So I'm at the newly renovated PHL airport terminal C and wanted a salad. It's the airport so I'm expecting to pay $25 for a disappointing salad at a place with a familiar name run by disgruntled airport food service vendors. This was not the case! This was run by the restaurant staff who were happy and pleasant and appreciated their customers. The pizza looked great and my salad was large, phenomenal and fresh and a fair $13 price. I'm still in shock.

If you're looking for a reliable and tasty food option at the airport, head to Terminal C and grab a slice or two of pizza. The pizza was surprisingly delicious, with a perfect amount of spice and friendly service from the airport staff.

Was in the airport for a few hours this trip and pizza sounded so good. It is one of my favorite foods so you can't really go wrong there. It was good for what it is and would grab a bite here again so it was ok with service, food, and the airport atmosphere. It was a bummer that all the seating was taken. Ordering was kind of awkward. One employee took what I am guessing his buddy's order in the middle while the guy at the register asked me to step around and order at the other end. The food itself looked like it had sat out for a while and they tossed back in the oven to reheat. He asked if I wanted to but might have if it was fresh out of the oven. I was ok with the single slice reheat, and still enjoyed it. All in all, it was good.

While waiting on our flight we wanted a small bite to eat and didn't want to pay a fortune. We noticed that this spot was selling slices of chesse pizza that looked pretty good for $4.50 each. They had quite a few other options (it was 7am) but the pizza was calling us. The slice of pizza was a decent size and was satisfying and delicious! If I'm ever back at the Philadelphia Intl Airport I'd definitely give them another try.

They add a 3% "wage and benefit" surcharge to all bills. Who do these people think they are??? Why wouldn't you just raise the menu prices by 3%. I like businesses that don't do asinine things and value transparency and honesty - this is not one of them! I mean how dumb can you be? Why stop there, why not add a napkin fee, a utility surcharge, a credit card processing fee - why not take every single damn line item on your P&L and add it as a surcharge to the bill! It's armature hour here apparently.

Chicken Parmesan special pizza slice $6

Got a special slice of chicken Parmesan pizza for $6. Not too oily, has nice amount of cheese that made the strings of melted cheese when I ate j Got a special slice of chicken Parmesan pizza for $6. Not too oily, has nice amount of melty, stringy cheese when taking a bite. Sauce was on the fresher side of tomato sauces, like tomato purée, or marinara sauce taste. A good medium between store bought and the freshest of fresh sauces. Chicken could've been more present, and was a little cold. But the slice overall was nice and hot. I worried slightly about getting cold pizza, as the pizza seemed to be on non-heated trays. But the slice was heated immediately after buying, resulting in fresh out the oven crispy crust and melted cheese. $6 is pricey for pizza, but the slice was Costco or Sam's club pizza size so that was nice. And comparative to other airport food, it was reasonable price. Is Aldo Lamberti Trattori pizza good as New York pizza? Perhaps missing a bit of spice, zest or toppings like the best of Little Italy pizza in Manhattan. But respectable. Bonus is the workers were nice

This is definitely the best part of the Philadelphia airport!! The pizza is SO good; it's my go-to place before I leave. I had the mushroom mozzarella and it didn't disappoint! So filled with both ingredients and the crust is think and crisp! One of these times, I need to try something different. Treat yourself.

I more or less stumbled upon Aldo Lamberti Trattoria in Philadelphia's international airport after a flight. During COVID-19 quite a few options are closed so I decided to get some food where I could before my next flight. I'm sure glad I did. I was skeptical at the food at first, as it's airport food, however don't let that keep you away. The food is delicious and of really good quality. I have gotten some slices of pizza here, both cheese and veggie which were very good. I also have had a eggplant parm stack that was absolutely delicious. The eggplant is spot on. The line moves quickly and the people are nice. They have a sanitizing station as well as some condiments towards the end of the line. I absolutely will not hesitate to come here again.

