Took a chance with a new groomer and I was disappointed when I picked up my dog. She had long hair and it was perfect for winter. When i picked her up they gave her a trendy summer look. We always go to Petsmart Sepulveda/Ocean (it was about the same price also) but it had become a long drive for me especially when I had errands to do by my house only. I found this place thru my coworker & she loved them. I used to take my dog at another grooming salon, but since this is closer to where I live, I decided to give her a try. Like the previous reviewer, this salon is quaint and cozy. She prefers a set appointment, but you can drop by and see if she's available and in between appointments. She is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9am-6pm. She's closed Monday and Sunday. Aurelia is very sweet and very kind to my very demanding and difficult dog (just when he's being groomed, of course). Took my dog here for the first time today. My dog has never had her nails trimmed professionally before. She had gotten too fussy and we couldn't trim her nails properly anymore. So anyway, I looked up pet grooming on YELP, and found "Fancy Paws". The ladies there are so nice and took care of my dog so well. They treated my dog like she was a special guest. They carried her into a room and quickly trimmed her nails. I could hear my dog still being her little fussy-self, but these ladies knew how to talk to her, and calm her. I was recommended this place by a co-worker. My boston terrier/pug puppy Boogie needed his nails trimed desperately so i thought I would try it out. They are located about a mile from me so that was very convenient. Called them up to set an appointment at 2pm and didnt get there till 5pm (I know, im a horrible client). I gave her my super hyper puppy and she handed me a form to fill out. I heard her talking to him and he seemed pretty calm, he doesnt like his hands being held so im sure he was about to give her trouble. She started and I was waiting to hear him cry but not once did he. I did hear him whimper very lightly a few times but she comforted him as she continued. Before I can even finish the form she was done. They have a surcharge of 50 cents to use your card but thats all I can find to complain about if thats even worth complaining about, the cut was only $6. The awesome sweet groomer is named Aurelia. I couldn't pronounce it so I had her write it on the card. Shes good and fast. read more

This place is amazing. I took my 4 year old bichon mix named Comet and he looks adorable and smells great! Everything was perfect, except he did get a razor burn in between his eyes. That's pretty much the only thing that freaked me out a little. My advice, if you are picky about how your dog is styled, then tell them exactly what you want in the beginning. Personally the way they styled my Comet I wouldn't have them do it like that again. Don't get me wrong he looks super cute and adorable but I like his face and ears less fluffy, but that's bad on my part because I didn't tell her that when I dropped him off. All I said was make him look cute lol. I'll definitely be bringing my baby back here for grooming again! I would totally recommend you bring your dog here for grooming!! Now the place is a little hard to find. If you're coming up main street from 223rd towards 220th it's literally the drive way right before you pull into Ted's. Never been let down by this tiny place of a gem. Tucked in the back of this blue-roofed building, Fancy Paws is where we take Bambam regularly for his grooming needs. We bathe & groom him at home, when it gets too long, he gets shaved down all over here, to the bare minimum. They do a good job & clean up well. He always comes home with a little cute scarf around his neck--this time they gave him minions ! His fur gradually grows in within 5-6 months. He's a pretty small dog and they only charge $40 dollars. We tip $10 because sometimes we have to pick him up a little later, for when errands are overwhelming. There is a ton of parking in the back. No, they don't have a bathroom, but that's okay. The place is kept clean. They have a little wall decked with some dog clothes and accessories. They don't have a seating area, that's how small this place is. Luckily there are some other businesses close by to keep you busy if you have not much to do but wait. Did I mention they only take cash? Would be good to have other payment options. read more

My dog shivers and cries after she got home 2 days later there was a big scar on her back, now she bites when you try to file her nails! My baby was licking her paws and a red spot under her chest which I noticed recently. Also I didn't really like the way they trimmed my dog hair, I'm taking my dog to All Star Pet Spa now.
