This was a really fun store to walk around and look. It seemed organized, but it was soo cramped! It's hard to walk passed anyone in the same aisle because there's just no room. I think this place is fine if you collect these kinds of items, but, as an outsider, I thought the prices were pretty high. The staff does not care either. They were too busy sitting at the front chitchatting with each other. I didn't buy anything myself, but they looked annoyed when other people would interrupt their conversation to buy things. I was sad to see that this place wasn't that big and it's really hard to find parking around here. The staff wasn't too helpful, they were busy chatting with each other and taking selfies. You can get lots of trinkets of most kpop bands, but I wanted more merch of Twice. There aren't that many photo cards. read more

Such a scam. The place was cramped and run horribly. The upstairs area is a complete waste of money and if you've never been before they don't tell you they have a downstairs. The prices are horrendous. The mystery pc packs are so overpriced. 6 dollars per pc for PCs that are worth 1 dollar or less. The bottom floor is better becuase it has more stuff but it isn't worth the price. Albums that are 15-20 dollars online or at other stores are 25-30 dollars here. Also other than one of the employees the service is horrible. Nobody helps you with anything or tells you anything. As well as the location being awful. The whole area around the store smelled like urine and the inside of the store had so many scent defusers. Just go somewhere else save your wallet and your time. read more

The clerks were so rude and unhelpful. The first shop downstairs is near an army recruitment center, the shop is tiny but offers sooo much. It's very colorful and so much variety. I loved the fact there are claw machines, sections for certain things, and a photobooth. It was cute. Value wise is affordable, make sure to ask about getting your parking validated. If you don't get the stink eye. The second floor offers photocards, official and unofficial. Charms, and stickers, and tons of BT21 merch. I loved the variety of concert merch, keychains, and extras from albums are lined up in their other store upstairs. There's jewelry, makeup and decals for lightsticks. Definitely loved the inclusivity of visiting KPOP Stans and wanting to leave notes on their wall. Tons of areas for selfies. Also an area to leave their photobooth strip to be featured on the window in the first floor shop. There's variety in music selection and MV selection playing in the store. What I did not like is there was so much clutter in one corner with boxes, trash, tubes, and bags of inventory that needs to be away from customers. read more

We've been here several times now and it's always been a positive experience for us. The most recent visit was for the J-Hope photo booth which we loved. It's $16 which is pricey but also normal for these types of photos unfortunately. You only get one copy (machine says two but the other is a photo card-type photo strip) so be aware of this if you're taking photos with a friend! They have the QR code on photo strip that you can scan within 24 hours to get a digital copy of the photo and video. The photo card strip came out but nothing else so I took out a star for that. Our actual photos got stuck in the machine but thankfully a cashier helped out and said that this has been happening a lot lately which hopefully they can fix soon! Regarding selection, it is good imo and there is another location of the same store in the same mall (higher level) for even more kpop goodies! I'm sure that we will be back again and I'll update to add the extra star next time assuming that photo booth will be good then! read more

I've gone to many KPop stores throughout the last decade of living in LA, but I can confidently say that KPop Bestie is my go-to KPop store. The selection is great with reasonable prices, both the upstairs and downstairs stores have bright and welcoming decor, and the staff are super nice and helpful. I've attended a few of the fan events that are hosted at this store as well, and it's really nice to see a store that also helps in building community through these events. They really do live up to the "Bestie" name. read more

Not sure why reviews say service is bad...everyone was super nice and you are there to browse yourself. They offer free two hour parking with a QR code at the cashier, make sure you scan the code. otherwise lots of albums to look at and came for the jhope photo booth. The picture was $16 but so worth it. It was easy to use and they give you props to use too. Upstairs is more photocard based and has lots of BT21 merch. I got a photo album that was actually cheaper than online. Staff was nice and left me alone to browse which I appreciated. def go to the first floor for the Photo Booth! read more

A decent and organized kpop store near the Wiltern and across from MaDang. You can find it upstairs and to the left if you're coming from the Metro. The store has a lot of albums, but it didn't seem they had all the newest releases. However, I must say, the prices of everythimg were very reasonable! Many albums ranged from $18 to $25. Better prices than other stores in the area. BE CAREFUL: Know the difference between official kpop photocards and fanmade ones... it is not easy to distinguish in the store. read more

KPOP Bestie calls itself a pop up, but it's been a few months now, lol! That being said, they have so much Kpop merch and it's not badly priced at all. Black Pink, Stray Kids, Twice, TXT, Seventeen, aespa, New Jeans, NCT, and BTS obvi. Basically any current kpop you love, you'll find their items here. Magazines, BTS incense burners, posters, CDs, concert lights (like Twice Official Light Stick), home items like Kakao Talk tumblers, idol branded beauty products like lotions and face masks, keychains, plushies including some cute Sanrio items. Anything and everything. One of the big draws here is $3 photo cards! They basically have all current idols. I swear, if this was a thing when I was little with G.O.D., 1 Tym, and Sech Kies - I would have been all over it! Admittedly, I do still have a few H.O.T. postcards, lol. They have some life size gasoos which freak me out every time I am in the shop. But they make for a good photo op! Really cute store packed full of items! They say they are open until 11pm on weekends, which is already late AF. But last night they were still open after Midnight! And it was busy! So insane. read more

