Stopped on our way back to SLC from Green River. Our niece was with us and wanted pasta, so we chose to come here. The atmosphere was nice with lots of cool old photos from the town, some antiques, and an old-fashioned ice cream parlor vibe, but that's about as far as the good vibes went. The waitress seemed annoyed that we were there. It was a Saturday night and beyond the couple eating there, the place was deserted. The four kids all ordered some variation on pasta, my husband had the fish and chips, and I ordered a side order of sausage and fries. Our food was hot and freshly cooked (and enormous serving sizes)...however, most of it was completely flavorless. Our kids who love pasta complained that it tasted bad. If you like Chef Boyardee, this place will suit you just fine. For us, though, it was awful. My sausage was okay, but it was in a strange long, flat patty. The fries came out like a brick the shape of the fry basket, but weren't salted. I don't know how they did it, but the potatoes were dry and flavorless in that brick o' fries. Farlaino's has been around as far back as I can remember. I remember my mom taking us for burgers and curly fries when I was just little. Amazingly, the burgers and the curly fries are just as good as they always have been. If you're in Price and want to have a great lunch or dinner, Farlaino's is a great spot. Yum! read more

We stopped here early one Saturday morning for breakfast. We were led here by a convenience store clerk and customer. How is is possible to make such thick pancakes - cooked all the way through? It's an Italian restaurant that only serves 4 Italian meals?! My kid's spaghetti tasted like it came from a can, the clam chowder was more like separated potato soup. Plates were full! Fresh cut curly fries were great!!! The WAIT for our Hamburgers was ridiculous! We stopped because we were starving and didn't want to wait until we got to Provo to eat. Despite the italian flag on the restaurant's sign this place reminded me of a quaint mom + pop joint with burgers, greasy french fries and the regular diner fare with a few italian options on the menu. At 11:45, we had still not been served, even though the place was nearly empty and others who came later were eating. The waitress kept saying "soon, soon," but nothing happened. Very friendly staff. Kids enjoyed reading the trivia pages, looking at picture on the walls and games while we waited. Food was tasty if a bit on the oily side. Food came quickly, was hot, portions that filled us up, and fed the family of 5 on 42 dollars - more expensive than fast food but better than some sit-down places. We ordered a burrito, French toast, BLT, kids pasta meal, and a spaghetti and meatballs The Green Chile on the "special" burrito I had was great - not "Hatch" NM, great, but really tasty. We just happened to stop in here for breakfast on our way to Moab. So glad we did. It's a little mom and pop place, which we like to patronize. I ordered the Italian sausage omelette with the green chili sauce. It was an entire slab of delicious sausage wrapped in an omelette covered in amazing green chili. Hash browns were to die for. Don't know how they make em, but trust me...order them you won't be disappointed. Service was efficient and friendly. Downright the worst meatball sandwich over ever had. Subway honestly does it better. The meatball itself tastes like the cook forgot that sage, basil, or even salt exists. They're grey little flavorless balls of chopped meat. The flavor of the sauce is too delicate for the Swiss cheese they put on, as it quickly overpowers everything like The Rock fighting Stephen Hawking. All you taste is poorly chosen Swiss cheese. The fries would have been better if lightly salted and less greasy, however the fries are ultimately mostly awesome. What they do to meatball sandwiches should be a criminal offense. read more

Me and my wife went here on our 10th wedding anniversary for Breakfast...it was about 11am when we arrived at the Cafe, and I was thinking we missed their breakfast hour but when I checked out their menu, it said Breakfast is served ALL DAY. Anyway when we walked in it looked like an Mom and Pop Cafe, good spacing, and we were greeted at the door for any seat we want. We both ordered breakfast......Now Listen.....I ordered an Ham and Cheese omelette with a side of hash browns, and toast...costed only $8.99(drink not included). My wife ordered Biscuits and Gravy, and french toast. When I got my plate the omelette was HUGE with alot of cheese in the middle and REAL HAM(not chopped up sandwich ham) with 1/2 the plate filled with hash browns! My wife's plate came with 4 biscuits FLOODED to the rim with gravy, and 4 full slices of French Toast. The portions were SO LARGE, they make Denny's and IHOP look like beginners in the restaurant business.....I'm serious! The meat was GREAT, Tasted so good my wife finished everything on both her plates..and she barely does when we go out to eat. I would MOST DEFINITELY come back! I can't even believe i place like this still exist today...I hope they never go out of business! read more

Finally got in here for breakfast and it was by far the best in Price. I dont think I found breakfast this good and home made in Utah county either. The pancake was a good 16 inches across, biscuts and gravy was awsome. I thought the sausage was made in house but they have a joint in Helper make and it was the best breakfast sausage Ive ever had. Light seasoning but like a ground pork chop...really good. This is worth the travel and worth finding. Cant wait to try the lunch menu. Wow. And not the good wow, either. Please do yourself a favor (if you're not a local, who all really seem to love this place) and eat anywhere else--Wendy's or McDonalds would have been tastier and fresher (and we abhor such chains)! My husband got the Country Style Scramble platter: soaked in flavorless gravy, metallic tasting and uninspired. I got the Teriyaki chicken sandwich with a salad and fries. Here on Yelp you'll notice innumerable pictures of the mile-high curly fries. Don't be misled; they cram way too many into the fry bucket, plunge them into oil until the fries are all stuck together in a greasy mash, and serve them soggy. Another fun feature was my salad. It would behoove you to order your dressing on the side unless you prefer the lettuce to accompany a terrifying amount of dressing. No joke--I'm fairly sure there was an actual half cup of ranch on top of the iceberg, which made most of it inedible. Our small kids shared a fish and chips plate-- three scary and over fried from frozen wedges of sadness. Don't forget the fries on that one too: exactly the same as the first. Service was also lacking. Never were we asked if we wanted drink refills or checked at all for the quality of our food. No surprise there, in hindsight. :-) read more

This is just plain good grub. Artery clogging, cholesterol raising food at its best. Service is old style 'whatya havin Hon'. Great comfort food in a very laid back comfortable atmosphere. When the wait staff knows 90% of the customers on a first name basis you know they have some dedicated regulars. We were passing through and by the time we left we felt very at home. Well from what I can gather there isn't much in this town but we needed a late lunch after being on the road for several hours. This place was just average. I wouldn't call it a cafe, diner or restaurant. Almost a food hall. I had the green chilli chicken sandwich. The entire bottom of th plate was swimming in sauce making the burger difficult to eat. My fiancé got the turkey sandwich which was very processed. Not much competition in Price so this might be the best option. read more

Since I summer in the area, I have been a regular diner for 10 years. It has always been hit or miss, but the last few times it been all misses. The food is greasy and is served either way too hot to eat or ice cold. The burgers are below average, a 4 out of 10. Their fries are greasy and unappetizing. I think people are wowed by how big their portions are. That's only a good thing when the food is good. Helen's burrito was once a standout on the menu, but is now a real unappealing mess. I always give a favorite restaurant a 2nd chance after a bad meal. I've given way too many 2nd chances to Farlaino's, so I dropped them. Too bad, the wait staff is great and a lot of fun. read more
