Beware, I highly recommend that you DO NOT use this store for iPhone repairs. I bough a phone in for a cracked screen and it cost $80, One hour later then phone fell from a couch to a soft carpet and a crack appeared in the new glass. I looked for the owner to fix this as clearly the work he did was not good enough, and he completely refused and hung up the phone on me. Bring your phone somewhere else to get this fixed. The owner also said "This happens all the time, we don't guarantee the screen" so obviously this is not a place you want to trust with your phone or any electronic device. Terrible service and a total rip off. Scam artists! Do not waste your time or money here. They gave us a defective phone screen, which did not detect any touch and popped back out one day after being put into the phone, and developed 4 cracks within 24 hours without being dropped once. They refused to give us a new screen or a refund despite telling us that there was a lifetime warranty before purchase. They acted like we were lying about the condition of the phone and what had happened to us. The clerk got increasingly more sassy and developed an attitude with us as we tried to explain to her what had happened-- that the screen POPPED OUT of the phone less than 24 hours after they had 'repaired' it, and then developed random cracks without being dropped our squeezed at all. She tried to blame the cracks on the phone itself, saying that my model of phone (iPhone 6s) is defective when it comes to screens and bends. That is bullshit. On top of that, we waited almost half an hour to be recognized standing in the shop with only one person in front of us and three workers behind the counter. Total highway robbery. Do not waste money here. Any place that gives warranties and then rebukes them is not worth the time. They sell every product 'as is' and then lie about having a warranty, and if you bring back the product when you discover it is defective, they accuse you of dropping it and lying about it. I even overheard the clerks talking to each other saying 'customers do it all the time. They buy from us, drop the product and then claim they bought it broken'. I'm calling BULL. This place needs to be reported to the better business bureau and SHUT DOWN. read more

My phone was checked for baseline functionality. Immediately after my phone screen was replaced with in 20 minutes. The workers were friendly polite. I was satisfied with the fix. I got a free case! Recommend this place for any type of phone or electronic repairs, needs, or questions. I called on a Saturday at 3 about my cracked iPhone 8. They told me to come down and they had my screen fixed with a new screen protector and case on it in no more than 20 minutes and for a great price. Everywhere else I have called for this has either told me they can't do it, they don't have the screen, it will take up to a couple hours and cost 130 or more. I have been trying to get this phone fixed for months. These guys took me the day I called and had my phone fixed quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful. I dropped it off and came back an hour later and for a very fair price they replaced the screen and gave me an additional screen protector for a few dollars more! I was very impressed with how quickly they did the repair & now my phone even looks brand new again! I would have given 5 stars but I knocked off one star cuz the hours on door said 10:30 and that's when I got there and waited, but the owner got there around 11:15 to open the store. Let's just say I dropped my iPhone 5 like it was hot yesterday, and though it didn't shatter, the screen went totally black. I called these guys because I live in Montclair, and they told me to bring it over so they could either fix the problem or replace the screen. When I got there, they quickly assessed the situation, opened the phone up, tightened a few wires and screws, and soon the screen was working again! No need for a new screen, though they did replace a part that had been left out the last time I had my phone repaired when I lived in Virginia, and they also installed a hard plastic screen protector that they actually glued onto the phone (I hate those flimsy screen protectors that leave bubbles on my screen). For all of that they only charged me $50 and they were extremely fast and efficient, so I am a very happy customer! read more

I unequivocally recommend this business. I phone had a cracked screen that needed repair. The screen was repaired quickly and efficiently. Over the course of the week, however, I noticed my phone glitching and crashing (phone worked perfectly prior to repair). My iPhone 5 screen lock stopped working reliably about 1 week ago and required mashing it 10 to 20x before it would actually work. (I had dropped it quite a few times and I refuse to use a case). I went to the apple store and did NOT like my options: A. Pay $270 for a replacement B. Upgrade before I was due for $400 C. GTFO because I don't have apple care After realizing apple is no longer the company they used to be and the customer service had DRASTICALLY declined since the production of the first iPhone. I decided to find my own solution. I found this small shop in Montclair with a group of guys that seemed pretty knowledgeable about phones and tech stuff. I was extremely weary at first because of the store size and.....internal décor LOL. But I went ahead and took the chance of letting them take a look at phone. To make a long story short, they fixed my button for way cheaper than apple. I would give 4 and a half stars if I had the option because there were a few miscommunications after they ran into minor problems (said my phone needed parts that they didn't have in stock, but "found some 2hrs later"), but I'll round it up to 5 stars because after they 'found the parts' they stayed open past their normal business hours to make sure my phone was finished the same day so I wouldn't have to go without a phone for a day. Ask for the guy named "AK" and tell him you read the guy named Lee who put a long review on yelp, maybe he will hook you up with a competitive price. Still do you part and be a smart business shopper and call multiple shops to get quotes for your work. I paid a little more here than another shop (which was ok for me because the other place was like 20 miles away and they wanted to keep my phone for 24hrs) So you can weigh in what's worth paying more for. Just got my phone fixed here. Over the phone I was told it would take 3 hours but it only took 2. I almost cried when I saw how beautiful my fixed screen was. It works as good as new and I am beyond happy. The price was $90 to replace my screen whereas radio shack costs $250...what a rip! I'm so happy I got the best deal ever and that my phone looks as good as new. The dude who fixed it was extremely friendly and hilarious. I've just noticed my camera isn't working! I then realized my cameras weren't working and they gladly fixed the front camera! I've been here twice: the first time was because my phone wouldn't charge and the 2nd time was because the back of my iPhone glass was finally cracked completely that it affected how it functioned. I was under a time restraint the 2nd time I came because I was going out of the country in 2days. They were able to fix my phone both times and give me a discount for my 30th birthday on the service, the case, and the glass screen protector the 2nd time I came in (this was all for less than $100).
