Ordered some delivery tonight and gave it a chance. The food was not bad, it was decent, however, I'm a little scared to find out what "hot" would be if I ordered it. Mild, which I thought would've been the safest option other than "none", for a little flavor... that was a mistake. The rice I ordered was mild enough, but it also was lighting my mouth on fire, so much so, that I drank down the Thai iced tea I ordered in less than a minute. Which also was decent, except that it was a cup filled with ice and not a ton of Thai iced tea. But for the price point, what am I to expect? I can't speak to the ambience of the service as I was not in person., however, the crab Rangoon are homemade and quite delicious. They were very stuffed and were the highlight of the meal other than the fried crispy chicken I got on top of the rice. Thank God, it was placed on top and not mixed in, or else I wouldn't have been able to eat the entrée much than a few bites. I'd maybe order it again... maybe. I got the pad Thai and my friend got the drunken noodle. I got to try some of her drunken noodle and the spice level option was put to spicy, which is the second most spicy option. It was indeed spicy and it made me have to drink some water quite a lot. Maybe I would get mild next time. I love spicy but as much as I hate to admit it, I'm not as good with spice as I'd like. The soup was filled with fresh veggies in a clear, spicy broth. There was a special going on so I got an additional soup for free. The flat noodles had garlic and oil drizzled on them; so tasty. And the Garlic basil fried tofu was soo yummy. My mom ate some and she dislikes tofu; so thats saying alot. From placing my order, to it being delivered, took 20 minutes! Such fast service. I ordered two lunch specials today. Each lunch special is supposed to come with an appetizer; fried vegetable dumplings were selected for both orders. Thai Ros Thip had the nerve to send one burnt old tasting and looking dumpling in a bag per order. It tasted like it had been cooked and sat there for hours, then reheated and sat out for hours again...Disgusting. I bit it and spit it out! The inside was mushy and nasty. Not only did they try to pass off serving one dumpling as a appetizer, they had the nerve to send one old mushy dumpling per meal. On to the meals.... Each meal had shrimp as the protein. They put 4 shrimps per meal which is less than any Thai place that I have ever tried. The string beans in the Pad Pak Ruam were not fully cooked and overall the meal barley had any flavor at all. The sauce tasted like brown liquid with no seasoning. The sauce Shrimp Ginger Sautéed Meal had a bit of flavor simply because it had ginger in it. I don't know if their food is horrible like this everyday or today they just missed the mark. This order left me immediately regretting not ordering from one of the Thai restaurants that I typically support and instead wanting to try something new... Yuck read more

Found this little place hidden away in Buchwock and completely fell in love with the food. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the lady who served me who was extremely friendly. I loved how the restaurant is very casual and quiet. I ordered curry puffs, calamari and ginger chicken. All were amazing it was so much food I ended up taking half home since I couldn't finish it. The calamari was cooked well and came with a sweet dipping sauce, curry puff as were crunchy on the outside and soft on the insode and had a good flavor, the ginger chicken was amazing and came with a big side of rice. def coming back here on a date if i ever find someone to date me lol. read more

A great spot! I ordered through seamless, the Pad Kee Mao lunch special w/ chicken that came with two fried chicken filled dumplings, in addition to a tom yum soup w/ chicken. The spice options were medium, spicy, and very spicy. I usually go for medium, so that is what I chose. I will say, the medium was spicier than many other places "medium," but I do enjoy spice so all was fine, but if you have a lower tolerance just a heads up! The noodles in the pad kee mao were silky and well cooked. They didn't clump together, instead defined broad sheets. Really lovely! The dumplings were tasty as was the sweet dipping sauce. They were packed with ground chicken, not a little dollop, a full filling. Finally the tom yum soup was a nice level of spicy vs sour and had a good amount of chicken and veggies in it. This is a new Thai spot in Bushwick that just opened in the last week or so. I decided to try it for lunch and got a Pad Kee Mao with tofu. It was ready ahead of time and within 15 minutes which was awesome, and the staff was very nice when I stopped in to pick it up. For $10.99, this was a solid lunch. Recently opened spot. Glad I gave them a try. Enjoyed I could pick a spiciness level of my Pad Thai. The shrimp rolls were awesome, nice and big shrimp in them. Look forward to trying some more of my favorite dishes. Wish their crab Rangoons didn't have celery in them but that's my own problem! Fairly cheaper than most other Thai spots in the area and I'd argue they have the best green curry too- perfect spice level and the perfect portion, as some places tend to go a little light with the amount of rice they give you, Thai Ros Hip is not skimping. This shares the same address as a ghost kitchen type restaurant on Door Dash under 'Vegan Thai' which I find slightly suspicious. Due to a severe shellfish allergy, I find it safer to eat at places that do not prepare or cook shellfish. With that said, it comes off as dishonest business to advertise yourself as a vegan establishment via delivery app and not a vegan menu from a non-vegan establishment. I was under the impression that I'd be ordering from a facility that houses no shellfish and axed out the possibility of cross-contamination but with no other information on the internet regarding 'Vegan Thai', I'm lead to believe this is the same place. read more

Cute place! Tiny! They got the wall done a few months ago and it's adorable. The service is really fast and the family is so, so sweet. Prices are very good for the portion (and a single entree will absolutely serve as a meal) and the food is exceptional--the curries are rich and flavorful, and you can really tell the house isn't skimping out on coconut milk, spices, etc. Really fresh veggies too! I live beside a Thai place in Raleigh that really let me down. My small hometown has a great Thai place (Mion River) similar to the highly recommended Sabai in Richmond, but this spot is better than both of them. If you love spicy food I highly recommend getting that, but it isn't for everyone. read more
