First time dining here. It's a fast food chain. You go up to the counter to place your order. We had the 3 tenders and fries and the classic chicken sandwich. You had a choice of spice level: Mild (cayenne pepper), medium (jalapeño), spicy (habanero). There are 2 more spice levels: lift off and Houston, we have a problem - which requires a waiver! Ha! Ha! We ordered the tenders mild and spicy on the classic chicken. There's definitely habanero spice but it wasn't overwhelming. Guess lift off would be spicier yet. Chicken sandwich was flavorful and we really enjoyed it. It came with Kringle cut potatoes. Also had a house sauce which really helped tone the spice level and complemented the flavor well. There's a soda fountain machine for soft drinks as well as sweetened and unsweetened iced tea. Service was friendly. There's about 7 tables to sit inside for dine in options. They also have catering packages. You will need a code to access the gender neutral restroom. Will come back and try the lift off spice next time. read more

I got the medium level of spice and I fear for the lives of people who get it any hotter. Maybe I'm a baby, but I can guarantee people who love spice will love this place. Excellent flavor and spice distribution. EXCELLENT sauce selection that takes everything up a notch. Even the fries were good. Hip Hip Hooray, they open late! We love their drive thru after a long day at work. Their milkshake is so good but we didn't care for the one with the waffle on it, there is a ton of pancake syrup at the bottom so diabetes in a cup for those that love that. Inside has plenty of seating for at least 30 people. Their drive thru is pretty wide, we have a lifted Sierra GMC. Okay chicken nuggs are my favorite, but mild is still nippy so prepare yourself for some happy tears. I'm actually writing this review before I try the food based entirely on the service of one of the people there, Tiana, who was just incredibly friendly knowledgeable and made the entire experience of pleasure. It's that type of person who makes Vegas known as a city that really provides a great experience. I also say now that we've had a chance to enjoy the food, I really like the cookies. My son did not. Today we have visited another location of Houston's hot chicken located on W Sahara Ave & S Jones Blvd and it was absolutely phenomenal . We had chicken nuggets, chicken tenders , the loaded fries. The chicken tenders are definitely THE BEST IN TOWN. You get to select how spicy you want the chicken, we got it mild which was perfect, not to spicy but not bland either. Their chicken is all natural and high quality food, not like the other places. You can taste the difference in quality. Perfectly seasoned chicken and so juicy and delicious . The house sauce was delicious and complimented everything well, the fries were perfectly crispy, but the downer for me was the tenders.. I've been going to Houston's for some time now at several of their locations. I remember when there was only the one in Henderson and I had to make that long drive. I've also done a few YouTube videos , Tips From A Bellman is my channel , for them at 3 different locations. So yes I'm a fan. I get the Medium Chicken Sandwich and Spicy Chicken Tender with Fries and that wonderful Fry Sauce. I like the Regular Frozen Lemonade , better than the other flavors. I was here about a month ago and got mine to go. It was the first time for me to come to this location and it's close by. My son and daughter in law picked up from here for us before , but I wasn't with them. The decor is pretty much the same at each location with a few differences. The one downtown has a bar , Summerlin does shakes with alcohol which I want to go back to and try one and of course the Henderson one is the original. I've also been to the one on Ann Road. This time my chicken sandwich was a little shy on the coleslaw. I received a survey a day or so later and I mentioned it and the manager apologized and sent me an email back. I wasn't complaining , I just was used to getting a good amount on my sandwich and having that crunch to go with it. I highly recommend Houston's at any location. I've never had a problem and the food is always so good. I think it's way better than Dave's Hot Chicken on West Sahara. I went once and wasn't impressed with them. read more

The sauce was a little sweet for my taste. I'd eat there again. It would be few and far between. I got immediate heart burn, after my sandwhich. It was a little too heavy for me. We ordered the original chicken sandwich combo. The food is good. My friend likes it so much he also ordered their "Chicken and waffles" and he can't stop smiling like a kid got a new toy. It took $5 off my order. The fries were cooked well and were still crispy after our 25 minute drive home. The chicken sandwich with coleslaw is really nice, though messy. The cole slaw has a subtle flavor and compliments the seasoning well. The Texas Caesar salad is a waste of money, in my opinion. The caesar dressing is nothing special, and the whole thing just kind of tastes bland. I'm wondering if it was just this location, as we've enjoyed others a lot more.
