Our shrubs were often chopped in odd ways, as if the trimmers were run through them quickly and haphazardly. We eventually decided it was better to maintain our bushes and shrubs ourselves. The lawn mowing and edging are generally good, but we were really disappointed to find that the trunks of our young perimeter shrubs had been damaged. It seems that because the mower couldn't fit, an edge trimmer was used around the trunks, but without enough care, resulting in deep nicks to the thin bark.
