If you want a traditional Bolivian dining experience this is a place to try. The dining area is small with limited seating. There is a list of menu items for the day of a soup and an entree. The food was delicious and if you like spicy then be sure to add the hot sauce. The staff was helpful and attentive.

Bolivian cuisine at its finest! The food was absolutely incredible and delicious, and the service was top-notch. Small Family own delight provided an unforgettable dining experience.

Being from California and the fact that there's no Bolivian restaurants in California, we attempted to eat as much Bolivian food in VA as we could. Right after our hearty delicious meal at Luzmary's down the road, my wife wanted to go try the food at Fanny's. Compared to Luzmary's, the restaurant is a lot smaller with only a small handful of tables. My wife said the food here was La Paz style instead of her home-favorite Cochabamba flavors. We ordered some bread, sopa de mani and hot dogs w/ French fries. She didn't care for the peanut soup too much because there were some bones in the bottom of the soup. She preferred the peanut soup at Luzmary's. While the bread and mini hot dog kids entrée were yummy, they were nothing to write home about. Fanny's is an limited seating restaurant with a small menu. If you are looking for La Paz style food, definitely come here.

Unfortunately, it was nothing like what we expected, and the food was extremely disappointing. Then I found out the owner is Bolivian not even Argentinian. The chimichurri was red and had a very different taste than what we expected. The green hot sauce was basically like eating raw jalapeño--extremely overpowering. The mashed potatoes were watery and very salty, and the broccoli was literally sitting in so much water that almost half of the bowl was full of it. The rice tasted like microwave rice, and the French fries were just ordinary fries. The biggest disappointment was the meat. It was extremely fatty, chewy, and had almost no flavor. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like leftovers that had been reheated. For an Argentinian restaurant, the quality and preparation of the meat should be one of the highlights, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. Honestly, we could barely eat our food and ended up leaving most of it. What made the experience even worse was that, despite barely being able to eat the food, we were still charged half of the meal. The total bill was over $85, and that included $5 for a small cup of what tasted like microwave rice. Just in case the food looks half-empty in the pictures, we did put some of the food onto our plates to try it. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat it, so that's why some of the containers look partially empty. As someone who was genuinely looking forward to trying Argentinian food, this experience was incredibly disappointing. In my opinion, this restaurant does not represent the quality or flavors that people expect from Argentinian cuisine. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I would not return.

I'm from Ecuador and we have "humitas", which are basically as close as Bolivian "humintas", these are definitely like the "creole/criollas" style in my country! using sweet corn than the ones using white corn (more savory). These Humintas are huge! Love how thick and still moist are! The cheese was salty enough to break through the sweetness of the corn masa. If you like cornbread, this is definitely elevated corn bread! The cashier asked me if I wanted these to be put in the oven to reheat in case I wanted to eat there, but I was taking them home for dinner, so I didn't. They have outdoor seating if you want to eat the baked goods! The humintas and most of the baked items are $3.50, which is a reasonable price for how big are! Definitely will try other things but humintas/humitas are my fav!
