I liked the fact that this place has organic, fair trade coffee, so I had a regular cup of joe. The coffee was pretty good, not great, but it was better than anything else I found in St. Augustine. My husband had an americano. The shots took forever to pull and ended up tasting very bitter. Our barista was unfriendly. Excellent coffee. They have almond milk and sugar in the raw which makes the coffee delicous. They also have gluten free options like bagels bread and sometimes a gluten free dish. I always walk away feeling healthy and not over stuffed. They have free wifi and a quiet atmosphere. I go all the time. Support local! read more

The coffee is excellent....if there is any. Two visits on consecutive days. First. Good coffee, bad muffin. Blueberry muffin tasted like it came from a SAMs box. Day two, there was no half and half (they shrugged and said they ran out). And. No coffee except de-caf. They pleasant, but lackadaisical employee said she would make some but it would take 15 minutes. As I waited, about ten people entered and a line formed. It was about 8:30 on a Friday. Plan ahead. Popped in got a quick cup of coffee while I waited for a friend to get off work. Most of their coffee is locally roasted and pretty darn delicious. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and the prices were reasonable for how they've branded themselves. Also tried the Almond Poppyseed Muffin - super moist, and surprisingly flavorful! I've been coming here for over a year now usually for lunch. Oddly enough I've never tried their coffee. I personally love the inside, it feels cozy and quaint and I love looking at the beautiful artwork they have of local spots in town. Sometimes the service isn't so great...which is why I won't give 5 stars. But the sandwiches are what keep me coming back. I usually buy and prepare my own food, but after a crazy weekend at a wedding, we stopped in here for coffee. I was extremely hungry and had not really prepared for my eating need. I asked if they could modify a dish to fit every irritating need I have. They accommodated me happily. They went out of their way and were extremely professional. Best coffee shop over. Me and my boyfriend were in town from Atlanta last weekend. We came to this place 2 days in a row and I was tempted to come the last day. Instead we went to a brunch restaurant that was not nearly as good and I regretted not coming here even more. There was live music both days! It was really good music too.. chill enough so that you could still study or have a conversation without distraction. And the food?! It was more like a high end restaurant than a coffee shop. I go to a lot of coffee shops in Atlanta but we have nothing that compares to this place. They have a great tea selection which I loved. Also this is my first review on Yelp.
