I was excited to try the food here. I walked in and placed my order. I was told about 10 minutes so I waited in the car. After about 15 min I went back in and waited. While waiting, I watched the scallion pancake from my order be placed on a "clean" paper towel ON TOP of where she had just handled raw meat. I asked her twice to please move it. She ignored me until the man from the back asked her what was going on. She aggressively threw the pancake out and told me they would make a new one. I obviously was not happy as I had already been waiting. After the attitude; I asked for a refund. The gentleman was fine and gave me back my money. Suddenly... SHE speaks. And proceeds to argue with me and aggressively come at the counter. The man actually had to push her back. Too bad. Now into Google. read more

My favorite go to restaurant!!! Food is always so delicious... all of it!! Steamed Wontons w/ the Peanut Sauce(ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS). Their PU PU PLATTER is a great appetizer... not on the new menu, but they happily make it and already cooked for you so their is no need for the mini sterno grill that you get in traditional places!! I am sad about moving out of Eat Rockaway for a few reasons, Far Sing is one of them. Best food in the area, on top of that their staff- including the owner- are nothing less than amazing. Without asking they knew to pack every delivery with chili sauce, hot sauce, spicy mustard in souffle cups and extra noodles. Food was delivered fast and hot. I will miss their courtesy and food. Been scouring the area for a good, decently priced Chinese take out. Tonight I believe we have found some where to return to. Ordered the chicken and broccoli dinner as well as a sesame chicken dinner. Egg rolls we're very good. Nice chunks of meat and I was surprised with how meaty the sesame was. Usually it is filled with hard, fat bits but there was none of that here. Only 2 things I think could be better. The fired rice was OK. A bit dry but still tasty. I wish they had added a bag noodles :( Other then that, it was very good and delivery was very quick and price was a bit cheaper then others in area and this was the best of them all. I will defiantly be coming back next time we order out. read more
