I've been eating here for almost 4 years. It was the best Greek food around. The meat has always been cooked perfection and spiced perfectly. Something has changed The last three times I've eaten here comprising of three months. It is not as good. In a nutshell over the last three visits, food has been very salty, the meat (gyro and chicken) dry and tasteless, and it seems they've changed the tzatziki recipe. The service was good. Although I got takeout. The Greek salads I ordered were mainly lettuce. The potato salad in my salad was maybe a tablespoon. The dressing was mostly vinegar and did not blend with the salad. I just wanted to let you know if you expected a good Greek salad, this is not what you will get. Pick two items from menu for $9.99 and three items for $14.99! We love their side Greek protein chop salad w pita points, and two slices of spanakopita for $14.99. That fills the two of us up! We had an amazing lunch, gyro, chopped salad and pita and it was so good. Husband had chopped salad and tuna on a pita. But the best was their rice pudding with honey, it has no cinnamon in it unless you ask and it was the best rice pudding I've ever had. This place never disappoints. I am surrounded by closer Greek spots by my house, but am happy to make the drive out. Easily the best Greek restaurant in the area. I said it before but I'll say it again: the chicken avgolemono soup is the star of the show. I like that they make it with orzo instead of rice and their version is a lot less porridge-y than other places. I personally love the "you pick 2 (or 3)" menu selection since everything is so good, I can never walk away with one dish. The greek side salad (chopped) continues to be a close second and to round out the 3-pick option, I opt for a side of the gyro meat. My husband sticks with the chicken souvlaki with a side of fries and always leaves happy. Good variety here and their menu is worth a try. Fresh Greek Cheese made the salad and spanakopita pop. I'm always up for a food adventure so when my husband had surgery in Tampa, I decided to sample some local fare. I noticed all of the Greek restaurants and remembered a childhood trip to nearby Tarpon Springs and was tempted to try out Greek food here. The freshness of the salad and spanakopita was amazing. I was especially impressed with the feta cheese which was atop my salad in a massive block and grated on the spanakopita which was a pie-shaped slice. This really made the experience stand out from other Greek restaurants I have tried on the West coast. The cheese was hard and tangy, reminding me of Mizithra more than the crumbled Feta I am used to. I ordered the Three sides with Spanikopita, and 2 bowls of soup. This was a great bargain I split with my husband. We also sampled the trio of hummus (garlic, spinach and red pepper). I did not care for these at all. the consistency was watery and the garlic feta flavor seemed mayonnaise consistency. Maybe I am hummus-ignorant but I prefer the thicker type with a hint of tahini. Finally I got the traditional Greek salad with Gyro meat. The ingredients were incredible. There was a big mountain of potato salad in the middle and the fresh hummus, greek olives and peppers were spot on. The salad was so rich that it took me a couple of tries eating at it through the night to conquer it. Overall- really fresh version of Greek food, don't order the hummus. read more

The Original Greek salad was delicious and served in the "Greek-American" style, as I like to say, with beets and potato salad. I ordered it "chopped" which is the right decision, trust me. That way, you don't need a knife and when you add the dressing and shake it all up, it's the perfect bite every time. I topped it with gyro meat, of course, and it was the real stuff sliced off the spit and then cooked a little more. I like that they offer a side of pita and tzatziki for about a $1 if you just want a taste and the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) had tons of meat in the filling. Sometimes, people fill it with tons of rice and you're like "where's the beef?!" Not in this case. My fiancé ordered the quarter chicken with lemon potatoes. He liked the chicken and LOVED the potatoes. Just like my mother's (who is Greek), he said. When we called, they were accommodating about his dairy and nut allergy.
