Shame on me for not going here sooner. In fairness though, the place blends into its surroundings and it's hard to know it's even there. However, that's pretty much all I can find fault in. Breakfast sandwiches, paninis, great coffee... It's all there. The interior is very inviting and quaint and the coffee was really good. All of the food was fresh and tasted great. I had a breakfast panini with ham and it was a nice surprise to find that they use real ham (thick slices like a spiral ham) rather than deli style. My wife had one with sausage and it tasted even better than the one I chose. My daughter got Nutella and bananas on toasted bread. She couldn't stop talking about how good it was and she's a super picky eater. I plan on returning for many more breakfasts. I hope to try a sandwich or two for lunch someday as well. This amazing gem has one the best employee out there! They are all so welcoming as if you are a regular even if it's your first time going in. We stopped here on our way out of Salem and it was a great find. The coffee was good, nothing spectacular but the food choices were awesome. The kids had open faced banana and Nutella sandwiches, which they loved and we had egg sandwiches on really tasty bagels. It was clean, price was good and some fun games on the table. We showed up just before a town meeting of sorts and by the time we left it was very crowded and loud. We'd definitely recommend. read more

Fabulous iconic breakfast spot. Doesn't look like what it is from the inside. Ubered 30 min from Andover Mass to get here'and it was fabulous: Got the Cobbler with two fried eggs (tasted like not fried no oil) with a perfectly toasted thin bagel, just the right amount of avocado, spinach, tomato and deliciously flavored cheese they say is American but it was thin, white, melted into the egg. Unusually wholesome tasting, perfect combination. This is a real find if you want a small bed and breakfast kind of place (it's not) with a real home cooked feel . Great jazz playing the whole time, sun streaming through large windows relaxing view. Very satisfying experience! read more

WOW. I LOVE COFFEE. I stopped in this morning because I had a few extra minutes. I waited for 3 - 4 minutes while the two guys were super busy making delicious sandwiches and whirring up some tricky coffee concoction. I enjoy good, clean, simple coffee. This coffee made my face happy. I felt like I had taste buds on my forehead. It was smooth and flavorful and strong. If you want real coffee, with real service, stop in here. I've been coming here for a couple months now! I love the fact that they offer soy for your coffee at no extra charge, unlike other coffee chains. They also have gluten free bread for sandwiches and great coffee! The only downside is they close after 3pm. I hope they get enough business in the future to stay open later. :) read more

The nearest good competition is in Derry or Nashua...too far for a quick bite and great coffee. They have a bright future ahead of them.
