Breakfast menu was slim pickings but very delicious I got the LV scramble with coleslaw on the side which the cokes was different they had sliced pickles in it being I love pickles I enjoyed it. Eggs and fries was super good my husband got the Bae breakfast sandwich which took him 5 seconds to finish which means he loved it. Staffing very friendly enjoyed our breakfast and watch some sports great ambiance.

    Firebird sandwich. Very delicious.

This place is fantastic for chicken. The best chicken sandwich I've had. The prices are fair to be on the strip too. I got the firebird sandwich. Not as spicy as I wanted but I understand why. Service was quick and easy. Very nice host/cashier person that explained the whole menu to me because it was my first time. Very relaxing environment with a nice theme. Nice bar too. Hats off to Chef Blais. I understand why you won Next Level Chef over Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay's burger spot was very terrible. The student has become the master. Last note, my gf, who is black, said, "Blais is invited to all my cookouts," after eating the chicken tenders. That is a real compliment.

Order-at-the-kiosk setup, no table service. Loud, a little chaotic, but it works--grab your puck and pick up your food when it's ready. Got the Cali Drip and a White Claw. This thing is basically a Cali burrito turned into a panini--pollo asado, fries, bacon, chipotle-bacon mayo, pickled onions, jalapeños, and melted Oaxacan cheese all pressed into a torta roll. It's rich, messy, and seriously good. Couldn't finish it (GLP wins again), but no complaints--what I did eat was worth it.

The Firebird sandwich (someone definitely got cracked, I didn't even ask for extra sauce)

The food there is AMAZING!!! Does not disappoint. I've returned several times when I'm in Vegas, it's my go to lunch spot. The fries alone are probably the best I've ever had :) ANYWHERE. And the biscuits OMG, melt in my mouth. Definitely recommend this place

The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Most of the fries were good, but some were over fried where there was no potato left. It was like biting into crispy oil. The cashier was friendly and it took a while for the food to be ready. It's open late with a casual lively atmosphere. It's easy access from the street outside of Park MGM.

Came back twice in a week, once for breakfast and once for dinner. A quick and less busy spot for breakfast and coffee. Their chicken is definitely delicious, even the breast was tender. Refreshing salad and very flavorful crispy fried chicken sandwich.

3.5/5 Casual and quick spot. Stopped in on our trip to Vegas for a quick dinner. Ordering process was a bit confusing - bar versus counter vs machine and happy hour stuff had to be order at counter... anyways ordered food and although it wasn't too busy it took longer than expected to come out. I'm not complaining though! Food was good and very filling. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Like most Vegas establishments, expect to pay a pretty penny. Vibes were good. This is a good place to watch sports. Patio is chill.

My sister wanted to try this place out since she knows my love for fried chicken. The staff was great, however, the fried chicken was super crispy, batter is super thick and salty. The thickest I have ever ate, the inside was super hot and juicy. I never reject fried chicken, even if it's from the supermarket or gas station but this was not good at all. The fire sauce was just basic. The fries and biscuit is just okay. There were plenty of space to sit, inside and outside.

This was my second time coming to Crack Shack, and its still fire! They've added a lot more items to the menu since my last visit, which is cool but the spicy chicken is definitely the go-to! It's fried in their Fire Sauce and comes out super crispy with just the right amount of heat and flavor. The pickles are also a plus to the meal. The coleslaw salad was also surprisingly good. It's not too heavy or overly creamy like some places -- it's light, balanced, and pairs really well with the chicken. Shoutout to Ken for the great service. He was really helpful, attentive, and made sure everything came out right. The quality of service definitely stood out and made the experience even better.

Great experience all around! They have lots of outside seating and inside seating of course. They have a bar inside and they are very courteous. The service was excellent-friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Chicken is battered thick and flavorful. The inside is moist and crunchy on the outside. You can select from any of the self-serve sauces which is nice. My wife tried their salads and they were delicious, very filling. For the price, they deliver, we were not able to finish our meals, we were more than pleasantly surprised. Also! They have a great soda brand with some good flavors. Love it! This was a pretty solid experience and the food was pretty good. Perfect spot for good eats, good vibes, and catching a big game. We definitely recommend it!

Breakfast for 2 came to around $33 total. We had a breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. They were tasty and were delicious. The wait time was 10-15 min. This would be a great place to watch football as they have two big screens which was awesome on Sunday morning. A few problems with this place. They charged $4 for coffee when the sign said $3. Personally, I believe you need to honor the advertised price on your signage until you get new ones with the new price. The cashier told us, but still felt like it should be $3. We didn't argue and paid the extra $1.

