Four and a half stars for delicious Neapolitan style pizza, and a small but great list of local beers on tap. Place your order and then find a seat where you can admire the art on the walls and the well-oiled machine of this family-run business behind the counter. It was fun to watch the dough get hand-tossed with ease before going into the wood fire oven. We tried the mushroom pizza they had on special, and their signature maple bacon pizza. While we thoroughly enjoyed both, we couldn't deny the addictive combination of maple and garlic on the latter. I don't think they had enough condiment shakers to go around, so we only borrowed the parmesan, black pepper, and red pepper flakes for as long as we needed to. Definitely a must-try if you happen to be visiting the peace and quiet of Barnet right across the state line; there's also a convenience store is attached if you're looking for a handy pit stop on your road trip through New England. read more

Who doesn't love pizza? Located only seconds across the bridge from Vermont next to the Monroe Country Store, Farm To Fire Pizza Pub offers a variety of 12" neopolitan hand made wood fired pizzas using local and fresh ingredients, plus salads and spinach artichoke dip. The pizzas are priced $11 to $16 before tax. They offer takeout or eat-in with a full service bar serving a few beers on tap. The pizza kitchen, bar and seating area with high top tables, bar stools, and a long communal table are in the same room. There is framed artwork/photos on sale mounted on the wood walls I stopped by here to pick up a pizza to bring home. The place was moderately busy with most customers coming in for takeout and a few staying here for draft beer and pizza. The operating hours at the time of this review were limited to Thu-Sat 4PM-8PM. I was initially on the fence with ordering the Sausage Special or the Maple Bacon. I went with the second choice and ordered the Maple Bacon - Farm to Fire Signature Pie ($16 plus tax), which I watched being made and placed into the wood fire pizza oven with other pizzas on a big round wheel which rotates in the oven. My pizza was ready in about 10 minutes. The pizza I ordered had a thin crisp crust with a soft texture inside, topped with garlic oil, green apple slices, fresh spinach, cheddar, mozzarella, bacon, and maple syrup. The amount of toppings on the pizza was on the light side, but it still taste pretty good. NOTE: There was a sign on the door that wearing a mask inside was recommended but not required. Most people inside were not wearing masks, but a few customers picking up food were. As of mid August 2020, the reported number of positive Covid cases of Monroe residents has been zero cases since the beginning of the pandemic back in March 2020. read more

This is a MUST eat pizza place! If you prefer a plain cheese, go for it. It's amazing. But if you like some action on your taste buds; try any of the toppings pizzas. I personally can say the CBR and Mediterranean are perfectly covered with the extras that give them their pizza personality. There is something for everyone. Each pizza perfectly portioned and using only fresh local ingredients. You will even find a specialty pizza. Usually featuring a local farm product. Absolutely love the love they have for what they do. And the support they have for community. **On your way out, don't forget to get your hands on the new merchandise. Super cool design. Good pizza, will return. All fresh ingredients. Not heavy and greasy pies like some other pizza places. Not sure if it's truly wood fired because the flame inside the oven appeared to be gas but either way, it tastes great! read more

Super cute, rustic, current, family run spot a mile off Rt 91, Exit 19. Pizza was very good!...thin bottom with bubbly soft crust. Delicious creative pie toppings and half dozen beers on tap. We bellied up to the bar with our three kids and had nice conversation with the owners. Salad and cheesecake were equally enjoyed. Thanks for a great stop on our way north for skiing. read more

Hidden gem, cute rustic space, delicious wood fired pizza - nicely done - not burnt like you sometimes see with wood fire-. Nice combinations with use of local ingredients. Salads are fresh and delicious and they have a nice house dressing. Good selection that varies of craft Beer on tap- but they also stock Coors and Bud for those of us who prefer that. read more

This little restaurant makes excellent pizza and the staff is very friendly and courteous. However, I only gave them 1 star because the day I stopped in to order (Oct. 10) not one of 4 people in the kitchen area handling food was wearing a mask. One of the owners took our order and she pulled a gaiter over her face but when she went back to cooking, she took it off. The man who made our pizza had no mask. 2 teenagers helping in the kitchen and behind the bar wore no masks. The pizza was absolutely fantastic-- I can say enough good things about that, but I won't go back there while COVID still rules our lives. read more

I would give them 5 stars but the staff is pretty lax about wearing masks during the pandemic. However, the pizza is tasty even if it could potentially contain COVID-19. The staff is friendly. The timing could be better in regards to the time you are told it will be ready for pickup vs. the time it's actually ready. When you call to place a to-go order you are asked what time you would like to pick it up. We usually aim for a reasonable 30-45mins but are often counter offered with a different pickup time that will either be earlier or later than what you requested based on their work load. Not a big deal but why not just tell me when it will be ready? Did I mention the pizza is really tasty? This place is one of those hidden gems you hear about and probably the only place that makes actual pizza that is not made from a premade crust that one would get at one of the local Village Pizzas. Staff, just wear a mask. Science has proven it does not inhibit breathing, it doesn't make you a 'snow flake' and you are actually wearing it to protect others and not yourself. Having said that, it's selfish not to wear a mask out of respect for those who are immuno-compromised in your community or even your 90yr grandmother that is more susceptible to viruses. read more