Me and my BTS ARMY friends were on our way out of town and couldn't help one last stop at a KPop store. This one happened to pop up on Yelp. It's not my favorite KPop store but it is a well organized and multi-KPop options. LOTS of albums, a fun Photo Booth with accessories to dress up in, tchotchkes, magazines, posters, LOTS of light bombs to peruse through. They even had some of those fun little claw machines. This review is during the time OT6 is in the military (Jin just came out). I think the KPop industry is pushing a lot of other groups so there didn't seem to be nearly as much BTS highlighted in the shop. They're still there but not as merch around them. I'm solo BTS so didn't have as much interest in the other groups. That's just me. The merch here wasn't my cup of tea, but my friend walked away with several purchases. This spot is pretty new! I'm actually glad a listing finally showed up for this place. They are located on the second floor of the building (just like shown in one of my photos posted) and they are in the same plaza with Starbucks, Fishy Fishy and Yasiknara which is across the street from The Wiltern. They are also pretty active on Instagram (@kpopbestie_la) and is open late from 10am-11pm, which is actually pretty awesome because other places closes earlier and they sometimes change their hours if there's a concert happening that weekend too. They have a wide variety & selection of K-Pop items including albums, photocards, cardholders, decorations, posters, calendars, lightsticks, plush dolls, accessories, etc. They are pretty reasonably priced and I tend to compare prices from the other K-Pop stores nearby to get the best price before purchasing any album. What's really cool about this spot too is honestly their areas of photocards where you can just get lost looking at all of them. When you purchase an album, you get a free photocard. There are also "special" photocards near the lightsticks that tend to be $6.99 but better finding those photocards there then buying it at other places because other places sell it for double times the price. You just don't know what new things this store may have so I'd say to check their Instagram or website if you have any questions. This is definitely one of my new favorite Kpop stores in LA! This place had a huge selection of albums, photo cards, and anything kpop. They have something ina. Kpop store I've never seen before: individual photo cards and even a trading station for them! The value for these cards are good compared to eBay prices; about $3-7/ea, depending on the card of course. read more

Absolutely my favorite store to visit in Ktown when in LA. LOTS of photo cards (though not official cards) and a lot of merch you can find anywhere else. I also liked that they labeled their albums so you could find the member your looking for (think FML carat version.... Imagine how many albums you'd have to purchase to find 1 specific member (S.Coups shout out) out of 13... lol) And they always have a fun survey outside of the building that goes with the shows in the area... just love this store! read more

The staff is friendly and will answer any questions you may have as well as guide you with any suggestions based on your interest. It was my first time here and really enjoyed my time! You can park in the retail parking lot behind the apartment complex, just be sure to keep right and try not to miss it. The entrance is super small. First floor has all your albums and merch + photobooth, and if you buy an album, you get a free coupon to take upstairs above Shake Shack. Once you present it to the owner/employee, you can select any photo card of your choosing between two designated aisles. Of course, you can purchase them as well. They also have more merch/stuffed toys/creme shop makeup/keychains upstairs. The owner is super friendly and helpful. I had trouble finding Monsta X for the freebie and he lead me right to them. He also showed me where I could find newer ones for the Reason release. Then he proceeded to ask me if I'm a Monbebe! Very wholesome interaction. The prices are so affordable! And it's a better experience buying it in store vs ordering online imo. I'll definitely be back! The owner showed me the birthday party they held for Hyungwon & Changkyun back in January and told me to come to the next one. He told me "by fans for fans," so sweet. read more

K-pop bestie has 2 floors! 1st floor, next to 7-11, has all the albums. Sometimes it takes a week? For the new cbs to get to the store, but the owner's been making an effort to get it released on time. They also hold K-pop events like cupsleeve, trading, or birthdays of idols in the first floor too! 2nd floor has merch, SG's, cute kpop related accessories, and the holy grail of OFFICIAL pcs/pob's/LDs. They have a variety of everything in these stores and the employees are really nice and helpful. You can see the growth in the store from when they first opened, and the owner himself is friendly!! My daughter who is 12 is a KPOP fanatic. She likes coming here as they have an array of albums and the upstairs location where she can get photo cards. This recent visit she opened her three pack ENHYPEN album to trade her photo cards. Upon opening she got a defective card and a double (You can only trade cards that are "official" at time of purchase) we told the staff and except the Korean girl who really wanted to help, the other girl didn't seem to interested however she called someone which I assume was the owner to verify with, which was ridiculous because we just bought this here and your item was defective. I am Korean myself but despise this kind of customer service from Korean merchants. She did eventually switch out the card but told my daughter she couldn't swap out the double card due to some lame reason. This really turned me off and my kiddo was extremely disappointed. I don't think we'll be coming back here again, our purchase was over $130. Goodbye and adios~ read more
