Friendly helpful staff Nice portions and a perfect dog Cute restaurant First visit and didn't know if I was supposed to clear my own plates and didn't know I was supposed to take sticky note of my order to front to pay.

Summer season is hotdog time. The service didn't take long and everyone was friendly. I sat at the front counter, the seating was comfortable. The restaurant was crowded but service is fast. I ordered 2 hotdogs, fried pickles, shoestring fries, and drink. The food was hot and tasty. I like my hotdog plain or with sauerkraut. I would visit again for something else on the menu.

I love their hot dogs. It's really perfect. Only thing I would change is to order sliced onions not just diced. Maybe even some peppers. But I love it. Now even though I would make that change. That's not really a FLAW to me. But what IS A FLAW is close together the bar seats are. And I definitely understand, the more seats the more money. But having to sit that close to the next person eating was annoying taste of food however...great.

I was in the area just to grab crumble cookies but the little one was hungry. We went to Famous Uncle Al's around 4:30pm because I assumed it was a grab and go type of restaurant but man was I wrong. When I went in the restaurant the workers were super friendly and welcoming. It has a old school diner vibe. I looked lost and confused but was asked politely to take a seat. We were approached by our server. She was super nice and outgoing. I ordered the chili dogs and fries. The crazy thing is that at the time I didn't know they closed at 5pm we didn't leave till 5:30pm and wasn't rushed out or felt pressure to leave! I only found out what time they closed when I was searching for this place to leave a review.

Popped in for a quick lunch and sat at their bar. Service is quick and they are all SUPER friendly. It always has a nice buzz no matter when you go! Hotdog was delicious and snappy. Bun was super soft. Their fresh cut fries with malt vinegar, pepper and ketchup = forget about it! So good and fresh. Definitely one of the best hotdogs in the area! They are very consistent and never let you down!

Visiting from California and stopped by this place today! We got such a warm welcome from every single person working and it smelled great as soon as we walked in too. It was super busy with regulars and you can tell they've built a community in there. Will definitely be back the next time we're in town and will recommend it to our local family!

Baker's Crust is definitely worth a stop!…read more I had the Charleston Chicken & Avocado Sandwich with buttermilk-fried chicken, avocado, applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, honey, and mustard -- and it was so good! The ingredients are absolutely top-notch. My fiancé tried the Lemon Basil Harvest Salad with chicken, and that was excellent as well. Fresh, flavorful, and a great gluten free option if you're looking for something a little lighter. The service was excellent from start to finish. The bartenders were on top of everything, the management was next level, and the atmosphere was busy, energetic, and just really chill - it's def a vibe. If there's a wait, don't let that stop you it's worth it. The food, service, and overall experience definitely deliver. If you're passing through the area, I highly, highly recommend Baker's Crust. Definitely a place I'd come back to! The management takes pride in being the best and it shows in service. Appreciate you Mark!

We always choose the Greenbrier location in Chesapeake since there's ample parking available, and the service is very good. Tonight I tried a new salad, the Lemon Basil Harvest Blend, and I appreciated our server, Jackeline M for asking if I preferred the dressing on the side. Yes, please! I'm so glad she asked! This mixed greens salad has some star ingredients that caught my eye: charred artichokes, green olives, and grilled balsamic chicken. Yum. I'll be ordering this salad again. My bestie ordered her favorite bc combo with Tomato Soup and the Wine Country salad. She says that soup and salad combo never disappoints. She finished it! But, we always save room to share a trusty bc favorite dessert: the Wimbledon (strawberries with whipped cream crepes). Although it's no longer on the menu, the Greenbrier location always whips it up for us when we ask. It's an oldie, and a goodie! We enjoy the cozy atmosphere of Baker's Crust and find that our dinner catch ups over their delicious food and dessert are always long overdue. I boxed half of my salad to take home and Jackeline was kind in bringing me extra salad dressing to go. Very thoughtful. We'll be back soon!

I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet but omited the sides because I wasn't sure if they were gluten free. My husband also ordered an omelet, his was the meat lovers. He had toast and potatoes as his side. My daughter enjoyed a Eggs Benedict. The food came out pretty quick which was nice because it started to get quite busy. Our omelets came out and were huge and full of ingredients. I had no complaints. The eggs on the eggs benedict were a little over done but the rest of the plate was perfect so it didn't bother my daughter at all. Overall everything was really good and when we were leaving there was a wait so I'm glad we got there early. We will most definitely be back!!

Since it was a Wednesday evening, I figured it shouldn't be busy, but boy was I wrong lol. When we arrived, the wait was almost an hour and we contemplated leaving but thankfully, there were two, open seats at the bar, so my daughter and I decided to grab those seats and dine in. The restaurant was very colorful and vibrant and I loved all the Jamaican decor. The bar was just as packed and it took a while for someone to get us menus but after looking over the menu, we decided on the Brown Stew Chicken and the Curry Chicken. We also ordered Frozen Bob Marleys, which were very good. As we waited, we were able to hear the sounds of the band nearby and it made for a nice vibe. It took an hour for us to get our food but our server/bartender, Meka, was very sweet and apologetic. The Brown Stew Chicken was amazing! It was seasoned wonderfully and extremely flavorful. The Rice & Peas and Plantains were just as good. My daughter enjoyed her Curry Chicken as well. Neither one of us cared for the Mac & Cheese. Wednesdays are Groove on the Green, which is a free, Music Concert Series that Cutlass Grille hosts so I believe that's what caused it to be busy. Plus, we saw a few graduates out there as well having graduation dinners. Overall, I enjoyed my food but we definitely picked the wrong day to go. If I'm ever in the area, I would probably return in hopes for a better dining experience.
