The only item worth the price I payed.

Such a scam. The place was cramped and run horribly. The upstairs area is a complete waste of money and if you've never been before they don't tell you they have a downstairs. The prices are horrendous. The mystery pc packs are so overpriced. 6 dollars per pc for PCs that are worth 1 dollar or less. The bottom floor is better becuase it has more stuff but it isn't worth the price. Albums that are 15-20 dollars online or at other stores are 25-30 dollars here. Also other than one of the employees the service is horrible. Nobody helps you with anything or tells you anything. As well as the location being awful. The whole area around the store smelled like urine and the inside of the store had so many scent defusers. Just go somewhere else save your wallet and your time.

The clerks were so rude and unhelpful. The first shop downstairs is near an army recruitment center, the shop is tiny but offers sooo much. It's very colorful and so much variety. I loved the fact there are claw machines, sections for certain things, and a photobooth. It was cute. Value wise is affordable, make sure to ask about getting your parking validated. If you don't get the stink eye. The second floor offers photocards, official and unofficial. Charms, and stickers, and tons of BT21 merch. I loved the variety of concert merch, keychains, and extras from albums are lined up in their other store upstairs. There's jewelry, makeup and decals for lightsticks. Definitely loved the inclusivity of visiting KPOP Stans and wanting to leave notes on their wall. Tons of areas for selfies. Also an area to leave their photobooth strip to be featured on the window in the first floor shop. There's variety in music selection and MV selection playing in the store. What I did not like is there was so much clutter in one corner with boxes, trash, tubes, and bags of inventory that needs to be away from customers.

A decent and organized kpop store near the Wiltern and across from MaDang. You can find it upstairs and to the left if you're coming from the Metro. The store has a lot of albums, but it didn't seem they had all the newest releases. However, I must say, the prices of everythimg were very reasonable! Many albums ranged from $18 to $25. Better prices than other stores in the area. BE CAREFUL: Know the difference between official kpop photocards and fanmade ones... it is not easy to distinguish in the store.

This spot is pretty new! I'm actually glad a listing finally showed up for this place. They are located on the second floor of the building (just like shown in one of my photos posted) and they are in the same plaza with Starbucks, Fishy Fishy and Yasiknara which is across the street from The Wiltern. They are also pretty active on Instagram (@kpopbestie_la) and is open late from 10am-11pm, which is actually pretty awesome because other places closes earlier and they sometimes change their hours if there's a concert happening that weekend too. They have a wide variety & selection of K-Pop items including albums, photocards, cardholders, decorations, posters, calendars, lightsticks, plush dolls, accessories, etc. They are pretty reasonably priced and I tend to compare prices from the other K-Pop stores nearby to get the best price before purchasing any album. What's really cool about this spot too is honestly their areas of photocards where you can just get lost looking at all of them. When you purchase an album, you get a free photocard. There are also "special" photocards near the lightsticks that tend to be $6.99 but better finding those photocards there then buying it at other places because other places sell it for double times the price. You just don't know what new things this store may have so I'd say to check their Instagram or website if you have any questions. This is definitely one of my new favorite Kpop stores in LA! Check it out if you're in the area :)

Absolutely my favorite store to visit in Ktown when in LA. LOTS of photo cards (though not official cards) and a lot of merch you can find anywhere else. I also liked that they labeled their albums so you could find the member your looking for (think FML carat version.... Imagine how many albums you'd have to purchase to find 1 specific member (S.Coups shout out) out of 13... lol) And they always have a fun survey outside of the building that goes with the shows in the area... just love this store!

Claw machine is rigged. Claw opens up every time when raising up you'll never gonna get anything like this. Waste $ 10 on this impossible machine

Good service, they were really nice, and they had a WIDE selection of albums from different groups, they also had a Photo Booth to take pictures with idols.

Shopping in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California…read more.. Somehow, I found free street parking on Hollywood Boulevard, almost right in front of Amoeba Music... It's an iconic place. I thought that I should look around inside... Wow... It has everything... jazz, top 40, soul, hip hop, ethnic music, CDs, vinyl, movies, used, new, merchandise, and more! I was truthfully overwhelmed. I will be back when I'm more focused and have more time! Note: Amoeba Music is also in San Francisco and Berkeley.

I've barely begun to dip my toe into deep appreciation of physical music mediums, and accompanied my wife here on her birthday search for a few specific vinyls and CDs. My search was narrow, hoping for a Odesza vinyl. I found two vinyls from the A Moment Apart album I was in search for with one being a used copy in a deep sea foam color while the other was a clear vinyl. Because I knew nothing about vinyls, I went to the front desk where Kelly took the time to show me how; 1) properly remove vinyls from their sleeve, 2) the direction to clean vinyls using a microfiber cloth, 3) check downs to go through when inspecting a used vinyl, and 4) in why's behind inspecting vinyls the way she recommended. In taking the time to show me how to check 3 separate clearance vinyls, I felt even more stoked about my Odesza used vinyl find as it was fun colored vinyl not yet in our collection and in beautiful condition. Kelly - thank you for not being a gatekeeper. You rock!

It's really interesting how a single kpop establishment has two stores inside the same mall. The…read morestore located in front of the escalators are dedicated to CDs. They mostly offer new releases (trust me, with a variety of versions) and a few throwback albums (from the late 2010s / early 2020s). Their location on the other end of the hall (next to 그녀 샵 [Geu Nyeo Shop]) has an extensive selection of posters, lightsticks and a few souvenirs. Being a kpop stan on budget seems like an oxymoron, however I made it possible by focusing on posters during my first visit. Their posters are placed on shoebox like shelves and are labeled according to group/artist. Here's my tip upon selecting posters: be sure to read the labels above the barcode. It tells you the poster's name. However, if you'd like a sneak peek of what the poster looks like, you may search on Google or Choice Music's website to see an actual preview. Take your sweet time, as long as it's not as busy and/or if you're determined to get the poster(s) that you want. Some posters (for example Seventeen) have dedicated ones per unit (vocal, performance, hip hop) and some have all members in one poster. Surprisingly, all of my 3 posters were on sale that day. Depending on the cashier on duty, they may offer freebies along with your purchase. Happy Hunting with many choices at Choice Music!

What a huge selection of new and used vinyl, CDs, and cassettes! I found some titles I had been looking for recently. Yeah, I could have ordered them from somewhere online, but I want to support local shops because it helps keep the community going. There was such a large selection of genres, many that were new to me. I love being able to browse physical music again. I have found that slowing down and listening intentionally makes me appreciate the artists more. I keep hearing new things in songs that I have missed before. The next time I am in the area I will stop in again.

I noticed it, but never went inside to check it out till recently. I like that it stays opened till late, some places close too early (I am sure it's a financial thing). Customer here is nice. The selection is just OK.. A few issues: the stores needs to be cleaner and better organized. They have records, books, CD-s, DVD-s, VHS. The condition isn't the best, they also need to put prices on everything. I picked up lots of items with no stickers on so you give up, especially since the prices at Nivessa are so high! I am glad they opened, but I hope things will improve here.