Spinach, egg, and cheese as big as your head on exceptional ciabatta bread

This crack-of-dawn layover breakfast ($14.58 with tax) may be the best thing I've eaten this week. Stymied by La Colombe having only cinnamon-raisin bagels, I almost didn't stop at this "trattoria" that is a counter along a walkway in Terminal C. The dude behind the counter saw me checking out this panino ($10.75; the other two were BEC and sausage and egg) and fixed one for me before I could say a word. The eggs are perfectly cooked and seasoned - which is a good thing since the only condiments available are packets of ketchup and hot sauce - and the mozzarella seems to be fresh. Without a doubt, though, the ciabatta is the main attraction. Since pizza is probably this place's bread and butter, the exceptionally tasty bread shouldn't be surprising. Crisp and chewy yet tender on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, it's a perfect vehicle for simple ingredients that add up to more than the sum of their parts. The sandwich is big enough to share or to split over two meals, served in a foil box of the thinnest aluminum possible, but I did manage to keep it intact long enough to discover that the other half of the sandwich is still pretty good cold for lunch. At least the box wasn't styrofoam, which the cup containing the small coffee ($2.75) unfortunately was. Don't skip the coffee, which was surprisingly great despite being dispensed from an unprepossessing urn rather than an espresso machine. I've definitely had worse Americanos.

Cheap $6.50 with tax specialty large pizza slices. Shockingly genuinely kind and friendly service. Literally not even airport standards excellent, any normal local diner kinda of great smiling service. 10/10 Ps take the pizza down a little further down the terminal and get a beer

I got dinner here before my flight back to Dallas. First off, the staff was really nice. They were very busy and made a point to ask me how I was doing and were very friendly. Sadly, they were out of the meatball sandwich as well as the chicken Parmesan sandwich. I settled for a chicken pesto sandwich. I got it "toasted". It turned out almost burnt. The chicken and meat inside was unbelievably dry. I decided to add some red pepper and the top was open. I ended up just eating the burnt bread mainly. Definitely NOT worth $18.

One of the best places for airport food that I have experienced. The food is excellent. It is one of the few places with breakfast at the airport. All panini bread for sandwiches is home made. Breakfast meals are excellent and large enough to share. At the Philadelphia Airport, it is located right across from gate C24 in concourse C. I would have rated it a five star, but the employees were arguing with each other while preparing my sandwich. That was very unprofessional. They ended up putting cheese on my sandwich when I asked for no cheese. There is a seating area, but small. They also accept euro for those returning from a trip from Europe. We will be sure to return here when passing through the Philadelphia Airport in the future.

    Caprese panini ($11.95)
    Alice L.

Airport food is always overpriced for mediocre food, but Aldo Lamberti was a surprise. Their prices were reasonable (for airport standards) and the food was actually quite good with several pizza and sandwich options. I ordered the caprese panini ($11.95), which tasted great. Loved the bread and the amount of fresh mozzarella cheese in the sandwich. I only wished the panini was a bit more toasted because the cheese wasn't as melted as I would've liked. Also, the bottom bread became quite soggy, probably because of the tomatoes but I'm sure there's a way to making this sandwich that would keep the bread fresh. Regardless, I would be happy to return to this joint. Located in Terminal C.

The mozzarella was a show pulling it tableside from curds to a full 8oz ball finished with salt , pepper, and flavored olive oil. Dinner we ordered three Italian specialties. Chicken Milanese that was served with shaved Italian cheese and arugula. One vela parm which had the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. The third meal was a basic bolognese that was served with mafaldine pasta. Entrees were all good. We also added the truffle pasta option for the table which was also prepared tableside with the cheese wheel and shavings of fresh black truffles was a perfect finish. We also had a sharing side of gnocchi with sauce. All in all we had a solid meal. It wasn't the best Italian I even had but it's good. The total was 336 for three with 2 rounds of drinks . This is pretty good for center city fine dining.

Everything was as perfect as it could be why is that because this restaurants been doing it for over 126 years they know a thing or two their customers and had to prepare plate delicious meals. My wife was going back-and-forth between their signature lasagna and a little weak weenie with crab Bianco and in the end she went with the baked lasagna oh my goodness the size of that piece on the plate we took half home. She certainly enjoyed her. For me, I went with the veal Catherine, the medallions veal with shrimp, lump crab meat, and fresh tomato and a Bianco sauce the plating presentation I can't describe you'll just have to see my photograph. I've never seen it like this before and it was extremely tasty. Very tender I would certainly get that dish again. And since I am not a pasta eater, I ordered a side vegetable of broccoli Rob. My wife was surprising me she had already pre-ordered their homemade tiramisu with ladyfingers, which would wind up taking with us cause we were kind of full and had later that night at one of our favorite coffee houses in Philly and boy that dessert was perfect and I'm glad we waited.
