This is my second time going here. Food is decent priced. First time I got the French toast platter and the French toast was tasty and crispy on the edges, second time got a wrap and 2 hamburgers. The only thing to be aware of is that if you go through drive through it will be at least a 5 minute wait. So if you are expecting a 1 to 2 minute wait it's not going to happen. Here's a word of advice, they care more about the Inside of the store rather than the drive-through. Make your way inside and maybe you'll get your food within 30 minutes. I like Farmer Boys because of their real onion rings. These are true crunchy made from scratch rings. Some people don't like them because the batter falls off that lets you know they are real. No frozen out of a bag onion rings. The hamburgers are are always fresh. My only complaint is they could be a little hotter if they toasted the buns. Best place ever waiting 38 mins for a sale that's happening nation wide is not hard to understand and yes the deal was $2 for a big cheese (national cheeseburger day ) despite the fact that the store wasn't prepared for this event I still give my props to the 3 cooks and 2 servers also the drive thru girls for doing an amazing job and taking everyone's order even though the line was out the door and drive thru was long thank you Turlock farmer boys you managed to help us and bring our orders out! Okay so usually I'm expecting new establishments to have some hiccups during their first month open. It's always happened to me, and it's just expected. brand new staff, busy, etc. But yeah anyways, this place exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend's burger was massive and fresh, had great ingredients. He was happy with it. The fries are crispy and bomb, and the ranch is BOMB-BOMB!! I'm literally a ranch-connoisseur and it passed the test. It tastes like it's made in house. The staff was cool and whatnot. My BLT was good. I was very pleased to hear of a Farmer Boys opening in Turlock. Prior to that I had to travel to Ceres to fulfill my Farmer Boys cravings. Sorry to report I will still be traveling to another town when the Farmer Boys urge strikes. I did receive an email today inviting me to celebrate National Cheeseburger day at Farmer Boys, with a Cheeseburger special listed at $2.00....only to find out after traveling to the address in Turlock, that they are not honoring the special....wasted trip. This place is good in the day but the night crew makes a circus out of the drive thru. I know that the inside is closed but it took over 40 min. I've never been to a Farmer Boys before so this was my first time yesterday morning. My daughter got the kids hot cake meal. It comes with a hot cake, eggs and choice of bacon or sausage. She doesn't like eggs so it was just a hot cake and ONE slice of bacon. I thought maybe they would give a bit more bacon especially since she didn't get eggs. Nope. Wasn't even offered a substitute. Ok fine. The hot cake was not fluffy at all. Looks like those frozen ones you get at a supermarket. I got the basic burger and that's exactly what it tasted like. Basic. I ordered it with the onion rings with were pretty big but that was the biggest disappointment of the meal. The looked orange and had NO FLAVOR AT ALL!! Soooo blah! Loved it!!! Customer service is so nice, polite and friendly I'm definitely going back. I have a gluten allergy and their burgers wrapped are ten times better then in and out the wrap is a healthier greener lettuce then the common ice burg lettuce that in and out uses to wrap theirs.
