I've been a customer of Yummy Yummy for awhile and have generally enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. When I paid by credit card, I was charged a substantial additional fee (12%!!!) that was not clearly disclosed beforehand. There was no warning on their website or sign at the register and no indication that paying by credit card would result in a significantly higher charge. When I politely questioned the fee, the hostess told me I didn't know how to do math and spoke to me in a condescending manner. She aggressively told me she only charged me 10% (as if that was legal or any better). There is no reason for a customer to be treated disrespectfully for asking a simple question about their bill. The issue wasn't the money--it was the lack of disclosure and the dismissive response when I asked a simple question about my bill. Customers deserve transparency regarding pricing and to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Sadly, this experience left a very negative impression and will make me think twice before returning. read more

Came here for dinner with a few friends. We were immediately seated and greeted by the servers at the front. We ordered the 4 roll combo and a few specialty rolls - everything was really tasty!! It felt like a good value for the price. For dessert we tried the fried ice cream which my only advice would be to make the outer fried part a bit more crispy :) They have plenty of seating and nice AC which was great on this hot day. read more

I know that there are many sushi places up and down the strip but if you have not tried yummy yummy, you have to give them a try because they offer more than sushi. The menu has hibachi & even some Thai dishes. Parking isn't so bad there's parking Infront of you are lucky in the parking area across the street be patient if it's during a busy time you will find something. It's also a great place to bring children, to watch the game and the drinks are on point. Service was good she was attentive and speedy getting our orders in fast to ensure fast service we appreciated it. My boyfriend and I had lychee martini's and they were really good filled to the brim. For appetizer we got the crab wontons which are made like my childhood so good I had to order another batch before my food even came I mean they were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the duck Bao buns he thought they were really good and of course we ordered the edamame. For our dishes we ended up getting about 5 different sushi rolls which we liked. The dumplings were generic Chinese takeout dumplings, the scallion pancakes would've been better if they were eaten the second they were cooked but they hardened during delivery. Whatever. What I loved is that they have vegetarian Chinese options like vegan general tso's that isn't made from tofu but SEITAN! The best. They have tofu as well but seitan reigns supreme. Got take out for the first time and didn't have high hopes bc the menu is so big but the food came fast, was warm, packaged well and was great! The sesame noodles are a ginormous portion, the buns and chicken were great, the chicken was big white meat pieces, the mango in the mango tuna roll could have been sweeter but its not in season so makes sense. read more

Just had a very disappointing experience at Yummy Yummy. Figured we were safe with sesame chicken but was dry with absolutely no sauce, which made the chicken lacking in flavor and the rice useless. I've been searching for a good sit down Asian restaurant, I found Yummy Yummy on Yelp. There is street parking available. There is a bar when you walk in, the restaurant isn't overly decorated. I ordered shrimp and broccoli, general Tso's chicken and both dishes were good. The service is poor, my waitress attitude was very nonchalant she gave us the bare minimum in bringing out the food and giving us the check. We had to ask for everything, she would drop it and leave never giving us time to ask for anything else. Never asked if we wanted dessert or if everything was ok. Was walking around Long Beach for a place to grab dinner and ended up stopping at Yummy Yummy Asain Bistro and it exceeded our expectations! We deciced to get the pan seared chinese dumplings and boneless ribs for our appetizers. The dumplings were nice and crisp on the outside. The pork inside was savory and sweet and the sauce it came with tied everything together. The boneless ribs were pieces of their bbq pork ribs tossed in a sweet sauce. These were seriously addictive. For our main course we decided to split the triple crown which came with shrimp, beef, chicken, and vegetables tossed in a brown sauce. The vegetables were super fresh and the pieces of shrimp were huge! We were too stuffed for dessert but ill definitely be coming back. I think we found our go to spot! read more

He loves sushi but I'm more of a hibachi girl and they have so many delicious options for both. The restaurant is so cute and has such a welcoming warm vibe. It's very nice and clean inside. This place is so much better than we expected. The sushi was excellent and the appetizers very tasty. The fish was fresh and included a decent variety of options. The sake list is adequate and we recommend the Taisetsu for a crisp and refined taste. And the cocktails were well made and the bartender even came over to make sure we liked them. One star off for asking for our drink order about 8 seconds after we sat down at the table, and foe bringing one drink ten minutes before the other we ordered at the same time.
