What a good place to get a quick bite! Enjoyed a wide variety of food here-- pierogis, coconut shrimp, sweet potato fries, and an assortment of burgers, chicken sammys, and fish sammys. The classic burgers are great and the chicken sandwich was really juicy. Sweet potato fries were so addicting we couldn't stop munching on them. This place is so good! Their variety of slider options is outstanding, and there's legitimately something for everyone. We make a point to hit up this place when we're in Plymouth. It's in a larger building, so it's cozy and overall a welcoming sports bar-type atmosphere. The appetizers are also delicious. Stopped by here randomly yesterday looking for a drink and snack. So impressed! Had never heard of it before and it happened to pop up on nearby restaurants on Google maps. So glad we stopped by! It's away from all the business of the main downtown area, which I appreciate. Wonderful happy hour specials every day (rare to see them on weekends these days). The slider menu is extensive and so many sounded divine. I went with the 2am and breakfast sliders. My boyfriend chose the smokehouse slider and ripper dog. We split a small order of chili cheese fries. All of the food was amazing. The sliders are much larger than White Castle so be forewarned. I couldn't eat the entirety of my two. The chili on the fries was outstanding. I'd devour a bowl of that in the fall or winter. Our drinks (spicy Bloody Mary and strawberry Moscow mule) were also tasty. Great service to boot. I've been to the sidecar slider bar in Brighton, this was my first time here at the one in Plymouth. I love the vibe of the place. The seating and tvs are great. I got French fries and a portabella slider. DELICIOUS. The service is slower here and the staff aren't as friendly as the Brighton location but I still like it (enough to still give it 5 stars). Organized a large group dinner for my team at work with plus ones. I worked with Don, the manager for a few weeks to hash out ideas for setup and menu items and it was so great working with him and his team. We had the covered outdoor patio for our large group, setup the food buffet style and everything went off without a hitch. Great service, fast and friendly. It took a long contemplation to give 2 stars. We attended the first Jeopardy trivia night. The waits for drinks took time, but seeing the bartender dig in his ears and scratch his nose...I was disgusted. So excited that Sidecar Slider Bar is in Plymouth! First tried Sidecar in Commerce and fell in love with the Brussels sprouts. The best! I licked the serving spoon! Love the chill vibe. Our favorite place to sit is the bar... you know what?! The freaking best bartender around moved to Sidecar! Wheels! We love him and know we get the best of both worlds. I ate the Ripper Dog so fast I forgot to get a pic, Fiancé did the same with her breakfast slider, so all I got were pics of the insanely good cheese curds and my Ahi slider, which was absolutely decadent!! I checked out this location shortly after it opened, and didn't have a lot of time to spend, but did order a drink. I looked over the menu and they have a lot of good items, and the value seems about on par with other places. It's in downtown Plymouth in a great location, with a nice outdoor seating area. The staff were also very nice! I'm wanting to go back when I have more time. The food that was going to others looked delicious and the few around me that were eating did rave about it being excellent. I'll more than likely add more stars when I get a chance to stay longer and actually eat, but I do recommend this place! read more

Fourth time in usually great, tonite the three of us ordered pretzels bites which were great thank goodness. Draft beer was not working not good. Then all of ordered salads a Caesar, Greek and traverse city all were over drenched with dressing in so that none of ate more than half because of excess dressing. Two thumbs up, we will be back for more! We were so happy this evening to come in for a late dinner and get sat right away, a rare occurrence in plymouth. We sat out on the back patio by the parking lot with the string lights and umbrellas. Even though we were a bit further out, we never felt like our sever forgot about us! I wasn't thrilled by my visit to the new Sidecar Slider Bar. The service seemed a little discombobulated. We didn't receive menus when we were seated, and didn't get them for some time after. We were told they had run out? We were told the patio seating was heated and was almost the same temperature as inside. It was freezing! Needless to say, I wasn't in a very good mood for the food. The coconut shrimp and pierogies we ordered as an appetizer were very mediocre. The shrimp had that pasty texture deep fried food gets when it's not fried properly. The pierogies tasted like the kind that come out of the box from the grocery store. Finally, I was disappointed by the slider. I tried a mushroom and swiss slider. The toppings were ok, but the meat itself wasn't great - Bland and a little spongy, like it had filler in it. read more

And what's really cool is their kitchen is open until 2am every day Mon-Sun! New restaurant near us, so we decided to try. Got there at 5PM and ended up at the outdoor patio in 53 degree temperature. From the attached menu you can see at the top appetizers which are half off during happy hour. At first it seemed like a good deal, but after getting the coconut shrimp and pierogi, it equaled one dollar for each shrimp or pierogi. They tasted OK, but would never pay full price. I do not know how they'll preform during a lunch or dinner rush. When I came in 2:55pm only 2 staff were on the floor. if not for the brown lettuce I'd give the food 5 stars. The Brussel sprouts were not prepared the way I enjoy them. My fault. The other appetizers were great. We had sliders, 6 different ones. All yummy. Fries and waffle fries. Hot and fresh. We hit happy hour by accident. That was an enjoyable accident. Lol. Drinks for all. Our waitress, Ericka, very sweet and efficient. Overall, a great experience. A worthy and welcome addition to Plymouth. My wife and I tried Sidecar soon after they opened, and we really enjoyed it. We got two drinks, two shareables, and two sliders. The loaded tater tots and Brussels sprouts were very good, as were our sliders. They are slider size, definitely not just small burgers, but they were priced right for their size. The decor, the service, the drinks, all were good. This place fits right into the Plymouth dining scene, and is definitely worth a visit. We will be back. read more

The loaded tots were nothing special. The southwest egg rolls were good but they're just got for me, my husband enjoyed them. They do have a little bit of a kick to them. Service was fast and great. This was our second time here. Our server Jamie was excellent! He made sure we would be happy with our order and checked on us consistently despite the bar being packed. This is a casual sports bar with TVs and a relaxed vibe, not pretentious like some other DTP bars. The bar is small and fills up fast but they have an outdoor patio also. A fancier small plates restaurant is connected to the bar and opening soon. The chicken tenders were the best we've ever had. A recent visit with our daughter and husband to celebrate our 41st anniversary was an impromptu success at this restaurant. Having visited another Sidecar slider bar in Brighton recently we were eager to try this establishment as well because of our good experience there. It is situated across the RR tracks from Bode's Corned Beef House, a stable of ours when we crave a corned beef fix but that review is for another time. Our server Olivia made our meal of sliders, pierogi and balsamic brussell sprouts an exceptional experience. Went with some family for a belated Mother's Day dinner to treat my mom. Mom picked this place because she said she had been there a couple times for Happy Hour and she had enjoyed it. Horrible experience. Some of the worst service I've EVER had. Our server couldn't have been more disinterested in helping us. Mumbled questions, one word answers, terrible knowledge of the menu and despite requests for our appetizers to come out before food and no onions on one of the items these were not fulfilled. TBH our server seemed like she was annoyed she had to serve us and the most personality I saw was when she dropped off the check. The food was decent. Southwest egg-rolls and fries were good. Family had sliders and enjoyed them. I had a salad. It was just okay, but my fault because I'm sure salads at a slider bar aren't going to be top notch.
