Ordered from Doordash. They had a deal on 2 bento boxes for a little over $20. And my caveman brain took the bait. 2 bento teriyaki chicken boxes with mixed vegetables and fried rice. I have no clue how this place gets this high a rating. I will fully admit that I should have gone into that price point realizing quality would be sacrificed. And if you are trying to feed a family on a budget you could do worse. Because their highest marks come from quantity. I dare anyone to finish a whole bento box in one sitting. There is a lot of food, and for that much at that price, that is commendable. And that is where the praise stops. Everything felt like buffet food that was prepared days before. I wanted to like it, because my wallet did, but everything besides the teriyaki was off or just subpar. Mixed vegetables was just 95% cabbage and one tiny piece of broccoli. The rolls were soggy and off. The fried rice was obviously mass cooked and mushy and just not good. And whatever you do, don't eat the sushi. Worst California roll I've eaten. Tasted like it was three days old. I had to write this because I've been working on a project at home and wanted a lot of food relatively cheap that I could eat for a few meals. Everything felt greasy and old except the teriyaki. That was alright but certainly not good. I ate the teriyaki and threw most of the rest out. I'd give it a 2.5 because of the amount of food, but I wish I'd spent that $28 (after deliver and fees) on a much better meal. read more

I've passed by this restaurant many many times but I never tried it. Tonight was the night. I was comparing it to the local mall teriyaki and this was definitely better bang for the buck. The sauce was good, the chicken was plentiful but the fried rice and noodles weren't that great. I think next time I would get white rice and ask for extra sauce that the rice would absorb. Really not great. Not good even. The dumplings are straight up store bought ordered Gyoza fried too much. I also had a Wonton soup, and a beef noodle to sample. The broth was the same for both and was sortof an amateur ramen broth. It didnt fit the wonton soup at all. What makes this rating so low is there was an eerie fish smell shrimp aftertaste to it all. Where do i even start, i've been going to this spot for 2 years since it opened mostly for their Grilled Beef Udon Noodle Soups which in my opinion is the best on their menu. The soup had incredibly juicy tender beef and delicious bok choy, but then they started messing around with their soups switching the bok choy to broccoli, changing the broth and the meat was no longer that much tender. On top of that they increased the prices of their soups and possibly the entirety of their menu. The Grilled Beef Udon Noodle Soup was originally $7.45(when it was really tasty and better quality) but now it's $7.99(with the lesser quality ingredients). But that was not the main problem of what happened today. Today i went to get a soup from this place for the first time in a while, i order the soup and give my server a $10 and she gives me .30¢ back which had me really shocked leading me to think they raised the prices again. This was when i looked at the register and noticed something really off, it said N4: Seafood Udon Noodle Soup. So i let my server know and she changes it and the price is changed from $9.00 + 70¢ tax to $8.45+ .75¢ tax making the price $9.20, but the register still said N4: Seafood Udon Noodle Soup but i didn't pay no mind to it due the price being lower. This was until i realized a huge mistake from my server's part. I looked back at the original menu, the original menu says N4: Seafood Udon Noodle Soup: $8.45 and N3: Grilled Beef Udon Noodle Soup: $7.99 I look back at my receipt and it says N3 the soup i always get but with N4's price, $8.45. I realized she ripped me off but by then it was too late, 5 to 10 seconds later my order was ready and i didn't want to seem like a male "Karen" so i picked up my order and left. I'm not going to this place ever again due to the fact she ripped me off twice, she's probably done it many times before and i just didn't realize and god knows how many times she(my server) and the rest of their staff have done it. read more

My new "I'm in the mood for Chinese spot"! Ordered takeout and was super excited to test this place out. Tried the pork and spicy beef buns which were really good. Although the pork was my favorite as it had that sweet and savory taste. Also ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice and the wonton noodle soup. Both were great portions and fresh quality. All the food was packaged carefully in separate containers. The soup even came in 2 different bowls - one for the noodles, wontons and bok choy and the other for the broth. Great hidden gem of a place. Although it's right on the corner of a busy intersection the place always seems rather low key. As all the menu and posters will tell you the teriyaki chicken is my go to every time. I suggest swapping out the rice for some lo mein but the rice is the bomb as well, so you can't go wrong. They have a 3 for $1 special right now on these delicious dumplings right now, so definitely give those a try and maybe get a ton to share with the homies. So happy I stumbled upon Fansway Teriyaki Kitchen. My partner and I were walking to a different restaurant one day and we've passed by this place so much we just decided to walk in and try it. It definitely DID NOT disappoint. They have a variety of teriyaki dish options, and a daily special so keep your eyes peeled for that!! My favorite menu item is definitely the $1 fried dumplings (3). This the best Asian place I've ever been too. My family was very satisfied as well when we finished eating everything we bought here. Everything is amazing including the service. The only thing is the waiting. Whenever we come here we have to wait at least 15 mins & sometimes more for all our food to be served but that's understandable since many people come to this place & there's only about 2 people working in the kitchen.
