I dropped off my Iwatch 4 series to have the battery replaced 10 days ago and it was returned to me 2 days later. After having it for just 2 days, the front screen and digitizer popped off. My husband dropped it off again and picked it up 2 days later, but the front screen and digitizer were no longer working. I dropped it off again and they first said they would call me back in 2 hours, but then called days later saying it still was not fixed and they would let me know once the owner made a decision. My husband decided to pick it up and get the original $60 battery replacement fee back. No one explained what went wrong with the digitizer and the staff kept referring us to a higher authority that was never available to discuss the issue. I sent in a working Apple watch to have the battery replaced, and after all the back and forth, have a non-working Apple watch now. At least I got a refund without hesitation, but now it will cost me $120 to replace the digitizer and front of my watch. Not a reliable battery replacement experience and a lot of extra trouble just to get a refund and an unusable watch back. read more

This place is awesome!!! Twice in the last 3 weeks, my son's iPad 2 screen cracked, and both times, the shop rushed to fix it the same day so it could go back to school with him the next day. The first time, they had to drive all the way up to Hackensack to get an iPad 2 screen, because they are older and harder to come by. They made the drive to get it, then stayed till 8:00pm to get the iPad done the same day. The most amazing thing they did for me was last week... my boyfriend suffered a serious brain injury while we were on vacation in California for New Years. He is stuck in the hospital in California, and having great difficulty communicating. So I wanted to get him an inexpensive refurbished iPad so we could Facetime each other now that I'm back in New Jersey. When I told the shop employees what the iPad was for, they charitably cut the price a lot! These guys not only go the extra mile to meet their customers' needs. They also have huge hearts. Normally, I'd sit down spend a couple of hours trying to fix my cracked device screens but just my luck i shattered my iPad screen two nights before my plane flight and i knew I couldnt order a replacement screen and do repairs in time. I scrambled online to fine some local repair shops around the Newark area that can do the job same day and came across Faraj.... went to their shop bright and early with a glorious cracked iPad Air screen - came back in the afternoon with a fresh mint screen and a screen protector. As a guy who fiddles with tech on a daily basis it only took me 2 seconds without even holding it to know that these guys did a good job. iPad Air Digitizers (the touch screen) are more meticulous than their iPhone cousins. I brought my device to Faraj Enterprise expecting a professional repair experience. What I got instead was a three-week wait, an inflated bill, and a repair I was never properly informed about. After finally getting my device back, I discovered the real reason for the unusually long turnaround: the owner had sourced a used part off eBay rather than ordering a new replacement. Not once was I told this upfront or given the option to choose. I was charged as if the work was done properly with new parts, which makes the pricing feel completely unjustified. Customers deserve transparency. If you plan to use secondhand parts, say so before the repair, give a price that reflects that, and let the customer decide. Doing it quietly and then charging full price is not how a trustworthy repair shop operates. THESE GUYS KNOW THEIR SH#T!!!!!!! I came across this little gem simply walking down to the bus stop after work just to find out a few things about fixing my iPhone. There were two guys working there and not only did they provide a knowledgable, in depth response to each and every one of my questions (sorry guys I did ask a ton of questions) in a manner of which any average joe will understand the phone they are looking to fix/purchase. On top of that they were very polite, very friendly, and easy going guys who really know their products. They fixed both the front and back screen to my iPhone4 and it's PERFECT, and it only took the guy about a half an hour! It doesn't stop at iPhones either people. The other week I busted the screen of my Nexus 4 smartphone right before getting on the train to work. As soon as I got to work I checked out nearby phone repair places. In Manhattan, places like Mobile Spa were asking me upwards of $200 just to repair a 4 inch screen...So I googled phone repair in Montclair, found Faraj Gadget Repair and called them. They were very helpful on the phone and stayed open late enough for me to stop by after work. I got there around 7:00 pm. Unlike other phone repair places, they actually had the parts needed on site and did the repair in a little over an hour. Super friendly guys working there. Extremely helpful and knowledgable. Super Service! I broke a business phone at lunch time. Called around to shops local to Clifton, but nobody had a screen for my LG G3 in stock. Most everyone quoted from tomorrow, and up to a ten days, to get the part and make the repair. Faraj was the only one who offered to get the screen and make the repair today, even if he had to stay late. He only asked that I come in and prepay for the repair, which seemed fair to me. I got to his shop after 2 PM, and he was still able to get the screen, and have the phone back in my hands by 7:30, about a half hour after his normal closing time. He tested the phone in my presence, and fully guarantees the repair. Even with all this, his price was very competitive, with no 'rush' charge. Great job!! Took phone to Device Repair in Westfield NJ ...technician said the previous glass screen repair (Faraj Enterprise) used cheap thin glass screen parts ..hence the grid lines seen on the screen which caused the damage to the LCD board ..hence the purple lines on the screen. He said there was absolutely NO damage from dropping the phone evidenced by zero cracks or chips on the glass. He said they see this all the time when cheap parts are used and repair technicians use "dropped phone" as an excuse so not to claim fault and take responsibility to repair. My daughter broke the end of her iPhone charger in both her iPad minis. I thought it was going to be an expensive and time-consuming repair, but the staff put me at ease. I dropped off the tablets and within an hour the owner called me to give me 2 options. The more expensive option would be to completely replace the charging ports, but he would first try to just remove the pieces from the port. He was ultimately successful and my daughter was very happy to have her electronics back. This is a very professional business that goes above and beyond to do a good job. I shattered my iphone screen the day before I was going out of town. They fit in an appointment for me to get it repaired right away. The fixed it in 15 minutes and did a great job. When I was away on my trip I noticed an issue with the screen and emailed them. Very happy with my recent experience at faraj enterprise. I had my iPad 4th gen screen repaired and they did a great job! I read all the good reviews on this place so I decided to bring my iPhone in for a minor repair. My button fell off and the guy working (not sure his name) replaced it for me. He took my phone apart to replace the button and I was out of there in under an hour. He was super cool and it was obvious that he's very knowledgeable about his work. These guys were great. I was in and out quickly and they fixed the broken screen on my iPhone 5 in front of me. The repair ran $85, or very nearly half the price quoted by the Apple Store. Actually, Apple took a look at it and said they couldn't fix it due to a minor dent in the case. These guys straightened out the dent for free. Nice people, great service, cash only. read more
