Been coming here for as long as I can remember. The best pizza EVER. Super crispy crust and perfect ratio of cheese to incredible sauce. I no longer live in the area however it is a must whenever I visit. I eat everything on the menu and all of it is to die for. Had the broccoli cheese bites on this trip and was not disappointed. Food was nasty, ordered a BLT Wrap and it was flat like a sandwich and all the bacon at one end and tomato's in the middle and lettuce at the other end it was grilled crispy. It was nasty with mayo running out of it... ended up throwing more than half what Yelp menu had a wrap priced at 5 but got charged $10 and got a side of onion rings was almost $10 they were tasteless and tasted frozen. This is a great small town pizza place! I was a little worried when the restaurant got new owners but ever sense the place has been under new staff the service has gotten a lot better. The ambiance is what you expect from a a small town pizza restaurant. The atmosphere is nothing special nor awful. I was on the verge of a 3 for this review because the food has not improved in my opinion but the service has gotten a lot better and the restaurant is cleaner. The food at Village Pizza is good. However, for our second time driving from Boston to treat our Vermont family to a meal, the food was not ready when we were told it would be, and once we winded our way in the dark to our host's farm, we discovered that one of our meals (the birthday girl's) was missing. Crispy crust (ends) and the bottom crust was a bit softer. Overall good flavor. Not the best pizza but certainly beats mainstream fast food like pizza. Was not dry had generous amount of sauce which I prefer. I would definitely go back again if I were back in the area read more

We parked our RV (fifth wheel and truck) in their parking lot, no problem. We had chicken parm sandwich and a cheese calzone. All was delicious. I complemented the owner on the counter staff and the food. I recommended she get WiFi, but she is not sure that it is needed. read more

Let's be clear-- this is exactly what it advertises to be: a sandwich/pizza place at a reasonable price. I am giving it 4/5 stars because it lives up to exactly what it says it is and the food is on the mark for that. We eat there for lunch every time we visit the area and are satisfied w the burgers, gyro and fries, salads, and pizza. The counter staff are friendly and quick to take your order. I've been here a few times, and always leave a bit disappointed. The sandwiches are decent, the pizza is maybe a bit below average. My biggest issue is the cost; for a pizza joint, there is no value coming here. There are other places to get better food, for less money. I've seen a few reviews regarding poor customer service. While I have not experienced this, they are certainly not above average. Sadly, this place is easily forgotten. read more

We stopped in for a few grinders for lunch. The steak & cheese was great. The service was prompt and everything was hot. The small grinder is a perfect size for lunch. The French fries were very good, but the serving size seemed small compared to the price. We will be back to try something else on the menu next time. read more

Great memories with friends and family at this place. Food is good, affordable, convenient. Restaurant accommodates families or soccer teams at any given moment. Super lively, center of town sort of atmosphere, lots of smiles and laughs. The owners and workers are very interactive with the community so it's like having pizza with the greater town and friends are always just popping in when you happen to be there. Tolerable, they have trouble getting orders right if you ask for any small changes. And they recently increased their prices a bit to much for what it is. But I will say the quality is usually OK. I don't think I have had the pizza so I can't judge that. read more

Not sure how this place is still open with all the bad reviews. My experience wasn't much better. Steak n cheese sub was tasteless, asked for pepperoni on it and they just threw cold slices of pepperoni on the sub, didn't bother cooking it with the meat. Cost $10 just for an eight inch sub. They have three wi fi signals but non for the customers. Said the wifi is for the register... all of it?? Theres no cell service up here and most places have wifi. No customer service or appreciation. Gonna open up a New York style pizza joint and put em out. read more

I grew up with this place and I have always loved it. Their pizza is delicious the crust is not too thin nor to thick it's perfect. I am in love with their steak and cheese I always order it no matter what I would love to try something else but I always order the steak and cheese with all the fixins along with some feta cheese also. It does depend on who cooks the food too. The chicken fingers and French Fries are also never a disappointment. I think everything is a little over priced though. read more

I asked the counter gal what was fresh and not frozen or from a Can. She said the eggs and tomatoes. The crust had been frozen at least once, I asked. I am giving Village Pizza a 5-star review because of their outstanding customer service. My spouse and I are from Rhode Island and drove to Woodsville to see about purchasing a used car (we ended up getting it). We got done much later than anticipated and a storm started rolling in just as all the shops, including the car place, closed. We still needed to call and get insurance coverage on the car so we could drive it home safely. However, the wifi in Woodsville is so terrible, we had zero phone service the entire time we were there. We went to Village Pizza because it was the only place other than McDonald's close by that was still open. We got two small pizzas which were both pretty tasty, but not the best we'd ever had (that gets a 3.5-star review) but what happened next made up for anything the pies may have been lacking. We spent an hour trying to get through to our insurance company. When we finally did, the call dropped before we could finalize anything and service never came back. By then, all the employees had gone and the Village was closing and we were panicking. The owner, noticing we had been there for pushing two hours, came to see if we were okay. When she found out what was going on, she stayed past closing with us for 40 minutes until we got everything sorted out. Moreover, she helped us sort it out by letting us use the internet on her iPad as well as her business telephone landline to make our calls. She was pleasant the entire time. We will never have a reason to go back to Woodsville, but I strongly suggest that everyone eat here because the food is good and the owner really deserves the business because she truly cares about her customers. Overpriced lousy food. Disappointed every time with price vs quality. Ordered a hot Italian sub once and it was cold. Asked them for a heated sub and they threw it in the oven lettuce and all. Tried to give it to me with wilted lettuce. Told them to keep it. Never any specials or deals on pizza. A frozen food emporium. read more
