It then kicked me into a message system asking me to leave my name and number and someone would call me back within 24 hours. No one ever called. Decided to visit the shop on a Sunday afternoon in early January 2026 after viewing on Google and only a 25 minute drive for us. I will point out that I'm a Retail Business Executive and my observations are through a customer's lens as well as a business operations lens. Exterior of building clean and inviting along with the entrance Foyer. When we walked into the Cigar Shop we quickly noticed confusing merchandising (nothing really flowed), dim lighting, and could not differentiate the Employees from the shoppers (except for us - we stuck out like a sore thumb due to our business casual dress attire). Employees were in Thrasher Hoodies, Generic Hats, and no name tags. Once approached by an employee he stated "you look like a Fuente Opus X guy" (I am). So after I purchased a few Opus X, Noblesse, and a Legacy we decided to try out Leaf Cigar Bar and that's where the Experience went further into the toilet. Upon entrance, guests were Cigarette smoking, vaping, and some Cigar smoking. After sitting down we noticed ALL the Ashtrays were filthy, many full, so I went to the bar where there was a stack, grabbed one and noticed they were filthy too. We decided to go to the bar (obviously no table service) to order drinks (this was the final straw of the afternoon). I asked the bartender "may I see a drink menu"? Which she replied "your looking at the drink menu"!! At that point, I just ordered an Old Fashion with Bulleit Bourbon and a Yamikaze whiskey neat for my guest. Mind you I said "Bulleit Bourbon" and her response was " I have 4 shelves of Bourbon what one would you like"? I replied Bulleit just like i ordered it. We gathered our drinks and sat. We smoked 1 Cigar each ( usually 2 each) and left. The Food looked excellent from what I saw around us, but we were sooo disgusted with the Experience that we didn't want to stay any longer. Again the Bartender was absolutely rude and sarcastic to everyone. Again a Dress Code would greatly benefit your business for she had Lulu Lemon gear on which was not flattering at all ( felt like a dive bar). We will never visit again for sure and take our usual 1 hour drive to Holts in Philly. Professional advice for this business: 1). Get a Dress Code Standard * Bare minimum of Branded Golf Polos for staff * tucked in and presentable and Name Tags. 2). Your a Cigar Bar not a Vape Bar or Cigarette Bar. Nobody wants to be around Bubble Gum gangsters in a CIGAR BAR! 3). Clean you Ashtrays! Develop a Cleaning Standard. 4). Associate Training modules on how to be in the Retail Customer Facing business. Friendly Service. If they are the drink menu, they need to be fired or re-trained. 5). Remerchandise the Cigars that it flows better with the Brands. Shouldn't have to go to the warehouse to get an Opus X. If you have them, display them and don't hide them. read more

Good and BAD. First I have been a customer for wellover 15 years with great service and products. I usually order before I run out. I purchased 100 cigars, Macanudo Maduro Ascots, Feb 25th of this year. I opened the first cigar in April and found it umsmokable because it was too hard and would not draw. I humidified 10 cigars for two weeks without any change. I opened another tin and found it the same. I called customer service and they told me there is no guarantee after 30 days. I had to throw all of the cigars away. I ordered a different brand, Tabac Especial Cafecita, and they are perfect. So, don't wait to open and check your order before 30 days. No cutomer service after 30 days. read more

I have been a cigar connoisseur for well over 25 years and I must say i have had nothing but great experience ordering online from this group. I have not visited the smoke shop but will pay a visit one of these days when I do visit my parents again in Lansdale which is not too far from Easton, PA. Today, I made my 4th order for the year, and realized that so far I have spent allot on cigars. LOL, expensive bad habit but love it. In placing the order, I realized that the shipping method would not meet my expectation, as I am getting ready for a trip next week to Jamaican and it would not have been delivered in time for my trip. My mistake. So, I called the Smoke shop who then recommended I speak to customer service to change my shipping methos. I was expecting to pay the difference from UPS 2day to overnight. Instead that very nice lady knew that it was a huge mistake on my part and offered to wave the extra fee. Now that is what I call great customer service, because I feel as a loyal customer I may not be entitled to such compromise but customer service is a key element in having returning customers especially one that spends about $3,500 per year on cigars. Overall, their prices have gone up but inflation sure is making me pull back a little. The prices here are much lower by as much as 20% compared to if I was buying here in California. Some of the cigars that I have bought at Total Wine cost me over $15 per stick, while if I bought the whole box of 20 for Famous, it would work out to be $2.80 per stick. So Bravo. Shipping to Southern CA is a few days through USPS. Daily specials are sometimes enough to cover the shipping and tax. I order about once per month and my favorites are saved on the site, so it's very quick and easy to order. No negatives except that it's too far to visit the shop. I would love to do that... So finally made it to the store in person. I dropped about $250 on various cigars. Here are my impressions. To start, the exterior of the build is a bit bland compared to Cigar International. There is plenty of seating but the place was empty this Sunday afternoon. I was very disappointed by service. Wasn't bad, but was offered no help. Not that I needed it, but it did feel really funny to see them help another group that walked alittle bit after us. Now they might of asked for help but still made us feel odd. It definitely affected the decision to stay or even come here again with Cigar International so close by. At least there, you are asked, if you need help, even if you turn it away. Maybe it's just that I'm a New Yorker, but I just dropped $250 and traveled 2 hours to get here, so yeah, I'm going to be picky. My wife would have let me easily spend another $200, but she quietly reminded me not to spend in excess where service might have been selective. Either way, the cigars looked decent. There was a nice selection. And service wasn't rude or mean, just felt like we weren't worth their time. Their online store is very convenient, I usually bounce between them and Cigar International. In the end, I could only bring myself to come back if Cigar International is closed. A bit disappointed. read more

Update July 2023: I guess this place does not need business because they sure do not care about customer satisfaction. My husband has been ordering from here for years, and orders a large quantity- close to $1000- each time. It never fails that for the last 4-5 orders the day that he orders....within minutes he receives a coupon for a large percentage off (but expires quickly). He finally called them when this happened this last time. The person told him that since he already submitted his order they could not provide that percentage discount (even though it had been mere minutes since the order was placed online). He was told to call next time and place the order by phone. He explained he orders a lot and that it is easier to go online. The person was unwilling to help or even just credit his account for the next order (since he has ordered for years). He asked for his account to be closed. For weeks after he kept getting emails and paper mailings. He called again and told another person about the situation and why he requested that his account be closed and to stop contacting him. That person did not in any way try to remedy the situation or save him as a customer and said there was nothing she could do about the emails or paper mailings. So....needless to say- he will direct his business elsewhere. read more

So I order quite often from Famous Smoke Shop. A minimum of three times a month with a minimum purchase of $100.00 to $130.00 per order! The last two orders were advised as buy one box of infernos get 5 free I ordered 2 boxes however, I didn't get any free cigars. On the first shipment it was listed on the invoice but no cigars. Several days later I ordered another 2 boxes and again I didn't receive any free cigars. I called the 1800 number and spoke to the girl who was very nice and she looked up the order and saw the first invoice showing 10 free cigars but I told her I didn't receive them. On the second order it was not listed on the invoice. It showed only the 2 boxes of cigars. She quickly reviewed everything again and told me that I would be receiving the free cigars. 7 days past and no cigars, so I called and I was told that I would NOT be getting any free cigars because they ran out of that special. I told her that they should never run the special if they knew that they would not be shipping the free cigars. So now I am not sure if I will be ordering from them anymore. I have to think about it.