Mini Biscuits (6pc), Chicken Oysters, Hand Cut Fries, slaw and Half Bird
    Ebony L.

We tried the chicken oysters, the half bird, mini biscuits, and hand-cut fries and everything was really good. The chicken oysters were perfectly battered and full of flavor, and the half bird was just as tasty it was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The standout for me was the mini biscuits with honey butter. The biscuits were soft, buttery, and downright addictive. The hand-cut fries were fresh and crispy, the perfect side to round out the meal. The restaurant itself was clean with a fun, laid back vibe, and the staff was cool, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food with bold flavors done right. I'd absolutely come back.

My first stop when I got to Vegas was The Crack Shack. It was a smart layout with a nice open air view of the strip. The bartender was friendly & attentive. The menu looked great & I think the only mistake I made was ordering the wrong thing of the menu. I wanted a chicken sandwich & saw All American Chicken Burger. It was a chicken burger & not a chicken sandwich which was my mistake. I ate it anyway, it was like a Big Mac version of a chicken burger, not bad, not great but it repeated on me for sometime. I think if I read the menu better & ordered a proper chicken sandwich I'd be a happy customer. I can't give a place 4 stars based on what I ate but I'll give it another try next year!

Is there parking or do I need to uber to get there? I am coming from out of town on a road trip. Thank you.

Depends upon where you're staying. There's no parking on the Strip, but you can park at Park MGM or Aria for $$$, unless you're Pearl (self parking) or Gold (valet). If you're not staying or playing at either place, I'd Uber.

    Is all you chicken fried?

They also have grilled chicken sandwiches and pulled chicken on the salads.

Is smoking allowed inside your restaurant, and if not, does the smell of cigarette smoke make it into your restaurant as it's a part of a larger casino hotel?

No smoking allowed and it is not connected to the casino, it's a separate building. But if it was, Park MGM is actually a non-smoking casino/hotel, so no issues there :)

Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like fried chicken that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free french fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.?

Hi Rachel! Unfortunately due to the size of our kitchen, our fries do share a fryer with the bone-in fried chicken. That said, we do have plenty of non-fried options for our GF peeps. If you'd like recommendations for the most popular items (and… Read more

Are your fried chicken gluten free by any chance?

Do you guys have chicken oysters available I see it's sold out online for a while now?

We do have chicken oysters available! Rest assured they are back and ready to be devoured ;) Can't wait to see you!

Are you open for diner tonight 8/28/21? If do, can we make reservations?

Hello! We don’t take reservations as we are a counter service style restaurant, so seating is wherever you’d like, first come first served. That said, we can always help you find a spot and the wait is never too long!

What kind of oil do you use to fry/deep fry?

We use canola, as it is free of most allergens :)

    Is the bar open yet?

Hey Rachael, thanks for reaching out! Our bar is currently open on weekends, for now, as we work to hire back enough staff to sling quality craft drinks 7 days a week :) I hope you'll join us!

Hi when is your happy hour? Thank you!

Hi Maria--Happy Hour was actually a covid casualty for us. As things are starting to open back up and as we continue to re-hire positions behind the bar, Happy Hour is definitely on our minds. We will re-implement it soon, and will share on our… Read more

Can you use Food & Beverage Credit the MGM Resorts provide by charging to your room?

( this new tipping in fast food is ridiculous) Eye roll included. Not a great start. Yes, the chicken came out hot that's the one thing it got right. But the breading is nowhere close to real Southern fried chicken. It's heavy, OVERLY greasy, and misses the mark completely. The ranch tasted bottled, the sweet tea wasn't fresh (straight dispenser vibes), and the peach cobbler had zero flavor only saved by the vanilla ice cream. It smells amazing walking up, but don't fall for it. $31 for a greasy, underwhelming meal with attitude on the side? Hard pass. Wouldn't come back or recommend. * it just leaves me thinking, of all the amazing Mom and pop spots in the small southern towns that I call home. I know a handful of restaurants that could absolutely flourish if given the chance in a location such as the cosmopolitan.

