I've gone to them since moving here a year ago, was excited to see that they were open again. my hubby and i went in for pedicures and they had people in every other chair...which is great. Except they wanted me to sit in the 'empty' chair between my hubby and another man...which put me about 2' from the unknown person. I said 'no thank you' and had to wait about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I was ok with that and All was ok until the place started to fill up... right before i left, i counted 17 people in a small salon. There were 6-8 standing in the waiting area and the chairs were full. I guess i would say if you are at all concerned about COVID (like we are) then don't go here. They are NOT limiting the number of people inside and it's not that large a shop... i will find another place to go until there are more people vaccinated and this settles down. Sorry Fancy Nails... i love the girls here and you do a fantastic job but you aren't following precautions and I'm not going to put my health in danger. read more

There is a very rude man working in this salon (Hai?). On the first occasion he jerked my hand around and gets annoyed if the finger won't positioned like he wants it. He has a very sour personality. The length and shape of my nails were different - not uniform. The second time I went in (giving the benefit of the doubt) I explained what I wanted several times, yet he would not understand. I say "would not" because he was antagonistic as I was very plain, stating "I want them short", so nothing to get lost in translation there. My daughter was with me and witnessed it all. I finally stood up and told him he was rude last time and I'm not going to let him do my nails. He continued to be rude. I left the salon at that point. I wish to add that the ladies who have done my nails there have been polite and professional. read more

I just went here and bought the Deluxe Pedicure ($38 vs regular at $26). I should have tried this place before upgrading my service. What a disappointment. The older gentleman who was my technician ran through my service in 25 minutes and was so fast with his hands during the massage that it wasn't relaxing. He did paint my nails beautifully but I could have gotten that for $12 less. If you pay by card they charge you an extra dollar which was irritating just b/c they didn't tell me in advance and I could have paid with cash. This place is horrible. Not going back again. I've had two incidents here... this place used to be good. Incident one happened when they proceeded to make my mom and I wait for our pedicure and manicures even though I called ahead of time and they said they could see us right away. Then an American couple walked in and they sat them first.... We had literally been waiting before them and they had not called in nor made an appointment. We're Hispanic by the way. Incident two was today. I took my 15 year old sister to get a pedicure and full set for her quinceañera. She walked out crying because her nails hurt and they were horrible. She had cuts on about 5 fingers. Her cuticles were hurting her so bad. In two fingers the cuts were so deep you could see the flesh. She had mentioned she told the lady that it was hurting yet the lady didn't stop or try to be more gentle. They also use the sharp metal shaver on the sole of my moms feet which is illegal. Going back to my sister's nails...She asked for long nails and they were short. They looked nothing like what she asked for and on top of that the lady left her nails crooked. Mind you it was $60 just for a full set. Also I'm not happy about the remarks their employee made about my sister's skin color. She had asked for a magenta green and the lady told her to get another color because "her skin color didn't look well with the green". Racists much? I won't recommend this place to anyone I know. I'm so saddened it went downhill and dissatisfied. I hope my sister doesn't get an infection since I'm sure they use the same nail filers on everyone. Side note: I did call them and they kept on making me repeat what had happened. They would pass me from one person to another.... Be careful people. This place is a joke. read more

First timer. The ambiance is very relaxing and the.technicians have good communication. The $23 for a spa pedicure is worth it. They do a lotion and stone massage with it too. Omg the owner did the dipping powder and my nails look amazing!!!!! Her daughter Q is so sweet she works the front desk and specks perfect English!!!! The owner also got very deep ingrown nails out that where are killing me!!!!! Teresa did my pedicure I'm telling you she did an outstanding job and she's very picky she didn't rush she got every piece of skin near the cuticles I'm 56 and I've had my nails done forever But I've truly never been this happy. I love the great pedicure service with massages, hot towels, hot wax, cooling gel, yummy smelling sugar scrub...you get the picture... It's a wonderful experience BUT the last few times my usual Pedicurist, Lee, hasn't cut my toe nails straight across and what has resulted is Ingrown Toenails... I've almost never had ingrown toenails...so, I tried to tell her to cut them straight across & showed her a pic of my swollen middle toe...she either didn't understand or wanted not to...so, she sweetly tried to match the polish in the pic. I watched as she cut my nails again...she didn't understand my request & cut the corners deeply again and I got an ingrown toenail AGAIN...I tried to say something but there is a language barrier there... I came to do a Pedi/ Manicure. I have no complaint for the Pedicure it was great. The lady that did it she was very nice and did a great job. But the lady that did my Manicure awful service, she never put nothing to soften the cutícula, she cut some of my skin and the application of the color was bad.. oh when she did the massage on the back God I tough she was having a fight with me. I live in LA but visit family in the area every few months. I USED to love this salon. I'd wait on purpose to come here and get my nails done. Well this time was a FAIL. I will find another salon. My mother and I went in for a mani-pedi on a Thursday early afternoon, and we got someone started on our toes in a timely manner. Then when it was time for my manicure, the girl who did my toes just said that someone would be right over and went on to another customer. I waited, and waited, and waited... We kept mentioning it to the lady doing my mother's nails that I was still waiting on someone, but she didn't help at all. By the time my mother was almost done, she complained because they had started on 4-5 new people and left me stranded with no one. Finally the guy at the cash register was about to come by with the water bowl to soak my nails, I told him to forget it, because my mother was already getting nail polish and I didn't want her to have to wait. Why do they always start on new people without finishing their original client?!? When we got frustrated and complained the guy at the register didn't even seem concerned that his customers were unhappy. Walked in wanting a $30 mani/pedi combo but tech handed me a menu so i ended up getting the Royal pedicure ($45) and basic manicure ($13). . David did a fabulous job with the Royal Pedicure. Because it was close to closing and the pedicure takes about 45minutes, he had Tina step in for the manicure. i think she was in a bit of a hurry so i wasnt too impressed with the manicure (cut my nails too short and didn't ask if i wanted square or round). Although, she did massage my arms, neck and shoulders; that was nice. I'm not sure what the security cameras are about in the salon. A typical nail salon but stations are right on top of each other with no privacy at all. While there are some good manicurists there , I am completely upset with their payment policy. First of all , they don't accept American Express. Secondly , they add a $1.00 fee to all credit card sales. This is totally absurd and I have never heard of such nonsense. I have loved this place for years, I started going at the end of 2018 and my nail tech was Ann. She was great and always did amazing work. When Ann left last year I began working with a tech named Nina, but at my most recent visit, I found out she left. So, I was placed with a new tech whom I hadn't seen before. Her name was Jennifer, and after my last set, I will not be returning. She was very unprofessional and very rude. I asked for almond shaped nails, however I rather my nails be more pointed than round and she proceeded to tell me I wanted something other than almond, which I didn't. She used a color that was patchy, of course not her fault, but when I asked her if we could try fixing them with a different shade of purple, she said she did not have time and I would have to come back tomorrow to get them fixed. She left one of my fingers crooked and when I asked her if we could file the opposite side, so they looked more symmetrical, she said my fingers were crooked and that's not her fault, therefore she could not fixed it. I have never had an issues with any other tech, but apparently, my finger is crooked. Other things included her being rough with my hand and throwing down her tools, I will not be returning back to this salon, unless miraculously, Ann or Nina returns.
