I checked them out on Yelp and saw a whole lot of favorable reviews for their pizza, calzones, wings, salads and entrees . We planned on having pizza tonight and had already defrosted a pizza shell and some sliced sausage we keep in the freezer. But be honest, what goes best with pizza (that isn't alcoholic?) Of course the answer is salad. So that brings us to our visit today where we ordered a $12.95 Chef's Salad. Our container was loaded with Romaine Lettuce, red onion, grape tomatoes, peppers, and ham, turkey and provolone cheese ribbons. The store's interior is quite attractive with a dark wood floor, white tabletops and metal webbed chairs. Their main attraction is a gorgeous red brick beehive pizza oven that looks like it belongs in an art museum. Our server Constantine was terrific, personable, friendly and just plain old super nice. How was our salad? It was excellent, plenty of food for two. The Chef's Salad was just one of thirteen on their menu, so there's a ton of variety. Available dressings include Italian, Ranch, Caesar, Honey Mustard, Balsamic, Oil & Vinegar, Blue Cheese, and Raspberry Vinaigrette. We went for the Honey Mustard and it was excellent. We plan on returning to go a little deeper into their menu, but we sure had a favorable first opinion of Farmington Pizza + Kitchen. read more

3.5 stars rounded up. Their app didn't work and you can't order delivery by phone. Then they misunderstood my order so I waited longer for them to add the pepperoni to my pizza. But... the pizza is good. The pepperoni is those charred little cups, the sauce and cheese are good. The sausage is just ok- it's more minced than other places. And the crust isn't quite as crispy as I usually prefer. But overall this pizza was good and eventually I hope to be able to have them deliver in the future. read more

Have been craving a calzone so decided to order one for lunch the other day. Have never been to Farmington Pizza and Kitchen, but work in Farmington so wanted to support the local pizza joint. The calzone looked beautiful! I ordered mushroom and pepperoni. It came with ricotta and mozz. It was good. The sauce they serve with the calzone was very chunky. It had A LOT of Italian seasoning. It was ok. I was wondering to myself if they use the same sauce on their pizza. I may try it sometime but would be disappointed if they used the calzone sauce. The calzone itself had way too much ricotta (and I LOVE ricotta). There was plenty of mushrooms and pepperoni, but just too much ricotta. Oh - and the crust was actually really good (hence the reason I'd be interested in trying their pizza sometime). Overall - it was decent but not amazing! read more

What a great addition to the selection of great food options in Farmington. I ordered delivery and it was fast, hot and amazing. First bite I knew this was a good oven cooking this pizza. The pizza was delicious. The thin crust slices are not too thin and the pizza was perfectly cooked a light golden brown that let me taste the dough and the crust is chewy and not too thick. The pizza with artichokes and roasted red peppers was delicious and no red sauce which my tummy appreciated. I like sauce but it doesn't always agree with me so I was very happy with my pizza. The delivery was right on time and I will have to try another pizza from there soon. Maybe I will try a sauce pizza. The Baklava dessert was a good size and I enjoyed that too. This is the old Pomodoro Kitchen which I never really frequented. There are SO many good pizza places in the area, they have tough competition. Here's what I loved: A nice big menu beyond pizza. The Chicken Parm dish was enough for about 3 meals and the chicken was the real deal. Mozzarella sticks are always popular too. The pizza is mostly a winner and will come down to your own personal preferences. The sauce and toppings are rock solid with great ingredients. They also have interesting combinations. We got the bacon cheeseburger one (with ketchup and pickles). It was even better the next day for left overs. Same with the buffalo chicken. My only criticism is that I tend to like my pizza a little more hard baked. But will ask for it the next time! Lots to like about this. read more

