Are you annoyed and fatigued by being forced to eat unhealthy options because you travel? I sure…read moream! Saladworks at PHL helps me avoid such and can do the same for you too. They offer about ten different made to order salads. The salads range in calories with the majority at about 300 before adding dressing. The ingredients are standard such as lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and are fresh, being brought in daily. My favorite is the Bentley and my husband loves the cobb. Salads come with a choice of white or wheat roll which is also very tasty. The staff are friendly and move the line along quickly. Their menu can be found online and they do not increase the prices just because you are at the airport! I had to stand there waiting for (and staring at) my completely ready-to-go salad because the guy in front of me was waiting for his sandwich. That didn't make sense. Just let me pay! You're in an airport so you really need to be efficiently organized for hangry/rushed travelers! My salad was fine, but they dumped way too much dressing on it. I also didn't have much time to eat it, since they decided to start boarding not long after they handed out the vouchers. Glad I didn't pay, since that was one pricey salad. It used up most of my voucher! Ah, well. I'd pass on this place in the future, but it wasn't a terrible meal.

Stopped by for lunch before an afternoon flight. Figured this was going to be "discount Chipotle"…read moreif you can imagine getting more discount than Chipotle. Honestly, quality is pretty good. This is the rare case where the portion size actually matches the price in the genre of airport food. Taste wise is also solid. Expect about what you'd find in a Chipotle, except be surprised that you found it in an airport terminal. Staff were helpful and the only knock is that they ran out of carnitas during peak lunch time. Not sure how that happened, but would love some improvement in proper stocking at peak meal times. That being said, about any time of day is peak meal time at an airport, so it's understandable and doesn't bring down the overall impression of the place.

It should be required eating for flight personnel so you have a safe flight. If you are not familiar with Currito--you better get familiar with it!, and it's a good reason alone to fly out of PHI--don't bother bringing any food to the airport. They will load you up with great chicken and veggies and grains--you will feel so good after your flight. No reason to have any other restaurant or food in an airport when you have Currito--that is how strong I feel about this restaurant. Such hard working and nice employees here. Owner: See what you can do about expanding throughout the United States airports. ONE MAJOR NEGATIVE: Change he bowl lids! They are impossible to keep on and get back on. You can do better!

The food you see in my pics was about $20 in total (via deals mentioned later). Unbeatable in this economy! The garden bar is always amazing. Sometimes the croutons run low (understandable being the highlight of any good salad haha) but most things get refilled consistently. Tastes fresh and never gets boring! Ok so you gotta join the free email rewards. They always have good deals throughout the week. $7 burger meals are hard to beat. Add on the garden bar for another $7, which has some pastas, potato salad, protein, and fruit, on top of your typical salad options. It's nice taking the onions, tomoatos, cucumbers, peppers, mushrooms, cheese, and putting it in the entree (like a burger). It truly elevates the meal. If you have extras you can take it to go to really get your moneys worth I almost knocked it down a star for the restroom being not the cleanest, the stall door being wonky/not locking but hey I really can't complain with the value we're getting here, it's easily overlookable. One other thing to note was it looked like our server was the bartender (a bit understaffed) which added maybe a 10-15 min wait in total, not a problem especially given you can start out with the garden bar pretty much as soon as you're seated. The atmosphere is pretty chill and cozy. Not loud (no loud music or anything despite having a bar), nice dim/calm setting to relax and enjoy a nice meal. And plenty of parking. Highly recommend!

No complaints on service. But I'd go hungry before eating here again…read more The food was stale, overcooked and dry. Quality was as low as low can be. The one bright side, is that I survived the next day without having food poisoning. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

I asked her, why it was more than $8.99 and she indicated it was for tax. The receipt indicated 29 cent fee for employee benefits. I asked for the fee to be refunded and the employee refused, pointing to a sign indicating the fee. The sign was hidden in a crevice in front of the cash register, and she had to pull it out. Furthermore, the 3% was applied to the sales tax as well as the purchase price. (3% of $8.99 would be 27 cents, not 29 cents. This is probably why the final total was hand-entered, to get around a software limitation of some sort.) I'm not so concerned about the amount of the fee, but the way it was presented was deceptive. The payment terminal should allow a full breakdown of the amount charged prior to payment, or the employee should at least clearly answer, when asked, that the total includes taxes and fees, but only taxes. As for the food itself, this is probably the best place in Terminal D to get fresh fruit to go, hence two stars rather than one.

I thought I could enter the restaurant directly from a door outside of the compound. WRONG! To start I was in an SUV so I had to pay $3 to get in and park. Make sure you display the parking receipt because parking ticket are and will be issued. Make sure you park near building C so you can enter the building, make sure you walk on the 'pedestrian path'. If you do not use the dedicated path you run a major risk of being mowed down by the many moving forklifts. But once you find the restaurant it will be worth it once you place and have your order. My order was taken and delivered perfectly to go. You can eat in as well the place is very clean with many seats and a television. I ordered brioche french toast and creamed chipped beef. All of the food was packed to go in styrofoam containers which made me a little nervous. I drove home about 15 minutes away to be pleasantly surprised, my french toast was still warm, firm, the perfect width and thickness. The french toast was made with 'real' brioche bread and clearly had the taste of the egg batter with cinnamon and vanilla. They added blueberries and strawberries with ample syrup and butter. As for the chipped cream beef my mother was totally happy with it she said, it was cooked perfectly and it was enough for two people. This should make the produce workers very happy. My suggestion, if you are buying bulk produce or willing to pay $3 to park the food is good and a very fair price. You can also park on the street and walk the equivalent of 3 blocks. The total price for the order of 2 very large slices of french toast with berries and chipped cream beef with tax, $13.93. Will I go again although I have to pay $3 to park? Probably...
