Felt taken care of and not smothered! Our group ordered some burgers and we thought, why not throw on the extra patty for another dollar, but boy oh boy was it a tall burger! Quite a large burger, but each bite was reported to be delightful! I, myself, had he Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and salad was also great! Doesn't seem like there's a bad item on the menu! If you're near by, I'd certainly consider stopping in! Thank you Rush on Main!!

Here are my observations:…read more Service: -waitress on our visit was personable and attentive -carryout order was ready when I arrived and checkout was smooth -on both occasions, all items were received as ordered Ambiance: -you have to navigate some steep steps after you enter the door to reach the place, so could be a challenge for some -interior is dark, which when the sun peers through the windows it can be a challenging contrast on the eye -walls are filled with various decoration. appreciate the Chicago-vibe, but it's a little busy visually Food: (Visit #1) -not a lot of options for non-meat eaters (which my wife is) -we split the Spicy Cheese Curds ($11), which I believe were simply fried pepper jack cheese cubes (a generous portion) that came with a side of ranch. It had a kick, so it was what it said it would be. -we also split a Cheese Pizza ($17) on their regular crust. the cheese was generously applied, sauce was OK, the crust was subpar and not something we would order again (Visit #2) -Bavarian Pretzel Sticks ($12) come as an order of 4 lightly salted sticks with sides of nacho cheese and honey mustard. The sticks are among the better pretzel offerings I have had. Not the best (that would be 101 craft kitchen and Red Front), but definitely better than average. -Da Beef ($14) was a nice portion of beef. Because I was doing carryout, I got the sauce on the side. -the sandwich came with a side of their in house chips, which I really liked. they aren't seasoned if that's your thing, but I simply appreciate a fresh made potato chip and they were that Overall, if you like meat, it's probably on their menu and I'm guessing will scratch your itch. If you're not a meat-eater, it probably won't appeal. If stairs aren't your thing, it could be a dealbreaker unless there's another route I don't know of.

Vegan friendly which is great for a burger place. You can come here and pig out while bringing someone who doesn't enjoy the slaughter - a big plus for extended family outings. A couple of other pros are there is a whole freaking parking lot which is unusual but awesome. The full bar has plenty of options including great craft beer. Last but not least the cheese curds are the best in Indy that I'm aware of. I've had a couple of their burgers so far and I don't think you can go wrong with them. The Motörhead is basically a Greek style burger which I found to be exceptional. Burgers are cooked to how you like it so execution is also phenomenal. The Neurosis is your Swiss and mushroom style burger, also great. While it's tempting to go off of the name when ordering I would try to make sure the palette matches your tastes - there's way too many options. Big portions so plan to carry around a to go box after.

Mac and Cheese: you can choose your own add on! I had bacon and caramelized onions added to mine. Poppers: very unique, had a chili cheese filling instead of cream cheese. Tons of beer options, but I didn't drink on this occasion.

My wife had a side salad with hers. I enjoyed and order of their Shotgun Shrimp. The sandwich is very large, I cut mine half and got a full sandwich out of each half. The breading was good, not quite as crispy as some that we've had but it was good. The tenderloin itself had good flavor but had quite a bit of gristle. Serving temp was excellent, not mouth blistering, but not cool or cold like some have been I enjoyed the shotgun shrimp. Very tasty and satisfying. It could have used a little more kick, but my wife thought it was quite spicy so perhaps it was good. I just like it to tickle my mouth a little more. My wife loved her salad, crisp lettuce and the dressing was good Overall, a nice evening. The two things that would have moved my rating up to 5 would have been no gristle in the meat (we've been to 3 other places on this Trail and this was the only one that had gristle) and the background music made it difficult to talk. We left quickly because we couldn't visit comfortably Otherwise, we enjoyed the food, the ambiance was nice and the service excellent

The cutlet was a good size, the appearance was what you'd want, the cutlet far over the bun. Unfortunately it was dry and not particularly flavorful. The accompanying slaw (my preference instead of fries) was fine, as least it provided a counterpoint to the fried pork. But honestly, next time I'm in the area, I'd pass on Bubba's and probably won't be hankering for a pork sandwich again.

They do not have dine-in or walk-up service. They only offer car service, which you can place your order ahead via the web or phone. They drive-in has an ample number of spots and you just turn on your headlights to get service. They specialize in various types of burgers and they have sandwiches (pulled pork, chicken, egg salad, grilled cheese, and hot dogs). They also have some fancy/unique shake and drink combinations to create and choose from and chicken, fish and shrimp dinners. Be sure to save room for their dessert items, including sundaes and brownies. They have a menu on the wall, that you can see when you are parked. They also bring paper menus out to you as well. My server, Daniel, was awesome. He was very, very friendly, upbeat, helpful, and courteous. I ended up ordering the Galley Boy, which they titled "America's Best Cheeseburger. I got a side of potato teezers to go along with them. It took about 12 minutes for me to get my food. It was fresh and hot. The best way to describe potato teezers are fried potatoes with cheese and jalapeno bits in the center. They were OK, but I would have probably preferred fries. The burger was real good, but was very small. It was not very filling and could have probably eaten two more without any issues. I recommend checking this place out, if you are in the area. Their shrimp is really good. The potato teasers are a good option for something a little different. Crunchy on the outside loaded with cheese and shredded potato on the inside. This is deep fried so yummy. Today, I got the Coney dog and onion rings with a root beer. Let's start with the onion rings. Their onion rings are lightly battered, thin slices of onion, with a very pleasant onion taste. They were a little on the greasy side and overcooked. Next up the coney the hotdog itself was good. The texture of the Coney sauce was good, but I was expecting it to have a little more flavor. Lastly, the root beer. It tasted like A&W root beer. The flavor was good. But, be aware of their sizing. A small there is like a kiddie size. The young man who took my order, was super friendly and helpful.

They disappeared fast, came served on paper, and were crispy, hot, and delicious. We ordered the 2 10-piece wings (the biggest order available), including one batch cooked extra crispy. The wings were good, and I especially enjoyed the Fat Dan's hot BBQ sauce over the regular BBQ. I really liked the extra crispy wings. My boys also wanted burgers. One ordered the Wake N Bake Burger and the other got the Fat Dan's Burger. Both looked tasty, and neither of them complained. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between sports bar and family friendly restaurant. There is seating both inside and outside, and when the weather is nice, they open the large doors to create an open-air feel. That's where we sat, and I enjoyed it.
