FedEx. I filed a claim with FedEx only to be told that the company is the only one that can file a claim. I called the store corporate headquarters only to be told that since I paid with Debit card it will take 10 WEEKS for them to MAIL me a CHECK (like it's 1980 or something!). They offered me a store credit...like I would ever shop their again knowing that if there is a problem you can't get your money. If you HAVE TO shop here...use a credit card and dispute charges or you will never get your money back!! read more

I wish I could remember the ladies name from last night April 12. I was there shopping during their sale and I ended up blacking out, passing out in line. A family and the associate ran over to help. I was give oranges, Snapple & a water. An associate tried everything in her power to get the paramedics to get here as fast as they could. As I was getting my vitals checked she was by my side the ENTIRE time. She was playing mom, which I'm so thankful for. I was told I was not allowed to drive back home and she even offered to pay for an Uber home. Best customer service! She told me that they were having a sale buy 1 and get the second pair half off on all clearance items. I didn't think I'd find anything good in clearance but I took a look. I was surprised at how many nice tennis shoes they had on clearance. I planned on buying 2 pairs and ended up grabbing 6. Maria checked me out and I must say her customer service is top notch. Don't think I've ever been more racially profiled in my life. I needed some supportive shoes for a vending event I was working. Walked in, everyone was polite and asked if I needed help, I told them no thanks and that I was just looking. I go to the right side of the store where the women's shoes are. The guy (Max) that asked me if I need any help was just standing there leaning on one of the shelves...eyed my a little bit, but I didn't think much of it. Didn't see anything I liked, so I walked to men's to see if there were better styles, there weren't. So I walked to the back where the clearance racks were and as soon as I made it back there, Max swiftly walked over, slowly passing the aisle I was on, walked to the other side of the aisle and was peering through the racks to see what I was grabbing. Didn't find anything I liked back there either. So I walked back to the front to where I began to see if there were any styles that would just suffice for comfort. As soon as I moved, there was Max, following right behind to see what I was picked up next. I stood there for a good 3-4 mins just looking and he stood there not doing anything the entire time. Suddenly, he was looking for the box of a misplaced shoe. I don't even think the shoebox for the type of shoe he was looking for was even in the section I was looking. I then proceeded to the center part of the wall where the women's Dr Scholls sneakers were, where Max was still able to have eyes on me, looked for a minute, grab a pair that seemed most fitting and walked over to a bench that was in the middle of the aisles to try them on. I hear Max make a comment to the girl (can't remember her name) at the desk, she rushes over from the desk to "assist" him in finding this shoebox, they're both at the front of the store, but she makes her way ALL the way from the front of the store to the aisle I'm on JUST to "readjust" some crooked boxes right across from me. She makes a comment while laughing awkwardly about how she shouldn't be standing long periods of time. Whatever. As soon as she walks away, Max is now at the front desk watching me as I try on these shoes. I finally walk to the desk to purchase my shoes and ask for a military discount. Max seems to have a somewhat blank expression when I asked....maybe because he felt dumb for following me around the entire time as if I were to steal something? On 11/29/2019 around 12 pm, I went into their store and said hi to the woman that helped me with shoes last time. Immediately from there someone on the headphones they use communicated to her (and others) and the 'store' blankly told them that I was "a shoe robber/runner. The woman played the blank game and assumed she didn't know me even though I told her every detail of my interaction with her when I went on the first Friday in November (and she slightly but at least clearly knew who I was but acted else-minded."[ For those that don't know me I live in the painted desert (which is local ) in the area and have only been in that store no more than 5 times in my entire life.] From entry to seconds later I was threatened by them to leave and that they would call the police. I told them that I had the audacity to stay and that they had the wrong guy. Through the time of entry and roughly 10-15 minutes later they were still looking for footage and never said to clarify if I was the guy before I had left I asked if I then could look at their shoes and they said they wouldn't sell me. From there I eventually went to the exit door and asked to speak to the accuser and they wouldn't let me and they never said an apology. When I had asked if the police were still coming they were dumbfounded 10-15 minutes later and looked like nothing happened as if they were guilty. They told me no the police aren't coming, yet they said seconds within while I had first entered in there that they were (which is why I frankly waited in the store). The store's service was disgusting how they handled the situation (even if in a scenario anyone can be accused). To them, they may think oh its one customer loss but in reality, I am telling a lot of people of this disgusting and embarrassing situation. Everyone in the store (roughly 25-30 ) seemed to be caught in the discussion as they were looking at me.
