    3 Chicken Kabob Plate
    Nick L.

I am so glad I stopped by this spot. I ordered the 3 kabob platter and the portion size is massive. It came with a side salad and honestly every bite was delicious. You can tell the food is fresh and authentic. The vibe inside is great too. It's super clean and the decor actually makes it feel like you've stepped right into Greece. The staff was incredibly friendly and I'm pretty sure the owner was the one behind the bar making sure everyone was taken care of. If you're looking for a solid Greek meal with great service, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Found this unassuming Greek restaurant on the way to Sand Key, what a hidden gem! It's in a little strip mall and you might miss it if you aren't looking. We got the chicken souvlaki lunch special which came with rice and a small Greek salad, the eggplant sandwich and a standard Greek salad with potato salad and a side of pita. Everything was authentic and delicious. The staff was friendly, fun music and we even enjoyed it out at their little patio tables. Perfect weather and a perfect lunch. Don't miss out on this one.

    Calamari is delicious

Had a delicious lunch date at Sofia's Greek Grill in Clearwater. Pros: The Spanakopita was the bomb! As was the Calamari & Gyro meat. Cons: Lemon orzo soup could be better and Dolmas were a lit dry. Overall pretty darn good and great value. They have a vast menu I'm looking forward to exploring more. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Menu as of November 2022. Small hole in the wall place I love coming back to. Good food for a good price, friendly customer service and I have left happy (:

    Avgolemono...Greek penicillin
    William L.

Well back again. Sofia and her husband were nowhere in sight. Instead the place was being run by a bunch of Hispanics. That certainly accounts why the avgolemono that came with my lunch was way subpar; yuck! It tasted like chicken soup with a squirt of lemon juice. No smooth, velvety consistency; less seasoning than what's acceptable. Anyway: Queen Bee got a Greek salad. She absolutely loved it! Fresh produce and well dressed; crisp and not soggy. Certainly a decent sized portion. It came out fairly quick along with my avgolemono. Meantime, just a moment later the girl brought out my gyro meat atop a heap of rice pilaf. A nice little cup of tzatziki alongside as well as several warmed pita wedges. Meat was nicely done with a good amount of caramelization around the edges. We don't go here for the service (wasn't bad) or the atmosphere (nonexistent). We do so for the food and the fact that Sofia and her husband are charming people who make good food. I certainly hope they're both around next time so I can give them back their 4 star rating.

    Pastitsio
    Suzie L.

Pastitsio We dropped into this small family run eatery for dinner and shared a Horiatiki (Greek village salad), Pastitsio (Greek lasagne) and Baklava. The Horiatiki and the Baklava were good but the Pastitsio was amazing - it was seasoned beautifully and obviously cooked with love and care! This is highly recommended!

Very authentic crusine. For a small, casual operation, it is a very diverse Greek/American menu. Wonderful service.

Great Greek cuisine. This is must to add to the dining list when in the Clearwater or Tampa area. The service is over the top.

This week I visited Clearwater Florida for the first time, and Mio's Grill & Cafe was recommended…read moreby me to a friend who has visited Clearwater many times, and said to me that this restaurant was a "must visit" during my time here (and they were right). We sat outside during our meal and the ambiance and feel of the restaurant was very welcoming! As for entrees, I ordered the Chicken Gyro Platter which was very well made, seasoned perfectly, and presented very well. The chicken was very well seasoned along with it being perfectly cooked, and the Rice Pilaf was the same. Overall nothing I would change about this dish and I would recommend ordering it. Next, one of the people in my party ordered the Chicken Gyro Salad which they loved. Same as my dish, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was also mentioned that the lettuce was extremely fresh which is always great to see. The last two members of our party ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro Salad which they loved. Again the meet was cooked very well and the lettuce was extremely fresh and overall they both loved their meal. (We did also order the Baklava for dessert which was fantastic as well) To finish, our service was top tier and our server Tayfun was extremely attentive throughout our entire dining experience and was very friendly! Amazing 10/10 dining experience and would most definitely come here again and recommend to others!

We had a great experience here! Didn't take pictures because we were enjoying our conversation and…read morethe food was so good we forgot about taking pictures. We sat outside on the water and it was a little cool but a light jacket made it comfortable. It was a beautiful day! We started with Turkish Coffee, which was delicious! We have no idea how to "read the coffee grounds" HAHA but I can tell you mine looked like a duck and a crooked United States, if that helps anyones premonitions, LOL. We ordered the babaganouj appetizer, which was DELICIOUS!! It comes with pita, but for me, being gluten intolerant I asked for some vegetable. Waiter offered cucumber, but he only gave me 3 tiny pieces....so sad. Whatever, I wasnt going to let it go to waste so I just ate it with a fork. However I would suggest offering a proper portion of sliced cucumbers for your Gluten Free patrons, as a courtesy. I ordered the gluten free Falafel Salad and my son ordered the Yogurt Kebab. Both were very enjoyable! My falafels were moist on the inside with a crisp outer shell, my only suggestion would be to add a little Feta to the salad, wouldve been more interesting than pkind of plain and redundant--especially for just under $20. My son enjoyed his dish, even using the pita to scoop it up. We were so full and brought more than half home. The waiter was very kind and was generous to offer us a complimentary piece of Baklava (we had waited a bit for our food but it wasnt really a big deal--we were enjoying ourselves). Parking is a bit of a challenge because Columbia Rest and Backwaters has Valet that sort of capitalize the parking area-so plan ahead for that. We went at 2pm so it wasnt too difficult but I would guess dinner might be a challenge unless you use their Valet services--but Im only guessing. The restaurant is cute inside, and I saw they had a wine cooler. I think we'll go again and order a bunch of different appetizers and try some Turkish wine. I highly recommend trying Mio's!

5-star update for one of my favorite Tampa restaurants! Psomi is a must-go for breakfast/brunch…read moreevery time I'm in town. I most recently took my sister here for the first time while we were visiting for a concert and she loved it, too! We started with iced baklava lattes and the greek donuts (loukoumades) drizzled with honey and this was actually my first time have these here. They're served hot and fresh -- absolutely delicious! When I want something light for breakfast, my go-to is the Everything but the Bagel yogurt bowl (house cured wild caught salmon, cucumber, pickled red onion, tomato, crispy capers, & everything seasoning). It's such a fresh gorgeous bowl, packed with protein. I also love their extra thick cut bacon on the side. My sis got the strapatsada which is a breakfast classic on their menu (greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, & grilled baguette). It's a very generous portion and she had a good amount leftover to take home. Of course, you can't leave without a few pastries for the road! They are a bakery-first concept and all of their breads and baked goods are made in-house. We got the baklava coffee cake and brioche bread pudding muffin to-go. Psomi never disappoints!

The service was also great. What I especially love about this place is how they go the extra mile to produce quality food. They bake all their things in house, don't use seed oils, everything is grass-fed, amongst other things. We ordered the bacon eggs Benedict, the Favosalata, and French toast. All were very good. I plan to come back here again!!