Our waitress was super friendly and upbeat but she immediately let us know that there was only one order of fried chicken left if we wanted to order it. We were not ordering fried chicken so it wasn't an issue but I thought it was odd that this is an item they would run out of on a Sunday. I ordered the chicken fried steak which came with mashed potatoes and greens. My husband ordered the catfish dinner which came with hush puppies, grits and greens. The food arrived pretty quick and was hot. My chicken fried steak was just ok. The mashed potatoes were good and the greens were the worst I've had. It was like a pound of sugar in them. Caught me off guard. It was so sweet that it was inedible. My husband's fried catfish was prepared perfectly! (We asked for it to be fried hard) It was hot, fresh and well seasoned! The hush puppies were a bit dry and taste like they roll it in the same fish fry as the catfish as it had a slight fishy taste but the grits were amazing! It had a white gravy/sauce on top of it and it was just soo good! I had wished I ordered his plate even tho we swapped a few forkfuls. One thing I noticed was the menu had changed. Based on other yelp posts, there were items that I had in mind I wanted to try when I got there like the egg rolls. The menu is vastly downsized from when they first opened which was a bummer. Usually when a restaurant downsizes their menu by that much, it's usually a sign it won't be open much longer. So go while you can if it's a place you've been wanting to try. We paid almost $80 for 2 dinners (not including tip). We did not get drinks since we had been drinking earlier. The price wasn't too bad for a sit down restaurant inside a Vegas casino.

Out of the four drinks, only ONE was good. I don't remember all the names, but the golden one with Jack Honey was cool. The other three? Easy passes. For $42, that ain't it. 3/10 Appetizers: Now let's talk food. The biscuits are CRAZY. Soft, buttery, fresh, and that pepper jam takes it to another level. They even put the jam in the hush puppies which is a power move. 10/10 The crab cakes were fire too. All flavor, real crab meat, no filler nonsense. Definitely something I'd order again. 9/10 Main Plate: I ordered the fried fish with Brussels sprouts and mac & cheese. The fish was top tier. Fried perfect, seasoned right, crispy but not greasy. 8/10 The Brussels were mixed with sweet potatoes, good balance, good flavor, just nothing that made me lose my mind. 7/10 The mac & cheese wasn't for me. Thick cheese sauce but no real flavor behind it. Just kinda there. 4/10 Overall: All in all, it was a good experience. Great service, good food, and a solid atmosphere. I was honestly so impressed I had to leave a tip. Big shoutout to the team working that night -- you guys crushed it

All of the food that we ordered was the same great taste that we've grown to expect from all the Shake Shack's that we've had the pleasure of visiting. This particular location located on the strip charges more for every single item on the menu. I was told the reason being is for the simple fact that it's located on the Las Vegas strip. I personally don't agree with that reason/justification. Just because you can inflate your prices doesn't necessarily mean that you should. I'm of course speaking from an ethical standpoint, not a business one. What would have cost us $50 at one of the other Shake Shack's located throughout this city ended up costing $80 here. Overall, it was a really great experience. It's just next time we're in the mood for some Shake Shack we'll simply just visit a different location.

3 star review for Dave's Hot Chicken near the Horseshoe Hotel in Las Vegas. The biggest plus for…read morethis location is definitely the convenience. It's right near the Strip and close to the Horseshoe Hotel, making it an easy spot to grab a quick bite while walking around Vegas. The restaurant itself was busy but the staff kept the line moving, and the food came out fairly quick considering the crowd. I ordered the #4 combo with 1 slider and fries. The slider had a crispy coating with a decent amount of heat and the chicken was juicy enough, though the flavor didn't really wow me. The fries were solid and paired well with the sauce, but overall the meal felt more average than memorable, especially for the price. Portion size was decent for a quick fast-casual meal. One thing that really stood out in a negative way was the drink situation. They do not provide free cups of water, so if you want water you have to purchase bottled water separately. In the Vegas heat, that felt pretty cheap and disappointing, especially after ordering a full combo meal with spicy chicken. Overall, it's a convenient late-night option with decent food, but there are definitely better hot chicken spots out there if you're looking for something more flavorful or customer friendly.

The good news: the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, not dry. But let me say this it was plain chicken NO FLAVOR! The employee who took my order was friendly customer service was good. Now for the not-so-good news. Again the chicken lol! It wasn't bad it just wasn't seasoned enough to get me excited. The Memphis BBQ sauce did some heavy lifting, but I was hoping for more flavor from the chicken itself. As for the Big Cali it was meh also, I asked for the bacon on the side. Let's just say the bacon and I were not a match made in heaven. It reminded me of fast-food bacon I've passed on before, and it quickly found its way to the trash. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but it wasn't memorable for the food either. The staff was great, the outdoor seating and the bar setup perf, but the flavors never really showed up to the party. Unfortunately, I don't see myself making a return trip.
