Where do I begin? The moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by Kyla (who happened to be who we…read morewere scheduled with). My ElliGirl took an instant liking to her. We chatted briefly and I let Kyla know I wanted every service available for my baby. She did not try to upsell services, even though I would've gladly agreed. EL & Kyla went to the grooming area and I set myself up in the waiting area to watch a movie on my IPad. Did I mention they have free guest Wi-Fi? I was also offered beverages several times and checked on to make sure I was well and comfy. The entire staff was friendly & so we're most of the clients. One client even sat and chatted with me while he enjoyed a nice flute of champs. I snuck peaks at my baby girl who looked pleasantly relaxed each time I played spy. It looked like a total spa day for her. When I knew she was almost done I went to the nearby market. I was completely unmissed because when I came back my little girl was still happily vibing with her new friend. I saw people use the self service wash which looked amazingly stocked. I usually self wash my baby somewhere else, but decided she was at a point where we would both benefit from a real groomer. So glad we did. When all was said and done Elli looked amazing! Her double coat was fully blown out! Shiny shiny shiny! Her nails were beautifully trimmed. She came out happy, bandanad, bowed and bedazzled! Total love this for her. Old, Maltipoo Buddy, was able to see Aiden that next Saturday. This would be his 2nd groomer ever, so I was pretty nervous! We dropped him off and got to meet his groomer. When he came home, we found a raw, irritated patch behind his ear that looks like it may have been cut or scraped during grooming. What makes this even worse is that NO ONE told us. Accidents can happen...we understand that. But choosing not to say anything is unacceptable. This is a baby dog experiencing his very first cut, & something like this can be traumatizing. The lack of honesty, transparency, & basic responsibility is what hurts the most. We trusted this groomer with our pup, and that trust was broken the moment they hid what happened. Walking in I was greeted by a receptionist who was very knowledgable with dogs and my concerns. Their place was very clean and neat. All workers kept protocol. My mixed poodle, Ruby had not been groomed for couple months due to COVID and I was starting to worry about mats and dryness of her skin. The receptionist recommended I give Ruby the herbal pack, it would soothe her skin and the mats. I decided to give it a go as Ruby hadn't received grooming for couple months. Once I went to pick up Ruby, she was the happiest and fluffiest dog. She came out smelling very nice, the cut was on point and the herbal pack seems to have done the job. Her fur is still soft and doesn't mat as it would have by now. Definitely would go back and really recommend the herbal pack myself!

His face and body turned out great but his butt and tail, which were areas I specifically asked to focus on, were not. His butt was uneven (left cheek was shaved down, looked neat while right cheek still had a huge chunk of hair) and his tail looked untouched. I didn't realize how bad it was until we got home. I texted the salon back immediately and sent pictures. They offered to fix it if I brought him back but we didn't have time for that. After multiple back and forth with the manager, Paulina, the only resolution they continued to offer was 10% off of a future visit. After this experience, there won't be a future visit so that's not much of a resolution. It was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend.

Paulina also spent additional time trying to clean up my shepherd's coat. She was adopted from Harbor Shelter and her coat was stained yellow. Over the course of 3-4 months, her coat returned to its original color, white. This was only possible because of Paulina and all her efforts. In addition to doing a great job, Paulina has the biggest heart. She has fostered dogs and works on getting them placed is loving homes. I honestly don't know where she finds the time and energy to do all this.
