My wife and I came to this place a lot when it was Rodeo Cafe. This was our first time eating here as Jurupa's Cafe. The menu items are very similar to Rodeo, a mixture of traditional American and Mexican. I ordered the Veggie Omelette my wife couldn't resist and ordered the menudo. Heads up on the menudo it is a giant bowl. I of course tried some and it was good. Menudo is one of those foods that is good or bad. No in between. This was good. Having just gone through a "cardiac episode" my doctor says I need to eat healthier so I got the veggie omelet. Some Tabasco sauce and it was good to go. Big portions with some country potatoes, toast and a hot cup of decaf. Ugh! Yes decaf. Damn heart. Anyway the omelette was delicious. One thing that stood out to us was the service. The waitress was very attentive and nice. Even though it looked like she was alone she handled that room like a pro. We will definitely come back although next time I'm getting the steak and eggs. I'm back!! I had to come back to this little comfort spot, and just like last time--everything was on point. The whole staff is always friendly, but this time Jerry was our waiter and he did an amazing job taking care of us. Even while it was busy, he stayed attentive and made sure we were good the whole time. I ordered the country scramble, and wow... that gravy. I honestly can't even explain it--it's just THAT good. I also tried the churro waffle, and I seriously hope they keep it on the menu. I heard it's limited time, but Jerry said it's so popular it might stick around--and it definitely should. It's a crispy, buttery waffle coated in cinnamon sugar with a sweet lechera drizzle... absolutely amazing. My friend got the steak eggs benedict and said it was the best he's had. The steak was cooked perfectly, the eggs were poached just right, and the hollandaise sauce was super flavorful. Everything was just superb. Every time I come here, it's busy--but they still manage to stay on top of their tables and really take care of their customers. You can tell they're putting in the effort, and it shows. Reasonable prices for brunch plus actually being really good?! Sign me up! Honestly one of the best mom and pop restaurants around the area! They were opened on Christmas Day which we were surprised with but they are one of my favorites to visit for brunch! The chilaquiles were 100% crunchy by the time it was served to me and usually a lot of places serve them soggy so I was impressed! Add the rib eye steak on top! You won't regret it. If you're looking for a good home cooked, savory meal, this is your place! This used to be Rodeo Cafe, and we loved them, but boy o boy, I think we found our NEW FAVORITE place!! Service was good, seating was right away, waitress was sweet and attentive. I believe the owners were there (husband and wife) they were super sweet! Restaurant is cute with plenty of inside and outdoor seating and plenty of parking, good ambiance! I ordered their country fried steak, scrambled egg and hash brown. OMG, when I tell you this is the best Country fried steak meal I've had, I kid you not! Country fried steak was so delicious, soft and filling of flavor. My eggs were nice fluffy and tasty. And my hash brown was so good! My husband ordered their chicken sandwich and fries with a side of ranch. His chicken as nice, tender, juicy and so flavorful. And they're fries? Great customer service, all staff is very attentive and they super fast on serving your food. They do get very busy at times, but they do their best on getting you in quick. The food is great! I have not had a dish that i did not like, all have been great selections. I've eaten here about 3 times now and have never been disappointed. Once with friends and twice with my husband. Food has been delish every time with very friendly and welcoming service! This will definitely be a go-to place for us. Also, their homemade secret family recipe hot sauce..... SOOOO GOOD! And it ACTUALLY has spice to it! Spicy food lovers, make sure you try it! As you can see from the before and after photos, we nearly ate the whole bottle between my husband and I . The owner is also very friendly and when he wasn't in the back cooking, he was out checking on everybody. Very friendly and community oriented atmosphere all around. I've tried this new restaurant a couple of times since they first opened, and I have to say, their breakfast is really good! The flavors are on point, and you can tell it's a family-owned business that puts care into their food. They've only been open for 18 days, so they're still working out a few kinks, but that's expected with any new restaurant. Despite that, the quality and taste have been consistent, and the service is welcoming. If you're looking for a great local spot with delicious breakfast, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try! Thought I would try this place out today. It's close to my house but never stopped in. We had the skillet and chilaquiles. Both were amazing! The skillet has the best potatoes in them. And the flour tortillas are the bomb. We ordered the chilaquiles with asada and I wish I took a picture because they looked and tasted really good! No wonder this place always has a line. This is a fairly new family owned business; I got to meet both owners and they are a delightful young couple ! They run the business along with family and we really enjoy going there. The young ladies working there, always greet you with a smile and know you by name. That's always nice and welcoming! If you become a regular they already know what you'll order. My favorite plate to order is the red chilaquiles ; love the flavor, cream and queso fresco on top; they already know I love some onions on top and they serve them just the way I like. Their menudo is delicious as well and they serve generous portions; their service is excellent and we have become happy customers ! They have Taco night on Tuesday and although I haven't been there yet, I'm sure what they serve is deliciously traditional carne asada, chorizo, chicken , al pastor tacos that I can't wait to try ! Came out to try this new spot. Not a big place kind of tight but its not bad. The lady did mention there were short staff. Ordered drinks coffee, soda and a coffee. Never got offered a refill. Wife ordered the Chorizo plate was a bit salty and it had a small plastic in it looked like the chorizo plastic it comes in. I ordered the Jurupa Valley platter pancakes were burned on the bottom the ham, eggs and potatoes were pretty good tho. The workers were pretty cool just looked like they were playing catch up and trying to get everyone in. My son ordered a waffle which he said was pretty good. Overall cool little spot might give it another try another time. We as a family are still pretty new to the area moved to Jurupa in May of last year so we're still looking for that go to spot we can take out of town family when they come down. read more

Jurupas cafe is amazing. I decided to get an Omelette, which I don't usually do, but I'm glad I did. The eggs were perfectly cooked. And the seasoning was on point. We also got the special of the day. The Maple Bacon pancakes, man oh man. These are the best pancakes I have had in a really long time. The pancakes are fluffy soft and deliciously amazing. Soooooo first off, we met the owners Guillermo and LisETTE( Guillermo told us a funny story) I gotta say 2 of the nicest people you could meet. They just opened up not too long ago, so still getting the hang of things. The place was full and they kept checking in letting us know they didn't forget about us . My husbandand I have been looking for the best chilaquiles. Been to about 5 places since we started our hunt. Their have been some good ones but nothing that reminded you of your Mom's or Dads cooking, there was always something missing. Well I think we've found them! The salsa for the green chilas is not easy to get that perfect flavor. My sauce is always too tart when I make it. I really enjoyed the flavor of the green sauce, they gave us half red and half green and the red was so good as well. THE BEANS!!! Perfect, I usually won't eat the beans, but I had to stop myself today. I had the Huevos rancheros . Oh my goodness and let's not forget their home potatoes, by far the best I've had. Try this special little place. we just found by accident after going to....Lil shout out to another new place we found Pot Head coffee. My goodness I hope my mom don't read this review but these are the best green chilaquiles I have ever tasted crispy, spicy and delicious. I'm excited to try the complete menu coming up at their grand opening April 1st. family owned and operated by a local family is definitely worth my support .