Passing through the Farmington area on the way back to Massachusetts and stopped here to grab a bite. From the moment we walked in we was greeted with a warm smile and friendly attitude. Picked seats furthest away from the Air conditioner and the staff notices the kids was cold and adjusted the temp without hesitation and without having to ask. As we waited we took pictures and encouraged the kids to partake for my girlfriends birthday. The staff overheard us and offered free sodas on the house to go with food we already order. My coworker and I visited here while running a wedding charter. It's a good location on Farmington avenue across from the driving range, right next to a Dunkin's and many other little stores. It's a small place on the outside but inside it's quite cute and welcoming. A small seating area but not just pop up tables for grab and go eating. It has the pizzeria vibe but not old world decor, very fresh. The waiter/counter person was very friendly and polite. We grabbed some drinks from the cooler and sat enjoying the AC! I picked the Caprese salad w/balsamic glaze and my coworker ordered the gyro w/fries. The food came quickly and the presentation was pretty nice. Clean plates, eye appealing and fresh ingredients. I do wish they had peppercorn grinders instead of pepper shakers for flavor sake but otherwise the meal was very tasty. Came as a recommendation from a friend. Was going to place a large order for a party and emailed Miguel to ask if they can make mac n cheese since I didn't see it on the menu. His response was simply "no we don't make that" Wow! This person has no business working with customers. Also, If you can't make simple mac n cheese please don't call yourself a restaurant. Lost my business before even earning in. There's an excellent competitor right down the street (Italian city name) that I will continue giving business to. They actually know how to greet customers and modify menu if necessary. My picky kids love everything from there and get to pick sauce and pasta shape. They go out of their way to please customers. One of my wife's and my favorites spots. The food is absolutely fantastic (I've had nothing bad on the menu so far, and I've had a lot) and the service is next to none. The workers are always cordial and helpful. We typically get it to go, but whenever we have eaten inside the vibe is great! One time on a rainy day they had the windows open which was a really nice touch! It's a wonderful spot and you should definitely eat here! read more

This place tried to scam me. I literally attempted to order a small pizza with garlic Parmesan wings. It only allowed me to be able to add the pizza which made the order under $20 so it automatically adds an additional $2 to your delivery fee. So I called and asked them to add the wings to the order and to just charge the card on file. That is when I was the. Informed they could take my card over the phone to pay for the wings but they couldn't add it with the pizza. So before placing the online order I said okay no problem I'll just order both the pizza and the wings over the phone for delivery and then I was informed I couldn't do that. So I exited out of the delivery and refreshed the page where I was then able to add the wings and the pizza. I placed the order and called to confirm that they had my order in which the young man over the phone said he did see my order and that they would start making it. This is at 6:45. When my order was confirmed kt gave me a delivery window between 7:50-8:05. At 7:55 I received a phone call saying they did not see my order at all and asked if my name was Rebecca, I said no and I stated my name and he said he did not see my order although when I initially placed the order I called and he said he had seen my placed order. I asked for his personal cellphone number where I screenshot the order placed and sent it to him. 5 minutes later another gentleman called me and "was looking for my order" and could never find it and told me to reorder my order. By the time I went back and tried to place the order again the system was down because they close at 8 pm. So he told me although I've been waiting for over an hour that they couldn't place my order and deliver it even if I paid with cash and then referred me to "their sister company" I'm guessing named Naple. Exact same website with the exception of the name but all of the topping and items on their menu is like $.50-2.00 more than Farmington house. I declined and just ordered dominos. Something about this place seems fishy and I would beware. Unless you go in store if in fact it's a true brick and mortar I would not order online because they def charged my card for an order they claim was never placed and that they couldn't find in their system. Arrived at the time that the Slice app said it would be ready and the pizzas were stone cold. The folks there were kind enough to reheat for me and suggested we order directly in the future which we will. That's the bad news. The good news was that these pizzas were freaking delicious! Second time getting pizza here and we loved it! It's a thinner crust style with a really good sauce and just great flavor overall. I don't usually get pepperoni but they use these delicious little pepperonis that curl up into little cups. It's cooked well with a nice crust I'm craving a slice as I write this. read more

Food may be good but service is the pits. Especially for customers who order from them on a weekly basis. I didn't think businesses could afford to lose customers but they've lost this one. Won't ever walk in the door or place an order from them again. I've given them mulitple opportunities but this time takes the cake. When a customer calls about their order, and nothing is done to rectify that order, that is sad, very sad. If the customer tells you they wanted delivery service and call and tell you they meant to do delivery, don't just say your food is sitting here waiting for you to pick it up, offer to have it delivered. Worst service EVER. Been there twice and the first time, we waited over an hour to get serviced. The 2nd and last time we waited an hour and a half. Food is bland and not good and over priced . Plus there was an ALIVE big fly flying around in the pizza topping shaker at out table. Trapped in the shaker. It arrived at 2:15 PM COLD Not appetizing at all. Nobody called to apologize THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVERT HAD. DOMINOES would probably have been a better choice Over 60.00 for the order, a delivery charge and a healthy tip for the driver who could not find a store in a shopping center with big signs is sad.
