Took my husband to try this place out since he hasn't tried Farmer Boys yet. We went to the drive thru. We were able to order right away as there was no line. It wasn't on the menu, but I asked if they had fish and chips since it wasn't on the menu. Luckily they had it. So I order that, and my husband ordered the big cheeseburger box and we ordered a side of (4pcs) onion rings. The only down side to the drive thru is that they take so long. There was already a line ahead of us, but we probably waited about 10 minutes before getting to the window to pay and get our food. When we got home to enjoy our food, they provided a good amount of tartar sauce for the fish, ranch (although I do wish they gave more & from what I remember the container size was a little bigger), hot sauce, ketchup, and small yellow chilis. The fish and chips was still crispy. The cheeseburger box had a good amount of food for $10. My husband enjoyed it. The burger was good. The onion rings weren't as crispy as I hope they would be because they place it in a bag, which I think makes it soggy. When we got to the onion rings to eat, the breading/ batter was coming off. Employee name MAYA I've been coming to this Farmer Boys location for a long time and usually stop by at least twice a week, so it's disappointing to have to leave this review. On Wednesday, I ordered a burger and had a very unpleasant experience with one of the employees, [23- Maya]. She seemed impatient and dismissive while taking my order, and I felt like she was mocking me instead of trying to understand what I was saying. I specifically asked for no onions and no tomatoes, but my burger still came with both. When I got to the drive-thru window to pay, her attitude was just as unprofessional. She barely reached out for my credit card, making me lean out of my car to hand it to her. Customer service should make customers feel welcome, not uncomfortable. I understand that everyone has bad days, but being consistently rude to customers is not acceptable. As someone who visits this location regularly, this experience has made me think twice about coming back. Arrived at 8:30 pm to have dinner with my family (3 adults). We waited about 5 minutes for the person taking orders. When he came, he told us he could take our order but that we couldn't eat in their dining room because "he was short-staffed." A couple of other people were eating in the dining area. The dining area closes at 10:00 pm. It didn't make sense that, although it was 8:30 pm and the restaurant closed at 10, we were not allowed to sit and eat inside. Most times l visit this Farmer Boys on Foothill Blvd, - the service & food is okay. This afternoon, l dined-in, & placed my order with a familiar-looking cashier (a taller, heavier-set young lady - "Jenny" was the name on the cash receipt) took my order. I ordered a dine-in breakfast, and a "To Go" burger & fries order. This cashier screwed my order to high heaven. When my order was ready, she delivered the burger & fires as my dine-in meal,- l informed her, No - this order is my To Go, order, - my breakfast order is for dine-in. . After about (10) minutes, l went to the counter to learn what the delay was. This lady, now packed both my breakfast & burger orders TO GO ! I said, No - she really screwed-up, & l'm getting frustrated as my lunch-break is now running short. After getting that straightened-out, l pickup my burger To Go order, took it back to the office for my receptionist, to NOW learn that that cashier now screwed-up the burger order. 01/22/26 Came into this FarmerBoys on Foothill & Cherry. Ordered the $12.19 Hog Heaven 3 egg Burrito. I added Guacamole and Hashbrowns on the side. Fresh food fast . A bit more expensive than other fast food but such hearty portions. The wife and I often "share " a salad or burger . The staff is always very eager to help and friendly. Picked up lunch for the office. Ordered to-go at the counter and it took about 20 minutes to get the order ready. I was assured everything was in the bag numerous times. My fault for not checking as I should no better. Got back to work with a chicken sandwich, fries, and a chicken salad missing CHICKEN (it was just lettuce in the container).
